The gondolas run daily during the summer. On Saturday it runs until 9:30pm so you are able to watch an amazing sunset. The cars are easy to get on and take you up 2400 elevation feet. At the summit, there is a restaurant, a cafe/bar, restrooms and lots outdoor seating. This is definitely a myst do. Our trip on Saturday at 6:45pm for 2 cost us $68. Our 2 dogs were able to go up free.

It was beautiful, I enjoyed the experience, it was my first time to ride in a gondola , the scenes were amazing, breathtaking specially when you’re going up. You can go up and stay as much time as you want, there are hiking trails on top the mountain, a market and a nice restaurant. Price are reasonably more expensive but a once upon a time experience, I had a burger at almost 6700 ft above see level.The last trip down is 5:30 pm, that means you can’t stay after that which is good enough.

Hiked up and took gondola down. Hike was beautiful and a good workout. View at the top is unbeatable. Restaurant at the top is overpriced and ladybugs kept trying to land in our food. Definitely worth the experience! Will do it again.

The gondola ride is really neat! My family enjoyed the ride itself and the area at the top to look around and take pictures. Unfortunately wild fires were causing lots of haze during our trip so the view wasnt 100% but still worth the visit. And the chipmunks are adorable! :-)

It was an amazing experience. The moment when you get down from gondola and getting view of grand mount rainier was awesome.

A must do for anyone who is visiting the Puget sound region or just a quick get away for you and a special friend, lots of different dining options also.

Worst guest services I have ever experienced. My credit card was charged for a 2 person tram purchase online, I never received a confirmation Two days later, I discovered a charge on my credit card. I called and asked for my account to be credited, the rep said she didn’t know if I was lying. I made 2 calls over 3 days and was hung up on after the second call.

Beautiful! Be prepared to hike if you want to do anything other than stare at Mt. Rainier. However, you CANT beat the view!

The views from the top cant be described with words, and rarely can be captured by visuals. I think its worth the $ for the journey!

Gandola finally in WA state. I loved the Gandola in last summer along with my family. You can take the stroller inside the Gandola which is very nice so you dont have to worry about carrying your baby (if you have one ;)). My elder daughter enjoyed it as well. The views are great and the restaurant on the top is nice along with a lot of trails to enjoy. We couldnt do the trails as we have a baby. We will return again next Summer to enjoy it. Sadly couldnt do in the winter. I surely recommend it to everyone.

The Mt. Rainier Gondola, open June 18th thru September 16th for the summer season of 2018. The gondola rides will be offered again during ski season November – April. The scenic gondola rides last approximately 10-minutes. Enjoy stunning views of Mt. Rainier and the surrounding Cascade Mountains. Eat at Washington’s highest restaurant, the Summit House. It serves Northwest cuisine in an alpine setting with incredible views!

The gondola ride is really nice and beautiful, only downside is that there isnt much to do at the top unless you do one of the hikes. Theres a small platform like area at the top along with the restaurant and thats about it. I did part of a hike from the top and the views were really nice though!

Its a white knuckle ride but very safe and quite a thrill!

The 10 minute gondola trip takes us up to the Crystal summit. Gives a wonderful view of Mt. Rainier. There are walking trails though its actually a sking spot. Dogs are allowed on the gondola. Theres a restaurant at the peak.
