We stayed in Unit 12 at Pearl Beach Inn for our 5th Wedding Anniversary and our stay was wonderful. If you love the beach and are looking to unwind and unplug, this is your spot. Staying at the Pearl is like having your own private beach. It is a peaceful little slice of heaven. The only note I will make is that you can not do any laundry at The Pearl, you have to go into town and find a laundromat so you might want to pack accordingly. This was our first stay, but it will definitely not be the last.

Perfect location. Very clean, spacious. Comfortable bed and sofas. AC worked well. Large kitchen with plenty of cooking implements. The only thing missing was an oven mitt, but we made do with a towel. It mightve been there but were couldnt find it. The beach was filled with sharks teeth and not a soul around. I wish we couldve stayed longer, but well be back.

Our stay at the Pearl Inn was wonderful....on the first night from dinning out I discovered that I had left the door key locked in our room...no problem. Just a call and we were back in our room and this was after hours and the staff were so understanding...the Pearl Inn was neat and very clean. This little piece of Paradise is well maintained..I would not hesitate to recommend the Pearl Inn to anyone looking at staying a peaceful weekend or more along this beautiful GulfCoastline....Frederick

Our family vacation spot. We go every year. Beautiful beach lots of sharks teeth. Rooms 4 and 5 have the best views. Cozy and comfortable. Staff is always very helpful. This is were the locals go to get away from the hustle and bustle.Updated 06/22/20: Another wonderful stay again. This time for a week. Every year I bring more family members. This year our daughter and her family, and my mother and father came. They fell in love with this place. If you want to go were the locals go to relax this is the place. There are hundreds of other places we could stay, but this is the only one for us. Beautiful beach! Wonderful people and cozy accommodations.

Very nice and clean.The people running it could use some manner in dealing with people. Be nicer when dealing with the public. Word of mouth goes a long way around here.

My family and I have stayed here 3 times and each time we dont want to leave. I almost dont want to share this place with anyone else. We find lots of shark teeth, get to watch sea turtles lay eggs and most of the time have the beach all to ourselves. It really is a hidden paradise.

Small and quiet. Beautiful private beach. We stayed for 4 nights and our 12 year old spent hours looking for shark teeth. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get away from the crowds.

Loud construction literally one foot outside the window of the suite we were staying in, including power saws, drills, hammering. Starting at 8AM and lasted all day. Would have been nice to be able to take a nap or sleep in on our vacation. Made the front desk aware and they said sorry nothing we can do about it. We closed the other room that it was close to. I guess that meant they didnt want to lose the income of both rooms?? Nothing on their website about construction at all. Very disappointed!

The pearl beach in is located in a beautiful location. We had the beach to ourselves minus the other guests that were in the hotel. The sharks teeth were plentiful and the water was crystal clear. The property is very cute and felt very beachy! The property also provides sand sifters and theres a closet of other items that guests have left behind for your use!We stayed in the Atlantis room and upon our arrival, the latch for the room had been accidentally locked upon shutting the door so we had to wait for a locksmith to come, which didnt take too long and get us into the room. No biggie. Upon entering, We noticed it was very hot. The thermostat was set to 77 and the air conditioner was struggling to keep up. We only tried to set it down two degrees as we didnt want to overwork what appeared to be a 30-year-old unit outside. Unfortunately, the thermostat just kept climbing. When it reached 79 I went to let the office know. They called an air conditioning company which was planning on arriving that evening between 6:00 and 8:00.... Not exactly what I wanted to do paying $250 a night was wait around for an air conditioning person.We decided to cook dinner inside since it was so extremely hot outside and hot inside and nowhere to get a break. As I began to cook chicken in the oven, we lost power to the building. Over the next 2 hours electricity turned on and off at least 15 times. Each time I had to reset the oven and during the electrical issue the air conditioning man had arrived but he couldnt work without electricity either. I called the after-hours number for the hotel management spoke to an agent that said someone would call me. But no one ever did.Unfortunately, the air conditioner is too old to keep up with the Florida heat. He did try his best and got us cooler for the remainder of our trip. Upon removing the air conditioning air filter, it was completely packed and filthy Thank God he changed it. I couldnt imagine breathing that in. We also found that part of the air conditioning duct work was leading into the office, which is directly behind one of the walls of the Atlantis. Theres also an air conditioning vent that leads directly into the office so if you were to go in the closet and open it you could wave to the people in the office... Kind of a safety/privacy issue. The next morning nobody still contacted us or came to check to see if everything was resolved. We were hoping that maybe they would offer us to switch rooms at this point, but again no one apologized for not getting back to us or checking on us.My husband was nervous that the air conditioner was going to break in the middle of the night and we were going to be Stuck in a hot box, so He went to Lowes and bought a portable air conditioning unit. Thankfully, we didnt have to use it and were able to return it after our stay.Back to the actual hotel details, I felt that the room was clean. The only thing I noticed was that all of the blinds were extremely dusty and the ones in the kitchen were not only dusty but had food caked on them. Due to corona virus I brought my own Lysol wipes and cleaned everything down myself to be sure. There was also someone elses half eaten box of chips left in the cabinet.We were given four towels, and four beach towels. It was sufficient for four people but there was not enough places to hang them with only two hooks in the unit and they wound up on the floor. We missed the hotel staff to switch out new towels and wound up having to use some spare car towels we had in the trunk. That was our fault because on our last day, We asked for new towels and they happily gave them to us!Overall we had a great time! The property is adorable the beach is right at your feet and its a very quiet and relaxing!! Its unfortunate that we had the mishaps that we did and it would have been nice for the staff to reach out maybe offer a discount or an upgraded room for the inconvenience but no one ever did.

