On vacation staying at the Renaissance Historic District Hotel, right around the corner we found the Gentry. As soon as you walk in you feel a good vibe. The drinks and food, delicious!!!!!!!! So good we had dinner there two nights, the deviled eggs on toast and the crab dish so good. The hanger steak and pork chop cooked to perfection and the fried chicken served with mac and cheese delicious, cheers to the chef!!!!!!! The service was amazing from the bartenders to the waiters, Whitney and Brooke could not have taken better care of us!!!! They made the experience very special do not miss out on this special place!!!!!!!!!!

I was born in Phoenix in 1961 and have resided in El Mirage .I played little league baseball at that park, and attended many fiestas and carnivals there.Eventually had 4 boys,became a father watching my boys playing little league baseball.To this day,I never had a problem at Bill Gentry Park which now still exists more beautiful than ever,not to mention safe.Go enjoy a time in the outdoors at Bill Gentry Park.

Great place for a ball game. Concession stand was open and had different items to choose from. The dugouts were great for the boys! Wish there was some shade over the bleachers. I had umbrellas but that didnt help the heat on the seat when first sitting down.

Good location to play AR games

Beautiful, quiet and clean. Playground has areas the right size for my 4yr old and my 9yr old. Shady and comfortable.

Great park. Lots of spac3 and baseball fields all lit up. Fun for the whole family.

I jad my daughters 4th birthday here before all the covid 19 stuff. Friendly, clean, respectable, are my three words to describe this cozy little skate park/sports field.

Our senior citizens took part in todays Fiesta. Here and with many others have had this chance to witness kindness for one and another . Entertainment came in so many different ways. Exchanging smiles, individuals remembered and displayed dance moves that went with those great songs. All ages conectitng Bill gentry park, our park wonderful.

Went here for dinner this evening, and it wasnt too. We got there before the dinner rush around 6:30 p.m. and were seated by a welcoming young lady. Our servers name was Madison and he was super friendly and even offered his recommendations on the menu items. Its a shame that a lot of the reviews talk about slow service. Because we got the complete opposite!! We got our orders in, checked on for extra libations multiple times and ohr water glasses were never empty.. it was top notch customer service if you ask me. Sitting at the table next to us was actually the owner JD Madison and his guests, not sure if that had anything to do with the outstanding service, but regardless our personal experience was great.

Its just a small but fun little park.

It was ok for the first hour and a half, then it was people walking around checking the trash cans. The police was riding. As it got dark my daughter and I had to leave... Its A Park!!! A place for kids not tweakers!!!! Clean that place up please.

Home of the White Tanks Little league great park lots of lighting , parking and stuff to do with the family .

One time I went there to take a walk and I was getting exhausted but then I saw these men dancing to the birds chirping and It inspired me to walk even faster:) its a good park

I love the El Mirage events!! This is what a real community should feel like.

Nice. Even El Mirage Police Officer Lower walked through asking patrons if they were okay and whether they were in need of water. Finally, a positive interaction with the public.

Green and clean i feel safe with my grandkids there.

Great time, picked up grapefruits, lemons, oranges.

It was nice for the neighborhood carnival.. except for all the teenagers and non parents watching their children. Otherwise its just a neighborhood park and the teenagers hangout spot with baseball fields. Nothing for anyone trying to experience anything worthwhile

Went there to see the Halloween Festival, which was a blast!! Lots to do for the kids, but limited street parking.

Had a wonderful time. Event was very well organized.

At an amusement park

Needs to have a police presence all the time. Watched a grown up look out for cops while children fought each other, and then warned them when they showed up to take off. Kids get bullied and picked on if they arent the right race. I wouldnt recommend taking your kids here at all, especially when it starts to get dark.

Very nice park especially since they renovated it.

Big change for the better although I am not happy about the drug use in the bathrooms. Definitely could use some more patrolling in the area more often.

A perfect place for holding events. The only thing I can comment on negatively was the parking.

Its ok they should add more kids stuff and get rid of all the bums so these poor kids arent scared to play
