Very scenic trails with plenty of options for those looking for a family walk or hikers looking for a challenge. I spent 3 hours out in the outer loop and on some of the paved trails and I plan to come back soon. A must see in the fall, the trees and grass are gorgeous and the wildlife is very active.

My 19 month old loved the nature play area - we can’t wait to come back in the spring! The trails are also beautiful and a great place to walk.

Really lovely! We visited in early Sept and stuck to the paved trails: the Prairie Loop and Poplar Loop. I find prairies to be incredibly beautiful and I enjoyed this one a lot. The Poplar Trail was shady and cool (at least on a mild day). We saw lots of dragonflies and damselflies and a few Gray Tree Frogs. There were also a lot of different fungi to observe. These two paved trails were well maintained and they had mowed back from the pavement so I would say youd not have to worry about ticks on these paths. Mosquitoes were also not a noticeable problem. The grassy paths didnt look overgrown but I would wear long pants and wear tick repellent if I wanted to hike them. There is a small port-a-john. They meant to offer trail maps to use but they were in a container that let them get soaked with a recent rain. The two trails we were on seemed well marked but we did get turned around at one spot and had to backtrack. We would like to explore this park further.

A sad and very deplorable and UNWELCOMING trail with no directions what so ever, literally the first thing I saw was old men golfing. Constant construction to the point that no one understands wheres a working path from the constant signs of private property. The road is literally dirt with no pavement and its very crusty and uncomfortable to drive on with nasty potholes and bumps and this almost poped my brand new tires. The nasty condition of the road literally destroyed my bike straps and caused for them later on the unpleasant highway for one of them to almost go lose. Literally like a 50 min drive just to see dirt and old men golfing...... I was very hurt sorry Ill pass.

UNPLEASANT and UNWELCOMING experience!I got referred here after a friend told me its fAmIlY fRienDlY and sAfE what a joke! First of all, it took me a few hours to get here! And when i got here, all i saw was old men golfing! I expected a nice trail and beautiful trees with a great sunset! How disappointing! Second of all, when we found the road to the trail, it was dirt and gravel! Way too many potholes and cracks! Whoever paved the road needs some sense knocked into them! Anyways, i couldnt even find the trail! All i saw was private property, its not safe at allllllll! Its secluded and scary! Its definitely a place that people get attacked! I dont think ANYBODY should go here after seeing this, i left right away! Took me another few hours to go home. DONT GO HERE! GO TO A DIFFERENT TRAIL! this is unsafe, not family friendly and a horrendous experience! Ugh! What a waste! I hope those old men lose their golf balls! I know this world is cruel but this trail is even more cruel! Also, i dont consider a hill wHeEl cHair accessabile LOL!

This is a tranquil little park to take a hike, walk, or bike ride in. It is normally pretty quiet and not crowded. Early mornings are the best with the sounds of the wildlife.

The parking lot was easy to find and they even supply doggy-pick-up bags at the entrance of the trail. The trails are plenty, well-maintained, and there’s a choice of paved or grass. The maps are really helpful at most to every trail split. Great little area if you’re looking for a short or long walk/run/bike etc., with or without a doggo!

Good hiking trails with a mix of paved and non paved trails. Hilly terrain the further you go East on the trail system. Groomed cross country skiing trails in the winter. The signage needs improvement. Its almost impossible to figure out the trail name with a sign in between two trails and no arrow to specify which trail the sign is for. Most people Ive talked to get lost in the back Eastern portion of the trail. In places 5 trails will intersect, theres one trail marker and you have no idea which trail its for. Trails are excellent, signage is poor.

Its nice but the bike trail needs maintenance badly as there are many cracks and holes. I am sure people would agree that placing traffic cones is not what people call good maintenance. Also the paved trail is too short to get decent exercise
