The staff was great and very helpful. The pool, laundry room and restrooms were well kept. Very safe for all, kids, dogs and people. Neighbors were very friendly. Very nice breeze through the park on hot days. There are 2 levels to this park, the upper level is very spacious, big pads larger street, much newer. The lower level is smaller pads and much tighter maneuvering room. Pick you number carefully. That is the only reason I did not give this park a 5.

Very nice park. Exceptionally lovely folks staffing the office to check you in. Beautiful landscaping which attracts plenty of birds and hummingbirds. This RV resort is laid out nicely and backs up to a park which has a lovely green space, and a play area for kids. Escondido RV Resort is dog friendly, kid friendly and the people we’ve encountered during our stay have been quite pleasant. The only negative would be the constant road noise. However, I believe that it could be alleviated with a white noise machine. Come visit and enjoy your stay here.

Cute little RV resort. Tight spaces but very clean and well kept resort. Some highway noise but nothing terrible. Adam the GM was very nice from check in through check out. He was even able to accommodate us after check out to another site while we waited for our package to arrive. Clean laundry room and showers. Will stay here again.

Adam and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful! I liked the ability to leave your propane tank out in the driveway to be filled and returned! Very nice rv park.

Easy access from freeway.Close to stores and fuel.The park is divided into lower and upper area do it doesnt feel oversized.Beautiful flowers and trees all over the Resort.Every site as an array of flowers and trees.The amenities are very nice , clean and well kept. The manager was very knowledgeable of rvs and the slide outs and how much space we needed and his sites and which ones would best suit our needs with kids.The laundry room was very clean and had separate units for the pets. Although I dont think most people with pets followed that policy and I found that all of the washers had a fair amount of pet hair in them, which I didnt love as I dont have pets.The bathrooms were immaculate and roomy. The pool was quaint and clean and had beautiful plants surrounding it so it felt like an oasis.The resort grounds were well kept , never saw garbage sitting out. The maintenance was regularly driving around emptying the trash Barrels. I believe I counted 28 of them. Which are wine barrels so they look nice. But that seems like a ton of work driving around emptying them.Sites were 95 percent full on the weekend.It didnt feel crowded or busy at this amount.We will definately be back again and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.We will be back again

This place use to be safe and peaceful, but during the last month of our stay, they had no security and allowed unrully people to make noise late at night during the holiday weekends. After the 3rd time we decided to leave. Because of this, we didnt feel safe staying as we did the months before.

Beautifully maintained RV resort. They’re very friendly and accommodating. Had a breakdown on our truck which forced us to stay a couple extra nights and they worked it out for us even though the park was near capacity. We’ve been stopping there for 15 years to visit family and will always continue to use them.

Hands down the best RV resort I’ve stayed at. The best part about this place is the sheer upkeep and the profound customer service. Adam, the manager was so nice to my husband and my children. He gave us so much information about the resort and the area and honestly made me feel like I was at home. I never write a review at all, but Adam deserves this and he even gave recommendations on other locations within Sunland brand! With all the craziness going on with Corona, his team goes above and beyond to provide us with a clean atmosphere. P.S. I love our neighbors and the dog park!!!

Had to leave a day early. Adam refunded us no problem, even though it is not their regular practice to do so. Very lush and quiet RV park. It connects to a good-sized park if you have dogs to walk, or grandkids.

Well, it was fairly clean, not in good location. Right off the 15 freeway, too noisy. Very small pool. Large fenced dog park, no grass, just dirt! Not good for my dogs. We took our dogs to park next door or front lawn. I would not recommend nor return.

Cool place every one just minds their own, which is important one of the reasons of living in a RV park plus its homie like which is nice when you need that no matter where you go that theirs other people, other good people that want it good too besides you.

