First of all it was too damn hot in there. Once you dry off and redress you instantly go into a blaze. The rides and equipment are boring and are not well kept. For the money they make they should at least do some upgrades. This place needs to take some notes from the great wolf lodge.

Fun and helpful staff. Saved money, from staff letting me know the package they had without even asking. Pizza wasnt the greatest, but kids enjoyed it. My biggest complaint is the lazy river is so warm, but the kids play ground area is freezing my 2 year old wouldnt even play in it. We ended up on the entry stairs to the lazy River most of our time.

Watched my grandson enjoy the slide and all the different features. Pizza was good too.

The kids had a blast when we took them . Great place for everyone. My 9 year old wanted to go for his birthday. He wants to go again .

We went Monday for my daughters birthday. The water was great and refreshing. There wasnt a ton of ppl there and it was nice. One large pizza fed all 5 of us bigs. We got a discount because the lazy river and water slides close at 5. The hot tub was closed too so I had to swim from heater to heater in the pool to get warm because the kids didnt want to leave. Its too bad they dont have a patio and sun roof! All in all, great alternative to the beach on a rainy day!

I really enjoyed this waterpark! It is located inside the Metropolis Hotel in Eau Claire. Its a great waterpark to go to throughout the year since its located inside. It is perfect for young kids and has several different areas for different ages. It has a smaller play area for the younger kids, a lazy river, a bigger/slightly deeper area for the older kids with a basketball hoop and 2 slides for the bigger kids/adults. It also has tables and chairs everywhere so theres always a place to sit and set your stuff down. There is also a place called Monkey in the Middle Express (pizza) thats located inside the waterpark area so you dont have to leave to get food or drinks if you dont want to. Very pleased with our stay and cant wait to go back and enjoy this waterpark again with our kids!!

So far so good!! The price was amazing ($80 before taxes). I would definitely come again. 4 people for the water park was free because we stayed in the hotel. My 5 year old boys do not want to leave! The food at the pub was very good and service was fast! Going on a Thursday is a great idea because Im sure it was less packed. The water park is open 9am to 9pm! Love it!

Great for kids! This water park is a popular spot for birthdays and family days for good reason. Lots of activity is packed into the space. If you find a well-placed deck chair, you can see almost the entire pool area from your seat and still keep an eye on your more independent swimmers. Life guards are everywhere and are attentive. Clean and bright, observers who are not swimming get free entry!You can rent cabanas for your group and pricing is super reasonable. Their pizza is also surprisingly delicious.Things to be aware of: noise level is high, especially on busy weekends. Not a great place for a heart-to-heart conversation. Poolside air temps are WARM and humid. Definitely comfortable if youre swimming, toasty if youre observing.

Great indoor water park with tube slide, body slide, lazy river, kids section, and swim area. You can purchase separate admission or stay in the resort hotel and have access to water park. There is Action City nearby (separate admission) with trampolines, video games, go carts, and zipline.

My bad review is solely based on my visit today 1/24/2020. It was my first time at toddler swim, we were there for 30 minutes. A little boy about 3 was drowning (blue lips and fingers not breathing, lifeless) a man was yelling for a lifeguard and that the boy needs CPR. I watched probably 5 high school age lifeguards watching with no idea what to do. And WALKING around. THE BOY COULD HAVE DIED. NOT A SINGLE PERSON THAT WORKED AT CHAOS HAD ANY IDEA WHAT TO DO

Not impressed. Pool looked grungy steps were brown half the attractions were closed. And although it was nice and warm, it was not well circulated and got a headache from the chemical smell.

Would be AMAZING if we could get some larger tubes just for use in the lazy River...it really sucks and for some is embarrassing to not be able to use a tube, and look like a fool trying!!!Other than that, LOVE it! The water is perfect, the pizza is great, and it honestly never feels overly crowded. We have and will continue to return many more times!!!

We recent had my daughters Birthday party here. Had setup for 10 participants, but only 6 swimmers came, had 4 extra arm bands and was unable to use them another day or get refunded for unused armbands, which sorta stunk. Ask the desk lady if she would instead give and let the next people who come use the arm bands, she said she would and when i was leaving i notice two of the armbands appeared to be gone. So at least someone else was able to benefit from the already paid for bands.Otherwise, happy. My daughter always loves coming here, have been contemplating getting the annual pass, would definitely be worth the cost

Fun waterpark. The tubes are kind small for laying in the lazy river. Drinks at the bar are good. Would be better if there was an adults only hot tub.

