Not much to see here. If you want a moderate, vegetation heavy hike thru the woods, then this hike is for you. If you are looking forward to a scenic view once you summit the trail, sadly you will be very disappointed. No such view exists. Nice winding trail thru dense woods nonetheless, although if you choose to come down via the steep grade of the gravel road your better off walking backwards to save your calves or simply jump back on the woodsy trail. Much More scenic hikes available nearby. Choose one of them instead.

I almost died trying to get to the top (noobie). Great exercise but the top doesnt have a great view, the view is blocked by trees. One of the locals told me there is a great view of Mt. Rainer if I take a different route down but I didnt try it because my car was towards a different direction. On the way down the road forks so you better know where you came from or you will end up on the other side of the mountain. This hike was great to enjoy nature and work up an appetite for waffles when I get home. :-)

If your looking for an easy walking trail, the back side of Mount Peak is for you! Also, if youre looking for a great run, start at the parking lot and head to the top.• Gravel Road + Trails are in great condition.• Friendly people (for the most part).• Dog friendly.• Parking lot is spacious and well kept -- if the weather is sunny the parking lot can get 90% full! The trails are clean, but please pack out your trash!

The best set of hour long trails through scenic views and amazing vistas you can find. Gain 1,100 feet in elevation to about 1,800 total height above sea level in this 2.2 mile hike on a steeper north side trails or enjoy the south side that is 3.3 miles but offers areas of relief that help you catch your breath along the way. So whether you want short and steep or longer and a bit more gradual, Pinnacle Peak has it all for enthusiastic and experienced hikers alike.

There are a number of hikes at Pinnacle Peak Park. The main hike from the south side is the easiest, with a graded, gravel road taking you most of the way to the top. On a clear day the views of Rainier would be fantastic. The hike on the north side is a killer, make sure you have the fitness level before attempting.

This is not a moderate trail. Though we may have gotten lnto another trail since there were not many signs to guide you and there is minimal reception up there.

Great hiking location without the long drive. There are multiple trails to choose from, with some trails more challenging than others. There are multiple areas throughout the trails to get a great view. Once you reach the peak, the view is a bit disappointing, but still rewarding.

The hike isnt very exciting to start with- mostly a hike up a gravel road. Maybe there are other paths off to the side that we were unaware of. Once in the woods, towards the top, it is very beautiful.

I love hiking up Pinnacle Peak because its right in my back yard and I can be hiking within 10 minutes of leaving my house. With a roughly 1000 ft gain and two trailheads, this place is a perfect place to unwind after a long day at the office.