If you are looking for big fancy hotel accommodations, this isnt for you. Thats why this place is perfect. Wake up in the morning and stumble a few steps to the shore. Hardly anyone there, which makes this place feel like you are the only ones there. If you want peace without a resort feel, this is where you want to be.

The Pearl is our most favorite place on earth. We always enjoy our stay and hate to leave. The beach is awesome and the inn is very charming. The owner and manager has always treated us very well. We highly recommend the Pearl!!

Cant beat the location, step out your door and onto the beach ! I like that it was small and private and not too fancy, just what we were looking for!! Also liked that it had a small kitchen. We will definitely be back !!

There are not a lot of restaurants or shops in the immediate area, but we love to bring our own food, grill it up on the deck and watch the sunset. When you are looking for a quiet getaway right on a beautiful beach, Pearl Beach Inn is one of our most favorite spots to stay.

I really can’t say enough great things about this place, but let me try. First - the location. It’s secluded, a quiet beach with a sunset deck with a lovely beach just a few steps from your room. Book suite 4 or 5, the king beachfront room, if you want to be closest to the water. However, every room has a little slice of a view and all are only seconds from the beach. Every morning and night you have the pleasure of watching the pelicans, egrets and other birds. Be careful not to step on the geckos. They have tons!Next the staff. They are kind, friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. They have some great recommendations. The ownership is changing hands tomorrow, so I hope they keep them!The rooms are clean, well decorated and the bed is great! Every room is a good size, with a large closet. The only down side is the pillows are too big. But this is an issue I have with a lot of hotels.A few things to know going in - they have a lock box so you can get in during the wee hours, but the office is only open from 9-5. They don’t proactively provide shampoo and soaps, but you have access to them. They also don’t do daily cleanings (which I love!) unless you request something be cleaned. There are bbqs for you to use and dogs are allowed in some rooms if they are 30 pounds or less. They have chairs and if you get lucky an umbrella to use (they kept one that someone left and lent it to us).This place is truly and amazing gem and affordable!

Beautiful well kept beach resort. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We have vacationed on Manasota Key about a dozen times over the last 25 years and this was our first time staying at The Pearl Beach Inn. Highly recommended.! Secluded resort is in a private beach area one mile from the public beach, Manasota Beach. We had a private balcony/sunset deck on our upstairs efficiency. Only drawback was our balcony/sunset deck had a view of the A/C units on the roof of the lower units. That took away from the incredible sunset views. My advice is go with one of the front two lower level rooms. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and definitely will return in the future.

Wonderful quiet Inn with great staff and amazing location. Its close to everything but far enough away from it to give you a private beach feel. Room was well done in a beach theme and an open feel to it. View to the beach for nearly every room on the property is a great plus. Rooms are offset to add privacy and a secluded feel to your stay. Sunset was great from the sundeck open to all guests as well as multiple patios with grills and accessories for your own private cookout. One stay is definitely not our only stay as we already plan another stay.

The hotel was super clean. They had beach chairs and toys available. Very quiet, beach was nice. A super spot if you like shelling!!

