Spacious park with huge trees and some garden plantings. Picnic tables, a gazebo, and a path to the river with views of the dam from the parking lot. We had a picnic!

I love this place I stopped here every time Im on my way to garden valley its peaceful quiet clean relaxing and helps me get back to nature

Alot of grass. Tables and covered picnic tables. Shade all over. Huge trees throughout the park. Fishing below the dam. Clean public restrooms. No dogs allowed is the only bad thing.

My apologies for not including pix of the actual park, nor the Payette River running next to the park. It was a beautiful green park, with lots of shade trees, picnic tables and plenty of parking. Those signs overlook the river and tell you a little bit of the history of the park and dam. The park does not allow pets, however. They are consigned to rocky, brushy patch next to the parking lot. So I was a little disappointed by that. There was some access to the river for fishing, but no clear path was provided. You have to make your way through brush and a small slope to get there. There was no playground for kids, but it would be a great place for a quiet afternoon picnic and get away from the noise of a large crowded community park.

Really good place to have a wedding as long as youre not close to the road part, in the back down by the river would be a better place. or if you have a loud speaker with a good mic you can have it up on the northern side.

Delivered a chair rental for a wedding and of course the grounds are beautiful, the birds are chirping, and the sound sof the river soothing. Such a beautiful place for a wedding, special event, or even just a family picnic.

It was great until the Park police showed up and told us that we had to leave with our dogs because dogs are not allowed in Emmetts parks. We drove all the way from Nampa to meet family in the park and it was too hot to leave them in the car so even though they were leashed they told us to leave.

This is a great little park on the Payette River at the Black Canyon Dam. There are a number of picnic tables and clean restrooms. There are a few trails down to the river and can be fun with kids if you keep a close eye on them.

Nice small park with several picnic areas and nice restrooms. Plentiful shade and my 3 girls loved running around freely. Idaho is amazing!

Not a whole lot to do but definitely a good stop. Has enough areas for pets and kids to play, nice grass and picnic areas. Worth the stop.

Usually stop in just to watch the water over the falls very comfortable Park safe for the children and dogs are allowed.

This park is a beautiful place to have a pic nic or hold a special event. Years ago, I attended a wedding in this park and it was very nice.

Nice quiet clean park with a river and dam. Bathrooms are large and clean. Great views. Barbecue spots. No dogs in main park but there is a set aside area for pet potty breaks.

A very clean and tidy Park. No playground for children, but lots of room and nice grass to run around. You can also walk right to the riverbank. There is a gazebo with a drinking fountain and electricity. I havent tested the electricity, but there are outlets there.
