Wonderful owners, great classes and large open space!
Clay space has been a great place for me to learn pottery. Ceramic artists from beginners to advanced can take their craft to the next level here in many ways. If youre a beginner, the classes are inviting and fun. Mariahs instruction is patient, thorough, and easy to follow. Ive heard wonderful things about the other instructors there too. If you have experience you can take a mid-level/advanced class. They offer half a dozen or more class selections that range from one day to 8 weeks (meeting once a week, with open studio hours access, a bag of clay, and free use of glazes). You can also work it out on your own with day passes and ten day passes on a punch card (ten pack). Love this place!
Excellent working space and wonderful community! Ive taken two classes in succession here (about 3 months), and Mariahs instruction has shaped me from a cold beginner to a strong intermediate wheel-thrower. It is always a pleasure to come in, never too crowded, never too empty. I show up and feel productive and centered. Everyone supports each other and the superb skill and range of those who practice there is an inspiration. The hours have changed since the previous review. Id recommend visiting the website to find out when the studio is open.