This is a must stay RV park! The front desk staff was very nice. They give you a cable box to use (no charge) at check in, and have great wifi connection. All level cement lots. They had a gathering Saturday night with drinks and food for everyone in the park. I dont know if its because its a holiday weekend or if they do this all the time. It was really nice to visit with everyone at the park. They have a great dog park, lots of running room. The entire park is very clean and they have rose bushes thru the entire park... It smells wonderful. We will definitely stop here again.

A hidden gem for sure! Very clean and kept up, full hook-ups, friendly and helpful staff... If youre bothered by the sound of the freeway that could possibly be the only negative. It wasnt that bad at all. I would definitely go back.

We love Escondido RV Resort mostly because of its location. Only 2-3 miles from our daughter and grandson. Also located to San Diego and all the amenities the area has to offer. The park is always well maintained and very pet friendly. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Great quiet rv park. Pool is VERY small and usually filled small kids. My teenagers only visited the pool once when it wasnt full of kids. Been here a few times planning on going back

I dont do many reviews but when I do its because someone has really gone above and beyond and very much out of their way to be kind, respectful, welcoming and make you feel part of the company/community. This review is after our 2nd stay with Escondido RV Resort probably at least 6 months apart.The first trip happened to be close to Thanksgiving. We were just getting settled in and getting ready for our first nights dinner and we got an email from Adam to come on down for a complimentary Thanksgiving community dinner/potluck and refreshments. We explained we were not prepared but he asked us to come anyway. Adam had purchased a variety of drinks we were welcomed to and long term residence came in with many different amazing dishes. All of them were very friendly and welcoming even though we were not regulars. This alone earned the 5 stars for me and a second trip and many more to come. We have been across the US and find it hard pressed to remember someone going so far out of their way to be great at their job! Adam is an amazing asset to the SUNLAND Brand!Our second trip was just as pleasurable. Now living in our RV but needing to get a change of scenery we had a few questions/concerns about RVing post covid lock down orders. This resort goes out of their way to be clean, follow protocols and keeping things safe for those with concerns. I love rewarding resorts that first look to take care of every customer that walks through that door and this is the high standard you feel from Adam and his team when you enter Escondido RV Resort. Thank you guys again for a job well done, we will be back soon!!

Looks very nice. Spaces are very close, though.

This was our second time at Escondido RV Resort. The first time we stayed in an upper level site. This time we were in a lower level site. Upper level sites are roomy with nice vegetation. Lower level sites are significantly tighter with less vegetation but are closer to showers, laundry, bathrooms, and other facilities. Park is clean and well maintained...also pet friendly. Management is friendly and we found very responsive to requests for departure date change and providing parking space for our tow vehicle. Noise from I-15 is significant but maybe less in parts of upper level. Wifi was essentially useless and I had to go to nearby Starbucks to use internet for work purposes. Cable TV requires an add-on box provided by the resort; however, TVs in our rig are built in so could not use box. We will definitely stay here again but will choose an upper level site.

The place is gorgeous! The grounds are immaculately maintained. However the best part of this resort is the manager, Adam. He made our stay special, what a true professional.

We just came off of an extended stay at the Escondido RV Resort and it was so hard to leave!!! We really enjoyed everything about the place. It is very clear that much pride is taken in this rv park - the grounds are so clean and well maintained and the staff is so nice and welcoming (shot out to Mr. Jeff and Leanne in the front office) making it such a pleasant place to stay! We were there about 8 months and never once experienced any issues with electricity or water. On top of everything else, there is a very nice security guard that periodically patrols through out the night. The place already felt pretty secure but that made us feel even better! There is a nice little city park that is next door to the park. Its not a part of the park but there is a very convenient gate (that you access via key code) to get access to the park. If you do stay here, reserve as soon as possible as we did see this place fill up often (especially around holidays). We definitely plan to stay here again whenever were passing through the area!

Nice clean place

This is our 2nd time staying here and we love it! We take walks up to the beautiful park and love that it is close to everything, the grounds and facilities are immaculate and dont get me started on the staff! Everyone from the management and front desk to the maintenance crew are all top notch! Jeff and his staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We really appreciate how they keep the resort and grounds beautiful and clean. Love the fresh coffee every morning too! They really make you feel like family. We are coming back for three months at the end of the year....we love it that much!

