Great value but run down . clean and needs to renovate . caution . the inlet side you will hear the restaurant bands from 5pm to 11 pm EVERY night . nice size rooms . old kitchen but adequate had a lot of dinnerware and pots. small counter space . NO Elevators!!!! Every room is 1 . 2. 3 stories up . great location to 5 restaurants and beach is be some rooms or directly across street . 5 star location . 3 stars rooms. 5 stars the help . adequate parking and 5-10 minutes from public . MC Donald and CVS Wal-Marts .

Great place for recreation or just relaxing. Beautiful views and friendly people. Enjoy coming each year and not enough time.Sunrises in the morning out our balcony sunsets off the beach. Awesome to see dolphins swimming right off the docks.Docks right there for your boats, rent boats nearby, kayaking, jet ski, cruises, and lots of fishing.Love Englewood Beach and Yacht Club

1, 2 and 3 bedroom units available on both the Gulf coast and inner coastal.A lot to keep you busy. Pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, outdoor grills, bicycles and 5 bar restaurants within walking distance.Great place to relax and enjoy yourself.

Just enjoyed our first year & it was just beautiful! Everyone was just so nice& friendly. We felt very safe, & our room was really nice, we couldnt have been more satisfied. We had perfect weather on top of that! Just a great time, cant wait for next year!

I enjoyed my stay here. I met with old friends and enjoyed their company and the the town of Englewood. The local restaurants and shops were very good.

Very nice people, full access to bay and Gulf, shark teeth, free access to island, good food shopping, nice clean room, washers and dryers on site, boat dock, great location, area had everything I needed within 3 miles, close inside-outside bars with live music.

We stayed at Sea Oats and enjoyed our vacation very much. It is close to the Gulf to enjoy and it also has a swimming pool hot tub

A great place to stay, clean and close to all amenities

Very friendly staff, super close to the beach, restaurants, beach yoga and kayaking rentals. The units are a little run down, the WIFI is horrible and people stay at the pool way past the allowed hours and are loud, also there is no elevator which isnt a problem for me but may be for others. The office has free books, movies and bike rentals. You can reserve a dock slip but its first come first serve so if you want to have your pick get there early, there is also a kayak launch . They have full kitchens and the grocery stores are fairly close. There is a spa, pool, outdoor shower and laundry. For the laundry you have to pay to use the machines, they do provide soap for one load. Overall a great place to stay.

Just arrived. We were told our room was right on the beach,”open your door and you’re on the sandy beach “they said. Turns out all the advertisements and photos are of the 4 rooms on the beach. 90% of the rooms are across a busy road and on the swamp. I turned down half a dozen places in the mangrove swamp so I didn’t have to walk far with my recent back surgery and mother in law with a walker. I can barely walk to the parking lot and down the ramp or stairs out the front door(no sand). I doubt my mother in law will ever make it that far. Surprise they lied and took my money. If they’d been honest upfront and not deceitful I might enjoy my stay, my week on the sand, but no they lied and I get a week on the swamp and a boat dock. So yeah it’s dated and no Taj Mahal, but good enough for a nice stay. Just be forewarned that the beach is like a 1/4 mile walk across a road and nowhere near your room. So save some money and get a place inland on the swamp and drive every day to the beach.

EBYC is a place Im glad not more people know about. The beach isnt crowded, so it is much more relaxing. Youll find a quiet, laid back atmosphere. The bay is off our balcony and the beach is right across the street. They have bayfront and beachfront rooms.The rooms, pool and balcony are clean and the people are friendly. My 3 year old is loving it, very kid friendly. I still have a week here and I already cant wait to come back.

It looked like a lovely beach. But the ride tide issue dampered everything. It smelled like a fish market. When I walked on to the beach there were dead fish everywhere. Small ones and fish larger than my forearm. It was disgusting. The beach looked lovely but the red tide is a mood killer..despite the awful smell people were actually sun bathing

I love this place! It reminds me of Old Englewood. Very peaceful, great pool, great view, walking distance to lots of food/drink options and super close to the ocean. What more could we ask for??

Rooms are clean, beds are okay, nice scenery, plenty of things to do in the area during the day. Not a great night place since almost everything closes at 10-11pm. But Ive been going here and Sea Oates almost every year the past 15 years, so overall pretty nice.

Great rustic Beach Condo with beach and intercaostal access! Bring your boat or dont, either way you will have a great time!

We just returned from our vacation and we stayed at Englewood Beach & Yacht Club. DO NOT STAY THERE! The place is old and run down. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and all over the shower curtain. The ceiling fans were filthy dirty and the furniture was not just old but worn out. The air condition ran and would not stop unless you shut it off and you couldnt turn the thermostat up only down. I am only giving it one star because the location wasnt bad. We rented this through RCI and once again they let us down too.

Our family has been visiting there for 30+ years and hope we can do another 30!

My family recently stayed at Englewood Beach & Yacht Club for the week of 4/6/15-4/11/15. Let me list several things that we loved about our stay:1. Great location! We were within walking distance to several restaurants, a convenience store, shops and of course the beach.2. The accommodations at EBYC were wonderful. We stayed on the bay side. Our room overlooked the bay and the two docks that were available to guests for fishing or just sitting and taking in the beauty.3. The beach! We were just a stroll away from the most awesome beach in Florida. Being from that area, I appreciate the fact that there isnt a surf shop on every corner. Its perfect for the family that just wants to relax, lay in the sun and swim in the gorgeous blue water.4. The staff at EBYC were very courteous and helpful. They offered daily events such as yoga, breakfast, lunch and games. The pool and hot tub were a plus for the kids after a day at the beach. We also liked that fact that visitors were welcome and could even get a pass to park onsite and stay for the day.We will definitely recommend EBYC to anyone that inquires about a place to stay in the area. We will also be returning to stay on our next vacation.
