What a great park! Its huge and well kept with lots of trees and squirrels. Emmett is a great little town with a Mayberry type feel to it and this park goes along with that feel. Dogs are allowed on a leash and theres tennis and basketball courts.

Attended the Emmett Show and Shine car show which is an annual 1 day event. Go early morning for the delicious Lions breakfast and its always cooler in the morning. This is Idahos best car show in the number and variety of cars and there is also a swamp meet. It is free to everyone. The City park is an excellant place to hold this event with its mature trees and large grounds.

Very nice, clean and maintained park. Play area for smaller children and plenty of space for picnics and gathering with nice trees. Interesting public exercise area.

This is a great city park with an excellent playground for little kids complete with slides, swings and sandbox. The rest of the park has barbeque pits, walking paths and tennis courts. Unfortunately, there is no longer a pool, but still a nice park.

Great park nice and big. Went out for the Emmett show and shine 7/18/2020. Great turn out. Majority of spectators keeping distance and masks for Covid 19 lifestyle.

The public restrooms dont have soap so bring hand sanitizer, otherwise this is a great park to go to for picnics, birthdays or even celebrations. There is a brick fire place on site that seems like it could be used to bake pizza with a pizza stone. Or roast hotdogs and marshmallows.

Excellent Day in the park...visited the car show, so cool even cooler was meeting Trixie , Aka Ilene Roth, of RatFink, INC...

Was fun but nothing to do because of covid 19 they shut the play area down

Nice place, but the playground needs some attention and repairs. Bathrooms were available but needed cleaning.

Nice playground, lots of picnic benches, and great people at the Emmett park. Bathrooms are locked in the late evening. Public pool no longer operating but may be scheduled for renovation.

Emmett City Park is a very nice public park area with both shaded and open grass areas. There is plenty of room for events that are sponsored, as well as a private picnic. There is a stage and band-shelter on site as well. Close to downtown Emmett, it is walking distance from other shopping opportunities and leisure walks. The city takes good care of the park, and you will enjoy your time here.

Very well kept. Plenty of shade.

Center of this small town and is used extensively for a variety of events and festivals. Used daily for visiting, lunching, playground, etc. Newly installed exercise stands along the NE side behind the pool area which is waiting to be refurbished for usage. Rock-hiders and hunters use it for frequent Adventure rocks among other areas around town. Large open green area, covered picnic area with BBQs, lots of other picnic tables, covered stage bandstand and plenty of large trees for shade and squirrels.

This is the best city park I have ever visited. About 3/4 of a block, lots of trees and all grass except the kids play areas. Come here for some summer cool!

Nice roomy park with a good play area for the kiddos, ball diamond as well as nice picnicking area that is a bit away from all the boisterous fun. ;) Plenty of shady areas as well. Good family fun park.

Its a nice park that is well kept up. Some people arent as clean as they should be, but Parks and Recreation do a good job of maintaining it in good condition.

Nice shaded park in downtown Emmett!

Would be five stars except there is a fenced off mud hole... Let me play in the dadgummed mudhole!! And can we repaint the tennis courts? the blue Pomeranians are an eye sore. And I cant be on the other side of the park, I dont want to be conned into the cult of 1950s dress clothes. All jokes aside, this is a gorgeous gem for our city just needs a little polishing!

What a great day at the Cherry Festival. Loved the street tacos, cherry pie and ice cream, corn on the cob; tarot reading and multiple shopping choices.

Nice Oktoberfest

This is a lovely park! My kids are 11 and 7 and the play equipment entertained them. Downside? No dogs allowed in play area. Not that our pup likes slides but it would be nice to sit at the benches/ tables with the dog while watching the kids.

I love it here my children love it here especially during the summer when they come here for free lunch.

I love the small town feel of this park, the bandshell, the trees, picnic areas AND the city workers make sure it is clean! Its all wonderful.

Had mainly Chinese. Stuff very few crafts. Car show seem to be better than crafts wont go to cherry festival n÷xt year

Great small town park , lots of space , great for dogs and kids !

We decided to go to the Cherry Festival on the spur of the moment. We did not know that they did not allow dogs to participate in the Cherry Festival or even come on the grounds. We drove from Boise we even paid $5 for parking. To be fair, it does say on their website they dont allow pets. However, this being a non pet friendly event its kind of sad. I dont recommend wasting your time at the Cherry Festival if you have a animal that you like to take around with you. Hopefully these people or organizers can learn from their mistakes and go forward in a positive manner and allow dogs in the future.

We were in the area just to see the facilities in the staff was super helpful to understand that we definitely want to come back and reserve the entire facility for our family.

Quaint city park...85th Cherry Festival.

We came for the cherry festival. It had a lot of vendors and a decent amount of carnival rides and games but it definitely seemed small. It makes sense its a small town sort of shin dig which is part of the charm of Emmett. Wish we could have stayed longer but it was fairly packed and our 3 yr old had a melt down. Looking forward to returning to Emmett soon tho!

Great park. Very clean and perfect for RVs. Family gathers of any kind and playground is always maintained for the kids.. bathrooms clean and stocked. Would like to see changing tables in bathrooms for the parents...

City Park that has a pool what could be better. I love Emmett. Small town great people and community.

Emmett’s largest park boasts of mature trees that shade much of the large park. The playground area has the option of being enclosed (if the gates are closed), and is clean and friendly. There is a sandbox for your littles to dig in (bring your trucks!), swings, and many options for play equipment that will leave the smallest and biggest of your kids happy.There is also a walking/exercise path on the west side of the park, which both my kids and I enjoyed walking and attempting.The Cherry festival takes place here every year but you wouldn’t know it based on the incredible maintenance. Across the street you can view a memorial plaque for soldiers lost in WW2 & 3, as well as a tank! My kids love touching and seeing the real tank up close.Located close to downtown shopping, you won’t regret a visit to Emmett’s largest park!

Lots of shade! Great carnival rides. Cool festival shopping. Lots of food choices, even healthier ones, too. Emmett takes care of their park and the whole community sure comes together to put on great festivals.