Tight and slightly expensive sites but all the sites are nice level concrete. The staff is friendly and helpful. I really liked the huge area with a splash pad for the dog run. Conveniently located to everything you need or want to do. I would return

The park was very nicely landscaped and maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. Nice level concrete sites. Clean, recently updated restroom.I only gave a four star rating because of the proximity to I-15. There was constant traffic noise, requiring air conditioning at night, when the cool night air would have been pleasant.I offer the following criticism more as information for anyone considering staying here, rather than as a reason for giving a lower rating. The sites are small, making use of awnings possible, but a bit cramped. You have to be sure to get as far over to one side of the pad to allow enough room on the door side for the awning and chairs. I dont have a slide-out, so that wasnt an issue.There is only one restroom/shower facility with one urinal, two stalls, and three (?) showers (one handicapped accessible). There is also a restroom in the clubhouse building. I gather most campers use their own restroom/shower facilities, so this is no problem. The high rent district is far away from the one amenities building with the clubhouse, pool/hot tub, and restrooms.The photo of the pool on the website makes it look larger than it actually is. Since it wasnt used by many guests, this wasnt a problem, during the week. Its capacity is 19. The hot tub capacity is 5. The jets are very nice, and its hot, as one would expect.There is an area in the high rent district with a gas grill and picnic table(s?). There is a grill in the pool area, along with tables, chairs, and lounge chairs. The sites do not have picnic tables, grills, fire rings, etc., like parks that are in more remote areas.Again, I enjoyed the park, but felt this information might be helpful to anyone deciding whether or not to stay here.

Im a single woman that is new to the RV lifestyle. This is the first park that Ive had the pleasure to stay at since buying a brand new 31 ft trailer. Jeff the manager has gone above and beyond to help me when I need it or to advise and educate me on the RVing experience. I have found in this park that there are many wonderful people willing to help when needed. This park is a comfortable safe enjoyable place whether short or long term stays. During my stay I have seen many upgrades and improvements. The management is trying very hard to make this resort beautiful, and hopefully meets the needs and enjoyment of all its residents.

Escondido RV Resort is truly a Gem in the Escondido area. The resort is a reflection of Jeff the manager. Staff is always friendly and helpful, grounds are well manicured and immaculate. Continually making improvements to the park to enhance the guest experience. Great location to enjoy San Diego and the outlying areas. We always look forward to our return visits to such a wonderful resort.Keep up the Great Work.

Very nice park though the roads are a bit narrow and some people don’t seem to understand that they need to keep their cars off the roads and in their spaces. Have stayed here before, and would definitely stay here again.

So clean and secure! Leon the security officer is awesome, tireless in his mission to keep this park drama free. Hes always got a pleasant disposition, but dont let that fool you - hes like the Chuck Norris of our little community. The maintenance people work very hard and keep it really clean and pretty. Jeff is a great manager, always extremely friendly while running a tight ship. The office staff are pleasant, there are rules and they are enforced, but not overly. Overall this RV resort is a really wonderful find in a great location, lots of amenities like a dog park, pool, clubhouse, upgraded laundry room, and large clean bathroom / shower facilities. Youll be pleasantly surprised at how fun your stay is.

Super clean and staff was great. Sites were a bit tight for my 32 ft rig in lower area. Upper area sites were much bigger and would recommend for rigs my size.

We were passing through and decided to stay out in Escondido a few nights and came across this jem of a place. Jeff was a great help and was able to get us a spot at such a late notice. I must say this place is very clean and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

Right off the 76 - spaces are level and close together. It gets HOT as hades there in the summer. Good electricity and sewage removal

This is probably the best RV resort we have stayed at. Friendly, beautifully landscaped, heated pool and hot tub plus close to anything you might need.