The Pearl is an absolute hidden treasure! Away from all of the crowds and hotels, you basically have the beach yourselves! The staff was warm and friendly! The room was clean and beautiful. Sitting on the deck in the morning watching all the dolphins play was the highlight of the trip! We will absolutely be regulars from now on!

The Pearl Beach Inn is a great place. Just the basics (no pool, restaurant or bar), but who needs those when you have the gulf and so many great places so nearby! The beach is great and it seemed like it was our own. We rarely saw more than a dozen people. Great for shelling, walks, and shark teeth! Our room was very clean, up to date and great for our stay. With the fridge and microwave we were set for breakfast and saved by enjoying our own beverages on the great deck. There are lots of great restaurants nearby to enjoy and beautiful sunsets. Of course, there is also the constant sound of the gulf waves to enjoy as well.

This place never disappoints. Wonderful rooms that are clean, comfy and have a feel like you are at home. The views from the balcony or beach itself are incredible! Grill out on the balcony, place a chair out by the water, or walk along the beach searching for sharks teeth and pretty shells. This place is the ultimate relaxation spot!

This is a great location that is right on the beach. The inn itself is fine, nothing fancy but fine. The mini split a/c struggles to keep cool in the summer. My issue with the inn is that they charge $20 per visitor when they come to visit you! My wife’s family lives 5 minutes away and it was a pure embarrassment when they were told that they had to pay to come visit us.

The location and beach access is great. Unfortunately I cannot reccomend a stay here, as the room was unbearably musty and moldy. There were mold spots visible on the curtains and mold on the floor, causing the room to smell significantly. Refrigerator had grease running down the handle which needed to be cleaned up upon our arrival and the grates inside the refrigerator were rusting. Rust spots were also visible around the shower drain.The Pearl Beach Inn has the opportunity to be a higher end quality boutique inn if the owners would deticate resources to renovating the property. As it stands, at least the room we stayed in felt dirty and generally unhealthy, causing us to cut our stay short.

Beautiful location and great place. We stayed in an efficiency that was perfect for the long weekend. The room had a nice view of the gulf. The beach was very nice and secluded. Only private homes next to the inn, so even with the holiday, we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. We brought a small gas grill, but there are three charcoal grills on the premises with charcoal and lighter fluid provided. The efficiency had a microwave and full sized refrigerator/freezer. There was a small coffee pot too. The room had a large walk in closet that provided a great place to hang bathing suits to dry. Air conditioner worked great on such a hot weekend. Lindy was very pleasant and accomodating.

We had the most amazing time at Pearl Beach Inn in July 2017. You can see the ocean from every room (I think). The rooms are very clean and have fold-out couches; kitchenettes with a refrigerator, microwave, and dishes; and best of all tile floors. The lady that runs Pearl is very friendly and personable. Its my understanding that this is a family-owned business. Its right on the beach and just a few steps from the water. There is a deck with tables and a grill that overlooks the ocean. One of the best parts was the black fossilized shark teeth that wash up on the beach. Theyre everywhere! We found about 40 one afternoon. You dont even have to walk around for them, if you dont want to. You can sit in a chair by the water, and theyll wash up on your feet. This is a very quiet place without many people on the beach. We only saw about a dozen people go by all day. Another amazing thing is that there were turtle nests that hatched out while we were there. We didnt stay up late to see them, but the family next to us did. While it didnt need it when we were there, its been remodeled, probably due to the hurricane. We definitely plan on returning because this was one of the best vacations weve ever had.

Perfect location, a little bit of paradise

What an absolute gem this place is. I’ve been to Florida hundreds of times and have never seen a beach this beautiful. The rooms are safe, clean, spacious, and have amazing views. The staff care about their guests, especially when protecting everyones privacy. Lastly, they thought of everything you could think of from bottle openers to free WiFi, to hair dryers, to pots/pans etc. I will definitely go back, especially when I’m looking to disconnect and enjoy the amazing sunsets.

The lady that runs the place is super nice. The rooms are good sized. Its like staying in a house. If you get a bottom floor you can hear everything thats going on upstairs. The bathroom is small. Other than that I really have no complaints. You can find shark teeth on the beach hear.The bigger shark teeth we found we went south of the hotel by the rocks and had to sift the sand.