Great place to take younger kids. Plenty of activities but its a small enough place that you can keep an eye on kids easily. Food and drinks at poolside are good and reasonably priced. Great deals when you stay at Metropolis Resort.

We are here today ... life guards are spot on. To one particular LG ... he saw a little girl come out of the splash park slide in tears ... he goes in to check on her and totally shielded her from the bucket that was about to dump. Nice Job!! ♡

Great indoor waterpark for the family. My wife and I took our 4 and 2 year old; they had a blast. Admission to the waterpark was included when you book a room with the partner resort. The waterpark features multiple attractions including; lazy river, whirlpool, pool, toddler splash park area, and two larger slides. There is a bar on site that also serves food such as pizza. The water temp was perfect. I would recommend and visit again.

It is a fun place to go and the kids enjoy going down the slides and hopping on the lily pads! We enjoy this place so much and love coming back.

Really enjoy toddler swim on Fridays. Inexpensive and theres way less people than at a normal time.

My daughter had her 7th birthday party at Chaos recently, and it was fun. The pizza isnt great, but its good. The ice creamy, gooey-fudge birthday dessert is delicious. And, of course, the water attractions are fun and include options for people of all ages.

Over priced but has fun. Im still not happy about 41$$ for 1 adult and 2 small kids just to get in.

I was pretty disappointed with this place. The name Chaos perfectly describes it. My first mistake was going on a Saturday. It was extremely loud, could barely carry on a conversation. Then, someone pooped in the kiddie pool and it took the staff 20 minutes to even inform anyone that it had happened and to get out of the pool. Then it took another 10 minutes for them to put on gloves and start cleaning it out of the pool. Then we had to wait 30 minutes while it was filtered out of the pool. While we were waiting, there was a male employee hitting on a female employee and while he was doing so, he was taking sips from a cup and spitting it out into the pool. It was disgusting. Not a fan.

Everyone will love this family-friendly environment this place is! Its safe enough for everyone to enjoy! I notice the life guards and staff on duty were always making sure everyone was safe and having a great time. During our time there, we had 2 staff come and asked us if we needed anything else throughout the day. Great service!

3/1/18Chaos Water Park - Eau Claire, WIOnce a year we come through this area on our way to Chicago. This is our halfway stop. We enjoy the hotel and the water park too! The water park has been recently renovated and looks fantastic! We had a great time just floating around in the lazy river and sitting in the very large hot tub. The kids had a great time going down the water slides and playing in the one pool which had balls and basketball hoops at different heights. It was accommodating for all ages. This water park is set up with nice tables and chairs and the options of a snack bar with pizza.They have many on staff that are always watching people in the lazy river and pools to ensure they are safe and acting safely. They dont just sit in a chair either, they are walking almost constantly to ensure the safety of all. This is a facility we will surely be returning to with the family! Its a great place to be during those cold winter days!

Fun place! One big tube slide, one big non tube slide. A great little kid play place type area with zero entry. Lily pads to try to cross on, lazy river, hot tub. The changing rooms have a suit dryer, showers, lockers. They have suits and towels for sale as well.

Went here for the first time and it was ok. Bathrooms could have been cleaner, and their highchairs need a good cleaning and repairs(just like many places)..Their pricing was competitive with other local pools. But they charge for kids under 2-3 years old. This was the first place Ive been charged for my kids to swim at, for $7 no less. Its $8 for everyone else.. My twins just turned 1 a week ago, and I would pay $2-4 if they had a nice splash area for them. But their splash area had all ages kids running around in it, along with a giant bucket that dumps onto everyone.. I find it silly to pay for such young kids in a place like that, where theyre being held or in the floaties I brought with the whole time.. Its fun for older kids, but not worth the money for young ones..

OK smaller waterpark, under maintained, very busy crowded very loud, on the other hand, my son enjoyed it! I however thought it was rather underwhelming, its what you would expect for a hotel on the freeway, sort of a money grab. 3 stars because my kid loved it.

Attended my nieces party; they ended up double booking the room that was reserved. The people who booked later were given the room. Then they ended up sticking us at a table next to the pool, when not everyone was dressed for the pool area. The table wasnt big enough for everyone. Not sure if they were refunded, but Id definitely be demanding one.