3 month stay. Excellent urban park. In many ways, best park in the county.Plusses : EXCELLENT management and landscaping. Safe. My neighbors are good. City Park next door with private gate. Central location, close to freeway and services.Minuses: If you are not familiar with urban coastal California, you may be shocked at the price, the freeway noise, and how close the spots are to each other.

Rabbit feces covers the pad between the door and our truck each morning. I mean covers it.Asked to have it cleaned three times, they cleaned it once and told me Im expected to clean it each day if I dont want to step in it.Electrical rates are almost $1 per kwh, the site is expensive and amenities are a small pool, jacuzzi, bathroom, and laundry room.Next time we will skip San Diego or find a better place to stay.

Usually a great place. Im sure it will be great once they finish the upgrades to the pool and laundry room. Im slightly upset that Ive been there three years and these upgrades are probably what all the price hikes were going to. I will say that the place seems to be on track and Id definitely stay again short term. The monthly rate is a bit much especially since the amenities are non existent.

I cant review the park however the customer service was poorly managed. It started out well with being able to move a few RVs to get in which was greatly appreciated. However, the rep failed to mention electricity would be charged until the end in which I asked if I could call back after discussing with my husband. She stated there was a sister park 1 hour away and I replied it was too far. She continued to tell me it was cheaper and that they have availability, completely ignoring the fact that I mentioned again it was too far away. At this point, I hung up because it was not worth the argument.Then I received an email with multiple reservations! When I called back another rep was able to work everything out and was helpful.

Very nice urban RV park. Heated pool and spa, bathrooms recently remodeled and are beautiful. Laundry with many newer washer and dryers. Staff was always friendly and offered advice on restaurants to visit and other points of interest. Ice cream social on Sunday. Beautiful landscaping on all sites. Upper sites have next to no noise from the freeway, lower sites you can hear the freeway but not excessive. There is a beautiful city park next to the upper sites with gated access so that the RV campers can use the park but no one from the park can enter the RV park. Sites are a little narrow but not unexpected in an urban area. Had no problem backing our 40 foot fifth wheel into the space or maneuvering the roads.

Crowded and very noisy. Location good for us, park is clean, but adjacent to freeway. Construction workers living in park wake you up really early with diesel trucks.

This is a terrific RV Resort. Easy access, great staff, and all amenities included. Very clean grounds, secure, and lots of extra services provided really made our stay easy.

Nice clean place but very tight quarters. Larger coaches appear to be in the upper tier. Took quite a bit of maneuvering to get in place. Didnt use the pool but everything looked clean and in place. Very friendly people but every time we stop at the desk even for a quick question it takes forever. Only 2 or 3 spots to park at the office so people just park in the middle of the road stopping all traffic in and out.

Really nice resort,very large pull threws,very nice staff,they waited after hours to check us in,we were put in a stall in the upper part of the resort,,my brand new A class fit in with all of the other units,our spot even had a tree...the only thing I would have wished they would of had was a picnic bench and a couple of chairs on the RV site

Nice club house and pool. Clean restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Spots are tight, very little room for 2 vehicles and parking for those is extra. Close to shopping and the freeway. Does have a dog park.

This place is like an actual upscale neighborhood, you wont find a cigarette butt on the ground, nice quiet neighbors, friendly atmosphere and palm trees throughout, a really great place to live or visit

This is a beautiful park, clean and in a great location. The staff are very nice. The showers are top notch, the laundry is nice and not too expensive. The pool and hot tub are small but nice. The landscaping is beautiful but it makes the spaces very narrow. Even in the nicer spaces on the top level, it is tight to open your awning. If you want plenty of room, ask for the MOST expensive spaces on the top level. The WiFi works well. We used our Dish in the Front but used the cable in the bedroom and it was fine. The down side are the permanent residents, their children and their vehicles in rented spots. The office does not stay open all of the hours that are advertised. You can hear the freeway but I did not find it a problem. There is not a better park that we could find, anywhere near. We would return to Escondido RV Park.