This is a very peaceful experience from check in to check out. Perfect for a family one on one get away when privacy is what you desire. This is a resident area with very few people on the b act at any given time !!!! Great time looking for shark teeth, shells, and even quaint local shopping. Laundry facility on site make returning home not so stressful with children. Great time! Prolly no bad views but haven’t been in all 15? Rooms.

I recently got married on the beach and stayed at the Pearl Beach Inn and it was nothing short of perfect. Inside & out, its my favorite place to visit and we plan to come back for our anniversary and for more vacations!

Cant say enough about this place! Great beach, great staff and a wonderful old Florida beach feeling. Our room over looked the beach and it had everything you needed just bring your clothes and food if you wanted or there are great restaurants 10 min away with a very pretty drive. Found so many sharks teeth walking and snorkeling. Lindy in the office made us feel like family from the moment we walked in! Cant wait to come back here !

Weve always loved this place in the past, but renovations are badly needed. Great location, and the staff tried to help with issues, but couldnt. The bath tub didnt work only the shower, dirty bandaid found next to plates?!, and the Wi-Fi seemed To work everywhere around the building except in our unit sandollar 2. I work from my phone so this was a huge inconvenience. I asked to switch rooms which we could have but then wouldnt have had ocean view. The beds are super comfortable here. I should have checked these things before we comitted to stay I guess.. lesson learned. Its a shame because we really liked this place but for the price.. we will be going to the seafarer up the street next time which also has a pool, and a stove range. The beach is more busy, but we will just venture a little further down.

Weve stayed there four times now. Fabulous place if youre looking for a small Inn that is quiet and private. As close to the gulf as you can get. Beach is never busy. Rooms fill up quickly so call early when in season. Great staff, Lindy is A++.

The Pearl Beach Inn is on the gulf with sandy beaches as far as the eye can see in both directions. The owners and staff are friendly and the inn is clean and comfortable. We would have loved to stay longer than the single day we did.

Absolutely love Pearl Beach. Its right on the beach. Some rooms overlook the ocean. Rooms are perfect and come in different sizes to accommodate whatever your needs may be. The staff are wonderful, its always clean and beautiful!! Lindy is the best!!! I have stayed here several years now and look forward to coming again next year!!

We had such a wonderful 3 day stay! The beach was AMAZING with no crowds. Our own private getaway. Spent the days lounging on the deck, splashing in the surf, admiring the pelicans and watching dolphins play. The room was clean & cozy, Robert, the manager was friendly, helpful and made our stay feel like we were visiting with old friends. We are definitely going back! If you like a lot of activities, bars this isnt the place, but if you want a serene, beautiful place for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation, this is the must go to spot!

This little Hotel was awesome. I was travelling from CT and of course my flight was delayed due to weather. I got to The Pearl Beach Inn way after check in, however I had already notified them that I would be late. I retrieved my room key and went to my room. Literally steps away from the beach. Room was adorable, king bed, couch, refrigerator, microwave, roomy bathroom, huge closet to keep cloths and suitcases. Would and will definitely stay here again. Watching the sunset from right on the beach steps from the room was just fabulous.

The location is spot on cant get any closer to the beach if you tried. Also the room are great best views on the island. But the service is the best they will go over and beyond to make sure your visit is the best.

A friend and I stayed at the Pearl Beach Inn for two nights in March 2018. This is a great place for just kicking back and walking on the beach and for sitting on the patio to watch the pelicans dive while the sun sets. We were in unit 9 which probably has the poorest view of any of the units but it was still ok.

They provide some beach chairs. And umbrella seating on the decby the shore. Quiet. Big rooms. Bed is comfy and so is the futon. The ac is great

I have traveled to some really nice places in the World, this place is just gorgeous. LITERALLY on the water, very private and the sunsets and sunrises on the deck are to die for. I like that its secluded from the busy city, absolutely perfect for a getaway.

My hubby and I enjoyed our stay on the second floor mainly due to the location; however, the overall atmosphere and dated furnishings leave the experience lacking -- especially for the price.

This is a little hidden gem. Wake up right on the beach and walk the early morning beach and locate your very own sharks teeth, watch some of the most amazing sunsets. This is where I had my beach wedding and honeymoon. The staff is like Family and the Inn itself is in the middle of Manasota Key, little drive to everything.

Not sure what is better, locations, place or staff! They go above and beyond. Best beach in the area and they live our furry family member!!! They are def the best!!!