Good place to bring the kids. A couple of water slides, a lazy river, a Lily pad, water playground and a hot tub. The hot tub is okay, but would be better with more jets. It could also benefit from a deep pool in which one could actually swim. Our children had lots of fun.

This is such a fun water park! We love the water slides and we love the treats! Whether youre floating in The Lazy River or flying down the water slide on a tube theres fun to be had by everyone! Theres pizza and pop or cookies to eat making you get happy dancing feet lol honestly though for family fun choose chaos :-)

Fun for the whole family

Pick a better weekend than 4th of July to clean your pools, called to make reservations and was told the pool was closed but would be given tickets for an outdoor pool. Well it was pouring that day (called for same day reservations) and was supposed to rain the next 2 days as well. What good would that have done us? We gladly stayed at another resort for around the same price who had open pools. Maybe clean the pools on a less busy week/weekend.

Lets just say fun.

Great water park for families! Not too big where you worry about your kids running off, not too small where you’re bored right away. Just right. We have two small kids, one and three. Plenty to do now and as they grow. We will be back.

Nice small indoor water park

We visited with passes we got from our hotel room. They sell swimsuits, goggles, and souvenirs if you were missing something. The water was heated, and they supplied inner tubes to float on and use on the slides. They had an indoor slide that goes slow enough I had to push myself to keep moving, and was very safe. They have another slide you ride down with an inner tube, and it goes quite fast and you cant see a thing. They have a playground area for smaller kids that has a large bucket that steadily fills up and eventually dumps over the whole playground. They have a general pool that has basketball hoops, and a little side pool for it that has a climbing net with floating islands to help. The lazy river pushes you along and a nice relaxing pace, and has water fountains shooting on it. If you get hungry there is a restaurant to get pizza and drinks from.The only downside I had was the chorine smell and sound level. Had to almost yell to hear each other. But we definitely had a good time.

It was hard to decide on a rating. There are some good things and some not good things.As for the good, the staff was polite and the lifeguards were overall consistent. (It really doesnt matter to me if they are strict or easy going as long as everyone is consistent so my kids know exactly what to expect.) The setup is small, but in a nice, contained way that lets the kids roam free without losing them. Its loud in there, but there is nothing that can be done about that; if you want a water park to be inside, its going to be noisy. You get acclimated to it after a bit. Temperature of the air and water were fine. Overall, a happy environment, and not overpacked or uncomfortable for a January weekend event.On the bad side, the signage is very unclear about the fact that a 36 child cant go down the big water slide (the one without the tubes) with a parent. Signage expresses that they must be 36 to ride the tube slide with a parent (48 to ride alone) and 36 to ride the regular slide, but does NOT express the very important fact that they are not allowed to ride the regular slide at all with a parent. The slide isnt very fast, but it was impossible to get my 3 year old onto it by himself without the option of me going with him once or twice first. As mentioned, the slide isnt very fast either. Following the posted body positioning instructions, I got stuck quite a bit and had to push myself along often to get to the bottom. The entry pace of the slide is also painfully slow. The lifeguards wait until the slide is completely clear (I guess they would have to with people getting stuck on the way down) so even with a short line, you are waiting at the the top for a very long time before actually going down. The main comparison I can make is with the city pool (Fairfax), which also has a similar (though outdoor) slide. I can go down that one with my kids, the slide is fast and fun, and even a long line moves very quickly--all with a high level of safety and supervision. We were considering skipping our annual passes to Fairfax this year and trying annual passes to Chaos instead, but these negatives were the deciding factor in choosing Fairfax for our family of five once again, even without the year round accessibility that Chaos offers.The other negative I encountered is purely subjective. The tube ridden slide is completely dark most of the way down. Though much faster and more thrilling than the other slide, getting jostled around in the dark made me a little nauseated. I tend to get motion sickness easily in those situations, so Im sure most people will be fine.Even though it wouldnt be a regular, local destination for us, it was still a fun, warm afternoon during a time of year that is frigid outside. That pushes it up to three stars. Just be aware of the limitations before you go if you have young children. I would say the optimal age range for the place is between 5 to 10 years old.

