This is a wonderful park! There seems to be something for every age group. There is playground equipment for both younger and older kids, as well as an awesome splash pad and a skate park.

Always a great time for the kids. The splash pad is VERY MUCH IMPROVED! We have been waiting for it to reopen.

This park is very clean & well maintained!! But needs a barrier/chain link fence where the track/basketball courts meet. Other than that, great area!! Especially when the flowers are in bloom north of the track!!

Its a nice quaint little park.

I went on a Friday afternoon expecting it to be busy, but there was no one there. It is a nice place to bring the dogs. Only downfall is the small dog water fountain had really low pressure, so bring something for your dogs to drink out of.

This park has a great playground and is mostly covered. The splash is open during the summer months and is good for all ages of children. Our son loves it here!

This is our favorite park. Theres something for everyone - a running track, baseball fields, playgrounds for both older and younger kids, swings, bathrooms with sinks, a skate park, and even a hotdog stand (permanent building with upgraded hot dogs). Plus it shares a parking lot with the Police Station, for extra peace of mind.

This park holds a special place in my heart. Ive been walking my dog here ever since he was a puppy. Its a very friendly place, but it can be a little intimidating considering it is in old Yuma, but Ive never really felt threatened here. Plus, the Sheriff department is less than half a mile away, LOL. Yes, there are a couple of vagrants here and there, but to be honest, theyve been very friendly as well. The view is beautiful, especially in the evening when you can see the sunset behind the Ocean-to-Ocean Highway... Very picturesque. The city definitely takes good care of this park, and it has poop stations for your dogs too, which is a plus! From here, you can even walk to West Wetlands. Thats what we end up doing... or well go around towards the Quartermaster Depot, cross the entrance, then make a left, cross the pretty, white bridge towards the train tracks, and then venture back to the parking lot under the freeway via the Hilton Garden Inn... Lovely walks. Wake up early in the morning and take either walk, its very relaxing, and peaceful.

My little girl loves this park, theres more play sets here than any other park around!

Something for everyone. My teenager likes the skate park and my younger kids love the playground and splash pad. I like that its shaded in a lot of the play areas and I can walk my dog around. The hotdog stand/place is a great place to grab lunch or a drink. I dont mind letting my kids ride bikes here either with the Police station across the parking lot I dont think theres going to be much shinnanigans going on. Nice park. Highly recommend.

Just a nice public playground where a kid can be a kid. Plus you get to see jets flying around due to Luke A.F.B being close by.

Nice park well maintained

I love this place! A fenced-in area where the dogs can run safe. a quiet area where you can spend time and just sit and think. Overall just a really thoughtful and wonderful Park.

Awesome basketball courts, no one here to bother you if you want to play one on one, or just shoot around by yourself. Skate park is a cool attraction too.

This is an incredible asset for the City of El Mirage. Between the Northwest Valley YMCA, a skate park, a huge Community park, a dog park, and the El Mirage Police Department Headquarters, there is literally something for everybody!

My son had the best time! Very clean park, and I love that the splash pad lasts for 15 mins before you have to press the button again. I have an autistic son, and it is Brayden approved and mama appreciated.

A great place to take kids to the park and for events held here by our great city El Mirage.

A lot of green places for the kids to play and run. But the very best part of this park is the splash pad! Theres nothing more fun for kids at a park then a splash pad!

This is a great park for the whole family. It has a dog park, a water play area for kids, a large open area for parties, soccer field, and a skate part for skateboards and scooters.

Beautiful small Park. Great place for a family get together

We just had another great stay at the Gateway Hotel. Our room had a new A/C unit which was VERY quiet-- awesome! The rooms are equipped with Hamilton Beach coffeemakers-- a wonderful extra feature for those guests who wish to brew coffee in their own rooms. The refrigerator in the room was another great touch. The room was very clean; the only concern I had was that the cleaning staff did NOT replenish soap when they refreshed our room. But this is minor. During our two night stay, we visited the following restuarants: Uzen Sushi, Tokyo Fast Food, India Cafe, and Paris Pastry. All of the restaurants are close to the Gateway. We would highly recommend this hotel to other guests, and in fact we have already booked a 3-night stay in December!!

My kids loved it. I can sit in one spot and watch the playground and splash pad. I just wish there was a little splash pad for the babies to just sit and splash, maybe little fountains.