Nicely landscaped park. We had a spacious back in site in the upper lot. Pool is small but we enjoyed it.

Besides the electricity bill being hard to read. The place is very clean and th staff is so friendly! They make you feel like you are at home there. Showers were great too! At first I thought the pool was to small but its perfect and a hot tub right there that they take care of all day long! Great environment! Loved it! Wife wanted to live there forever

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Clean facilities and nice pool/grounds. We did expect larger sites with more room between rvs based on description and pictures. We were unable to pull awnings out even in one of the larger sites. We have a larger rig, so space is a necessity. I did call ahead to make sure we would fit. While we did fit into the space and through the park as told, I would not have stayed if we truly knew how tight the spaces were. If you are going for an urban RV park, this is a great place. For larger rigs,kids who like to ride bikes, and those that like to grill and spend time at their site outside the rig, you should look elsewhere.

Location is great, close to major north county freeway. The RV park is pretty spacious and got plenty of amenity.

This place was very nice and chill few years before. long term Rv-ers are allowed to stay full time with reasonable rate, staff was very friendly and relaxed. It was a great location and great little community until the new management took place. they raised the rent, near $1000 to live on a piece of concrete excluded energy is unacceptable, the new management is rude and harassing people for different minor reasons. they also got rid of 90%of full timers so that they thought they will make the place profitable, which in summer more than 70% of the sites are empty. I wont recommend this place for now based on all above facts. near freeway is loud and rent is high for rv park.

Nice place to stop, right off the freeway, spots for an RV may be a little tight but they are made very nice, plenty of room for your RV and a car to park infront of it.

A bit tight in spot #71. Narrow. However park is very nicely landscaped, layer out and well maintained. We did not try WiFi or cable tv. Maybe a bit pricey at $70 +tax or maybe not Im a bit out of the loop on cost as we tend to dry camp and stay parks under $60.

This place has everything, every hookup, the staff are amazingly helpful and kind!! We will come back for sure.

This place was wonderful until the new manager, Jim N., started here about 3 months ago. Since then, Ive witnessed borderline racism towards Hispanic staff, abusive language towards staff, AS WELL as tenants. He has implemented rent increases with no justification, and had created an EXTREMELY tense environment here. I would implore anyone considering this place to look at recent yelp reviews, as well as the reviews here. He IS NOT a person that should represent any tenement of any kind, and is more reminiscent of a slum lords heavy hitter. I dont have a CLUE why the corporate office would have him here. You should go around asking the tenants what they think of him before considering a stay here.

Almost all their spots are made so you have to back in over your right shoulder on your blind spot. a couple of the sites are nice but then theres the I-15 freeway that youre right next to. Its a Sunland corporation resort so they have the bucks to put in nice landscaping. its the only rv park in Escondido and close to the safari park.

I have been living here for almost a year and never had a problem till a wonderful manager decided to get another job. Theres two new staff who constantly leave notes on your doors. And of course boosted up the price of the the spot. Since the new manager I have been in debt to them every month and they OWE me money Every month. Its been a constant battle! It seems like politics kinda place now. The more money in their pocket the better. They owe me $70.It is very hard to manuever and get into any spot!No landscaping on the bottom level.There has been no changes to the place so why the increase with the spot. On yelp he tells me the increase is because of the Times. A $1000 for a cement slab! We live this way to not throw away our hard earned money on rent. Thanks Jim for not making this place better! Just jacking up the rent wothout any promises! We are getting even this month. Your not getting a dime extra! Four months in a row hes over charged me!

Very clean, space is tight but nicely kept

The Park was OK, the showers an pool was nice clean. I was dissapointed in not getting any cable TV. They have COXnet digital, however dont have enough mini boxes to go around. You cant even use a new TV with a QAM tuner. COX encripted even the basic channels.

Ok but the restrooms are to cold.
