Its a beautiful place. The view from the pavilion is amazing. But, like others have mentioned, the walking area around the pond is not very clean, with geese droppings. The bison can be seen from the playground. And Ive read that the playground will be renovated soon, it sure does need to be upgraded. Theres one more little playground.

Beautiful and historic park that is well cared for. I enjoy spending time here pursuing my hobbies.

I love this park! The groundskeepers are so kind and I can see why! So quaint and picturesque. I dont think the people who live around the park know how blessed they are. Take the kids to the petting zoo, have a picnic, beautiful landscape to take photos. I visited every day to walk the 2.0+ miles around the park. Look at the photos! Love it

Why did I wait so long to visit the sprawling gem in my own neighborhood? I knew about the playground and buffalo, but having water features, tennis courts, picnic areas and just tons of beautiful space makes this a welcome retreat.

Love reading my book on the bench in the morning, by the water and all ducks. Great for afternoon walks as well. The animals are fun touch as well.

If you love a place where you can get out and go for a nice quite walk then Lords Park is your place. Nice area to enjoy the walk with your significant other or your kids, with a variety of playgrounds and plenty of animals that the kids would love. The only reason I gave this place a four star is due to the fact that the walking area near the pond is full with animal feces. If the trail would be clean everyone in awhile then it would be a 5 star.

It is beautiful a great place for photos there is a bass boy statue. Ponds to walk around there is even a stable with horses

Pretty nice place. The scenery is beautiful but there are one too many geese droplets on the floor near the river, be carful about that. Also i wouldnt recommend feeding ducks bread but instead bird seeds, freshly picked lettuce, or seedless grapes.

This park has something for everyone. A picnic pavilion, 2 playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, walking paths, lagoons with du ks and geese, and 3 bison, some deer, and a zoo in the summer. My daughter has a blast each time we visit!

Cool place! Has bison, multiple playgrounds, tons of trees, a tennis court, lots of land to wander & explore.

We used to attend family reunions here 65-70 years ago. Its nice to see some things havent changed while somethings have. I need to add the changes were improvements.

A great park in the middle of Elgin. It has a zoo! Seriously you can see bison, elk and deer year roundIt has a natural history museum that costs $2 a person and if your kids are working on their DuPage/Kane Passport it is free for them.Tennis courts, basketball courts, and beautiful lake with a classic pavilion for wedding rentals.There is so much to see and do here, you could spend days.Did I mention there is a pool too? No matter the season this is a great place to spend a day.

Its a zoo park... beautiful

Its a nice place to walk with children, everyone feeds the ducks. Bring whole grain bread, white bread is like feeding them glue. Also the little zoo there is great for the kids.

Visually its a very beautiful Park but the city of Elgin has to invest in cleanup efforts of goose dropping everywhere.

Lords Park is Very Beautiful & Very Big. Where many, many people enjoy a morning/ evening or even during the day walk, jog, run in the Sunshine. Enjoying the Sunrise and the Sunset. Lots of people celebrate their birthdays, anniversaries and other occasions in this Park. The kids enjoys playing here. It a very nice park to spend a day outdoors. ♡☆☆☆☆☆♡

Lots of cool stuff to do there! 2 very good playground areas, places to cook out. A lot of options for going for walks or jogging. Never been to the pool, but it looks very fun as well.

The kids loved the park. Be careful in the summer months as the surface of the equipment gets very hot. The zoo was a little disappointing but, we mostly went for the park and museum so not bad.

Beautiful park, a hidden gem tucked away in Elgin. Luckily for me, its right down the street! We love walking around the scenic park, checking out the buffalo, and playing in the park!

Interesting zoo for viewing, along with a small museum, walking and biking opportunities, play grounds, small water park, and pokemon go stoos and gyms.

Really chill place to being the kids. Has a little bit of everything.

Don’t feed the ducks bread feed them nutrient dense food like lettuce chopped or seedless grape sliced, peas corn and oats are also great as well as any type of birdseed.

Nice and relaxing time

The park is pretty big with a tennis court, basketball court, pavilions and a playground. The park also contains a bison zoo and a museum as well. I enjoyed seeing the gentle bisons up close and learning about bisons at the museum!

Lords Park is simply beautiful. It has everything local area families can ask for as well as visitors to the east side of Elgin. A beautiful and tranquil setting and just wait till you swim in the fabulous pool. You can easily spend an entire day and thoroughly enjoy your experience. I love Lords Park. So will you

Great free park and zoo. The bison, elk, and deer are a favorite of my kids. There is a great playground and the public museum here as well. An all around great place.

I’ve been coming here as long as I can remember. I recently discovered how many turtles are here! And I cannot stop coming. The park is so big just walking around the whole thing you can get a good workout they have lots of things to do you won’t regret your visit

Great family fun or a nice place for a picnic or just walk around the lagoons you can feed these small animals in the zoo or the deer the Bison in the spring they also have a petting zoo for the children ice skating in the winter and many activities there is a big Museum on the property with all artifacts from Elgin.

Clean and relaxing

This is a nice park to walk around. Depending on the weather, you can see some animals in a mini zoo outside, including very pretty buffalos! In the summer there are also farm animals. And near the ponds in the park there are lots of geese and ducks hanging around. (watch where you are stepping!) During nicer weather, lots of people come here on weekends for cookouts and gatherings. There are tennis courts and basketball courts too.

Lords Park is a BEAUTIFUL park... perfect place to go when you need a breather. I love the landscape! Lords park also has a mini zoo as well as a water park

Great park for bringing the kids to play, walk and visit the animals that they have there. Its also a beautiful park to take professional pictures.

Great place but closing the whole park at 5 during summer is sad. 8 -830 still plenty daylight....i can see the zoo museum..but water park and the playgrounds and all the lawns picnic areas are wasted not being used and enjoyed

Nice and calm place, theres a playground and mini zoo is open during spring and summer, a lot of people also like playing in the water of the small stream. Its also a good place to go and walk or have a picnic....

This is such a beautiful place, and so versatile! Its wide wrap around porch is perfect for kids playing tag or anyone else who wants to stand outside and soak up the peace of the landscape.

This is a go to park in Elgin! They have a public swimming pool in the summer. They have two sets of tennis courts. They have a petting zoo and a pond and play areas for the children. Sand and walking paths and big large Open Fields. I love trying to spot the deer inside the petting zoo area thats fenced-off!

I always go there

I always have fun there. They have great staff that react fast if the waters bad. But they dont tell the kids to stop jumping into the water I understand when its like your doing the diving exercises because some kids are supposed to learn how to do that but not the whole lets run and jump in.

Never a dull moment when visiting this park. The lords park pool is open during summer so people can cool down and relax. Playground is suitable for kids of all age. Also check out the park zoo, not really big, but does offer various activities during the year and a few animals.

Amazing park. Perfectly planned and includes the most amenities that I have seen offered in a park. The most beautiful time to come here is in the fall where the falling leaves make it a perfect setting.

I love this place. Only iasue is i seen a huge turtle stuck in the waterfall theres no way for him to get out.they need to put nets or a barrier so animals cant get stuck.