What is it with parks and woodchips? They are a horrible idea for a playground cause when your kid falls now they have splinters on top of everything else! Not that many things to play on. Lots of things to climb on so if your kid is a climber then this is the park for you!

Good place to break a leg if not careful but a lot of fun for the kids

This is a beautiful park with lots of shade trees and Ramadas. It also has a cute air conditioned cafe thats sells hot dogs, nachos, candy and cold slushies for purchase. Also it has a splash pad that is open from May to late September. Last but not least it also offers covered parking. You cant beat that in Arizona!!!

ONLY 1 COMPLAINT; WHY THE HELL ARE THE RESTROOMS SOO DAMN FAR AWAY FROM THE SPLASH PAD & PLAY GROUND??!! MAKES NO SENSE TO ME ESPECIALLY FOR THE KIDS!!! Other than that, kids enjoy it!

I only go for the skate park but everything else is pretty great, skatepark recently got repaired and is amazing. Super clean.

Nice park good amenities for baseball and to spend an afternoon however I really don’t recommend the hot dog place since new management my son and his friend came home w food poison from ketchup sitting out to long!

Very nice and well maintained play area and splash pad. sports fields are always kept up and the basketball court and skating area is always clean. cool bonus that theres a hotdog spot on site. proud of our little city. would like to see a fence on the walking trail side of the basketball court . came close to getting hit a few timeS.

This was a lovely park with a little hot dog cafe that my kids were thrilled about. (Windy City Dogs ) They had hot dogs, shaved ice and soft serve ice cream. They also have a splash pad at the park which was unfortunately closed, even though it was 98 degrees (right around the time we left the park) My girls enjoyed the playground with rope climbing toys and swings. ( The play area is soft wood chips instead of sand.) There is a skate park area as well, and a large portion of the parking is shaded/covered, which is awesome. It had several grassy areas, but unfortunately, there were signs all over saying to keep off the grass. The restrooms are family restrooms. Its basically 2 large, locking stalls, each of which has a toilet and a urinal. There is one sink, which is on the outside of the restroom area, and when we were there, the soap dispenser was empty, and there was nothing available for drying our hands. Overall a fun, enjoyable park for my family, with some minor down sides.

Perfect little gem accompanied with windy city dogs! Splash pad is the only one I can find open before memorial day near LF park and Avondale.

Cool park

Love the Windy City Dogs concession place at the park. Hotdogs are comparable to the East Coast. The lady who took my order and payment was happy and friendly. Great customer service goes a long way!

A pleasant spot to bring the kids or take a walk--lots of trees and shade. If you enjoy plane spotting, theres an opportunity to watch the occasional fighter taking off from Luke AFB.

Nice place we have fun everytime we go. I gave it 4 stars because the water feature for the children was out of order. I used to frequent the Dog park also but if I remember correctly they had water/plumbing issues over there too.

Love this park! Took my son to the skate park. Had a variety of activities going on. Very well maintained. Has a cute lil snack shop with reasonable prices on-site. Police station right on park premises makes for a safe feel

Beautiful clean park. Nice little skate park for the older kids to play in. The baseball fields where very nice and well maintained. The rest room was clean and new looking. And the play ground was fun for the kids. I did like how they had there own little store to buy hotdogs and food. Plus you have the police station across the parking lot so safe. And they have two Pokemon gyms and a few pokestops for those Pokemon go trainers.

It was our first time visiting their office and they treated us as if we were family.

Lifespring Church held Easter Sunday morning services here, served free lunch. The space available allowed enough room for an Easter egg hunt; bounce house; farm animal petting zoo; face painting; sm. train; lunch serving tables & a large tent w/500 chairs, a stage to accommodate 5 musicians & 4 singers & 2 pastors/speakers.

Kids love it. But why did they only put 2 restroom stalls and almost the walk of a football field from the splash pad!... Sucks especially for the lil ones!

This is also the Police station. Thats where you need to go if your car gets impounded for mandatory 30 days. Release fee $150

Covered play ground is a plus. Wood chips not sand plus. Potty close plus. Whoever designed it was thinking what would a mommy like in a play ground and made it! Great hiking also.

Park is huge and even had a skate park plus a running/ walking trail around it. Great play ground for kids n even a little snack bar with Hawaiian shaved ice.