This place lives up to its name. For a water park that was packed with kids from of all ages I only heard the lifeguards blow a whistle once or twice, meaning older kids were regularly sprinting through the splash pad. I nearly had to step in and physically stop a sixth grader from stampeding over my toddler in the splash pad. There also was no clear separation from the entryway / walkway and the pool deck. It would have been nice to have some sort of separate area for shoes. That way a dude with work boots wouldnt have his toe in the water.That all being said if you are in Eau Claire, your kids will probably have a blast. Just plan on busy and crazy and youll have a good time.

The only reason I would rate this a 4 star is simply because of the size. We went to this water park on labor day and we were lucky to find out that the place was not packed. Inside the water park there is also a bar which serves pizza and drinks. 5 bottles of beer in an ice bucket for $15. Overall the cleanliness of this water park amazed me. I will definitely be returning for a second trip.

I wish it was a little more accommodating for people with little ones there arent any hooks or shelves in the bathrooms or showers to set stuff on to get your kids ready....you cant go on the big slides with your small children and they cant wear a life vest/puddle jumper to go by themselves...its expensive and the little kids play area theres water spraying everywhere which is great for older kids but little ones dont like having water sprayed in their face dont have much fun...I was expecting more for the cost of entrance.

I honestly would give it no stars but thats not an option. Where should we start. The water was so dirty it was cloudy white. The water slides were so dirty there was hair in all the drains and they were so dirty on the sides, like buildup. The floors were recently repainted but it was a horrible choice of paint. People were slipping left and right. I saw countless adults slipping while walking, kids every few seconds falling. Two of them flat on their back next to me. Also my own son almost fell about 5 times holding my hand till right before we left he fell flat on his back and smacked his head on the cement. Surprising they had ice packs left. The locker rooms I cant even describe well enough how filthy they were. There were dirty towels everywhere on the floor, the clean towel racks had nothing but used towels on it from when we first got there till we changed to leave. My wife says the womens restroom was dirty as well for the same reasons including used feminine products on the floor the entire day! No one has checked or cleaned for at least 3 hours. The length of time we were there. From what I can tell there wasnt nearly enough staff to keep up with the amount of people in the building. They either need to hire more workers or have a limit on the number of people allowed in the park. I guess that one star can be good for the food in the Action City part of the resort. Needless to say we got our money back when we left.

Huge waste of time if your kids are older than maybe 6. Only lasted 30 minutes before I left to go to the mall. Admission costs too much for the crowded, small space they offer. Might be worth it as part of a hotel stay but we came just for the waterpark and were very disappointed.

Chaos is fun for kids but the ladies bathroom/changing room was NASTY today! We got there at 2pm, didnt leave til after 6pm and the bathroom hadnt been picked up once. There was garbage, wet towels and nastiness all over the floor. The toilets were nasty. As fun as it is to go there I was so disgusted by the bathroom that we will not be returning for a long time. They have enough workers from what I saw to keep an eye on the bathrooms.

Im going today and I give it 5 stars just for looking so good

2 water slides, a lazy river, a hot tub, a kids play area with a giant bucket of water that tips every now and then. nice little place not too busy. has an outdoor area where you can get some sun. no reclining chairs indoors and only 4 outdoors. good for younger kids. older get would get bored after a few hours.

Overall ok. It was very loud. Most water parks are, but this seemed excessive to me and more was the air handler than the water noise. The table layout is and always has been crowded, but it is manageable. Kids had fun which was the important part. A little bit of change would make a huge difference with this park.

Life guards were kinda over the top, almost picking on my kids ( who can be a handful at times like most kids can but they were fairly tame today) and I dont like that you cant bring in outside food, just sayin...

I have been to this place 10 to 15 times and I love this place 6 lifeguard always looking to help or keep you safe..Food and drinks are good.. Many things to do here. Price is great VA discount for all military . Hard to keep all happy but they try.

Good the first time you go....hard to spend all day in just the water park

Was a favorite destination, till they had to close the kiddie pool due to the fact that a kid puked in the pool. The staff told us nothing. They never turned the water off so the vomit water kept cycling throughout the system. We where only there for 1/2 hour. We asked for a refund due to the fact that we where not going to let our 3 year old swim in that, but they refused. I would only recommend this place of you WANT your kid to get sick.

Called with questions and staff never bothered to inform us their summer hours are CLOSED 12-4 on Tues. They lost at least 15 people that we saw. Oh well will go to other motels in town next year.
