It’s good place for kids and they can play in the water. Life guard available.Restroom available but it’s in ok condition.Parking lot available.There is entrance fee per person.long weekends will be over crowded and it will be full around 11. So plan accordingly.Normal weekends, less crowd only.

Wonderful little park with a pretty beach, nice piers, areas to fish and picnic, and two playgrounds. Its free and much less crowded in the off season. Great place to sit and watch the tide come in, or sailboats on the water, or just a lovely sunset. Very peaceful and relaxing especially during the winter.

Its an easily accessible beach, with a nice park, benches, playground, bathrooms, volleyball net and grills to cook on. There is a small fee to enter during peak times in the Summer, but its free after Labor day I believe. There are so many areas of the park where you can find a spot to yourself as well as the beaches there with less of a crowd if you go in the back or down the hill after you pass the park.

It was kind of an okay place to go. There is $4/adult entry, which is well worth it. The washrooms definitely need to be kept better. Too much drifting litter in the beach (logs, leaves, seaweed etc) and spots if dog poop! Water is murky with sand. They have picnic tables and BBQ pits. It is fun for a quiet cool evening with the kids.

Small beach area, but lots of cookout areas, water for fishing and boating. Very family friendly!!! We had a gets time... never even knew the place existed until now. Oh you do have to pay to enter just fyi.

FYI t desk check out is super slow , understaff ( just one person), while other workers walk around ....Restaurant is highly expensive and the quality of the food is not worth the Price.Waiting staff is friendly but needs more training our Coffee got cold waiting for the crema and sugar everyday!. Break a potatoes were super hard and the eggs from a container dry and tasteless. French a cinnamon Toast had not Cinnamon at all hardly any powered sugar and the white bread was thin...Dinner was also super expensive no worth the high prices $35 steak was super dry instead of medium well. No bread and butter before dinner even.The kitchen seems to be very far from dining room so be ready to wait.They should have covers for the dinner plates hat will help keep the heat on our dinner s were not hot at all and it was 6 of us.However the place is clean and well maintained plenty of outdoor sitting outside to relax and enjoy the view. There is also hiking and little paddling boats at the Lake .Free sodas, water and Coffee in the Casino.The staff is friendly just the Restaurant needs lots of improvement. The food quality is not good.So, Bring your own snacks bagels, cereals . That’s what we are doing next time ... Hopefully , diner will have improve by then ....

Our first evening in the patio for live music. Unfortunately the rain started just a few minutes before the bands start time. I give the band credit, they played for the 25 individuals who braved the elements. Drinks were tasty and the menu looked awesome. Will definitely be back again

I love it here. Its relaxing. The kids love to play in the sand. We like to bring our family for picnics and the park is free before memorial day. I really want to try to utilize the Kayaks and hope I can make it on the days that they offer service.

Affordable, accessible beach for the northeastern area of the city and southeastern areas of Baltimore County. Not much swim area for doing laps but huge area where kids can comfortably roam (3 feet tall or so) with easy view from the beach. Usually 2 or 3 lifeguards. Pleasantly surprised.

Kids had fun but the water is not clean.Other than that, nice hang out place with family and friends. They have have everything.

Nice swimming park for smaller kids. Shallow water, plenty of picnic tables and shade. There are two playgrounds here. Again, awesome for toddlers or those who does not swim. Be careful in the water though as there are rather sharp rocks in certain spots.

Its a nice place totake kids if you cant take them to the real beach. It was clean and had plenty of picnic tables. Parking was accessible. They have a decent playground. The only downside is that they dont have much of paved places for kids to play with scooters or ride bikes.

Great little (stress on little) beach. The water is pretty shallow, so its great for kids. Theres insects but we didnt find them too bothersome. NB: the gate only takes cash.

Excellent! You can swim and also kids friendly. There is also children playgrounr.Ample parking and quite helpful employees who seem to enjoy their job. Picnic area is enough to accommodate large group gatherings.

Our favorite place for kayaking! Paddle over to Hart Miller Island and enjoy the beach and swimming.

This place is truly beautiful. Not very big size wise but gives you access to the water which makes it endless. It has a amazing little beach that you can swim at or just sit back and admire the water. The point is this really cool rock shore area that seems to spearhead into the water. Great place to fish and to bring young kids.

The beach itsself is quite small unfortunately, but irs a great view with a playground, several halls, park beaches and a volleyball court. Only downside is some of the park is unavailable due to the pandemic

Golf course layout is nice. The greens were slow, probably because of the number of days with high temperatures. The cool thing about Rocky is the location on the Bay.

Very small beach side. Otherwise a great place for people who own boats or other river vehicle. There are separate areas for picnic and grilling too.

I found this beach kind of small but very family friendly;however its probably more enjoyable during the week compared to the weekends. The bathrooms are public bathroom not overly clean but also not neglected. The seating area was ok. It cost $7 for those 11 and older. We hope to come again.

It was very very shallow like where the ropes are is to my waste and they dont allow any floating stuff for kids to play with he life guards will blow there whistle at them.. they charge 7 dollars per person to get in age 11 and up... to me it definitely not worth it tbh.. we wont be coming back to it...

We went during the week. Not many people. Pet and kid friendly. The concession stand was not open so pack a lunch.

The park is well kept and there are a lot of staff around. It costs $8 per person (might just be for adults). But they only start charging in June.There are large pavilions (closed right now due to pandemic). There are lots of individual picnic tables and grills (which are still open).Theres a sandy beach area and a pier at the very end. As far as fishing, youll want a pole that can cast 150+ ft to get past the rocks on the side open to the main river. Otherwise you can fish in the shallower area, but we didnt have much luck catching anything there.There are also bathroom facilities and a playground.

Great local park. Two playgrounds, lots of places to fish, boat ramp, sailing club, pavilions to rent and a swimming beach. Costs money between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Very pretty place to visit when near by. Retreat Vive during the fall-winter, when the park is open and free. Always nice to take a stroll around. Very quiet and peaceful.

A challenging course but its a great course to test all of your shot selections. The views of the water are spectacular. If you look up in the sky closely you will see a Bald Eagle flying in the sky.

We always go there for a local trip to the beach. Its a great location. Perfect for swimming, cooking out or even hiking. For me the bonus is u can take my dog, they are not permitted on the beach but she loves going for nice walks.

I go to Rocky Point often. Years ago we swam here as a family but I havent gone down to swim anymore.We take walks and go for picnics often. Its a nice place to spend a lazy peaceful afternoon.

Get here early and enjoy the great outdoors. The swimming area closed at 6pm but the park stays open till 8. Plenty of room to grill & Bbq. Bring a towel and just jump in or go boating. Plenty of parking, $mall fee for plenty of fun. Go, put your phone down and have fun.

We had our kids birthday cookout here. It was very clean nice staff all around and we had a great time. Bathrooms were much cleaner then Gunpowder Also. I would recommend going here before I would ever go back to Gunpowder Park.

Its a nice, cozy place to relax, canoe, sail, and just enjoy the day. The only downside is, the patrons regularly leave their trash everywhere! The staff has a hard time keeping up with it.
