Went in for a Tribute Tattoo to my daughter that we lost last year. New to the area, so I didn’t know of any Shops to go to, so I googled shops in area and checked out some of the artists works on their social media sites. Memphis’ work at Camp Creek stood out to me. So I went in for a consult with my daughter’s picture to get some ideas from Memphis. Granted this is my Very First Ink, And didn’t know what to expect. With some tattoos I’ve seen on people that’s based off a photo, some look nothing like the photo, But Memphis attention to detail took it to the next level. I got a half sleeve on my first ink and he made the picture come alive. Still got to go back to go with a full sleeve later to fully complete the tribute, but He Exceeded my expectations and then some. The staff up front to the other artists are awesome. Great Atmosphere. I would Highly recommend, Memphis and Camp Creek if you’re looking for some Ink.

This was my second time Camp Creek Body Art. The first time I got the Infinity symbol with the word Faith and I loved it. Tattoo artist was friendly and did a great job. I wanted the butterfly on my leg revamp and D.B Wyte, designed a whole new one for me. It looks great and you can’t tell I had one previous one there. I would definitely go back and recommend them to anyone who asked.

I have gotten several tattoos done here with most of them being done by Memphis and a cover up was done by Kenny DaKydd. I am not sure about others giving bad ratings because I have had nothing but great experiences here. The first time I came in about a few years ago, I had a 20 year old tattoo idea that no one has ever been able to put to paper what I was describing, but Memphis did on that 1st visit and to see it on my arm was great. I got 2 more done on yesterday and they are outstanding. Actually, yesterday was my first time witnessing Memphiss freehand drawing on my arm. Professionalism at its best!!! For those with bad reviews, be patient and express what you want. No one can read minds, and this is a tattoo shop and not your Moms house so dont expect extra special attention, but expect to get great artistic results! These are artists, and I will continue to go back.

I have gotten 2 tattoos here by Dre. I got one the first day he started working there and loved it. I went in yesterday and got another with him, and it’s hands down my favorite piece out of the 5 that I have! The store is clean and the environment is welcoming! Dre is super patient understanding. He took 3 separate pictures and made my vision come alive and I was slightly particular and he didn’t mind at all. I highly recommend this shop!

From the moment I stepped through the door, great service. My tattooer, Wyte, took great interest to get the design I wanted in my head onto paper. All questions I had were answered. Since then its healed beautifully and the lines stayed clean. All in all 10/10

Waited almost 40 minutes for the piercer who was allegedly on her way. Never showed. The one guy working finally brought me back to change out my nose ring only to find out they don’t have hoops. Won’t be back.

I had two tattoo sessions, two days apart and both days were delightful. The staff is welcoming and polite and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. I had two cover-ups done by Dre and I was very impressed by his talent and professionalism. He was completely tuned in to my ideas and produced exactly what I imagined. My experience all around was great and I will be returning.

When I came here the vibe was on point they where very friendly I decided to get a tattoo and I found myself finding my tattoo guy because my tattoo is so beautiful the process was nice. Dre is mad cool and a creative artist. I went in for a sternum tattoo. His work is great, he do not apply a lot of pressure on you when he tattoos like some artist does. I would most definitely refer anyone to him. He is one of the BEST.

Pretty cool depending on who you encounter. The owner isn’t that friendly but the other artist/piercers were pretty cool. If you use a card you will be charged a 5$ fee and the piercing cleaner is on the high end. Bring cash and buy your cleaner from target or Walmart.

Listen. Tommy is EVERYTHING. This tattoo meant a lot and he made me feel at home,comfortable and most importantly, what I wanted came out exactly how I wanted it. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a tattoo.

I came in to get my nose pierced. I was impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism of the place. After leaving, within 20 minutes, my nose began to bleed heavily and I gently applied a compress. When I removed the tissue, the piercing came out, completely. I was under the impression that there was something inside my nose holding it in place. Unfortunately, there was nothing there and Im barely able to keep it in while I wait until they open tomorrow morning so they can fix it.

As I prepare to turn 50, I made up.in mind that I would get two tats that have substance and a special meaning to me. My tattoo artist was The Memphis... Man, the two tats he did are phenomenal and he made the process seamless with minimized pain. I am OVERLY satisfied with Memphis work, customer service and details. I WILL BE BACK FOR TWO MORE INDEED.. Thanks Memphis..

My experience at Camp Creek Body Art was great! Very professional and comfortable. The artist I went with was Tommy two braids which I may say is the BEST!!! He did an amazing job on my cover up, which by the way no other artist I contacted wanted to even fool with it! Smoke and the rest of the staff is great as well! My friend liked my work so much she even came back to get a tattoo! I get compliments every where I go. The owner of the shop is also very professional and it was a pleasure dealing with them! This place is really dope . I had an earring backing stuck inside my earlobe , extremely painful. But the guy who wears the glasses got it out and the young lady at the front is so cool , She loves kiks cereal. And they sell art . Please be very kind to these people. Eternally grateful.

My mom and I came in today to get our nose piercings done. We were greeted professionally and the atmosphere was comfortable. We went to the back and the area was sanitary and clean. I had to sleep on whether I was going to write this or not, Im really not one to complain about things since I work in customer service myself. But my experience at Camp Creek Body Art was painful, low-key traumatic and high-key ridiculous.I went in to see if I could find a new ball bearing for my septum piercing since one of mine fell off. They told me that I had to get a new ring entirely. I was like well I got my piercing last week, is that going to hinder my healing process if I have a professional do it? the lady at the desk said it should be fine.So I pick out my ring, pay $10, she calls Kenny, the guy doing the replacement, and I head back there. When I enter Kennys room, I notice the room wasnt very well-lit at all; he only had lamps and no overhead lighting. It made it spectacular atmospheric lighting, but not at all conducive to being able to see well even though thats kind of a necessity for the job hes getting ready to do.Kenny isnt gentle when he takes out my septum ring, even though I told him Id just gotten it a week ago. When he goes to put the new one in, he doesnt really seem to take much time in finding where the actual hole is before trying to shove a piercing into where he seems to think it is. The more sensitive it is the closer I probably am to the hole he said. Which didnt make sense to me because he wasnt being gentle or probing, he was just forcing it in, so it would be sensitive whether he was near the hole or not (hint: he wasnt near the hole).He was at this for maybe 15 minutes and at times I had to tell him to give me a second because even though my nose was bleeding it didnt occur to him that I may need a break from what he was doing. He gave me a napkin; my nose was bleeding a lot. I have it its just not lining up, he said. Im probably going to have to re-pierce it he said. I told him I didnt want a second hole in my nose and he said that it would only reopen the one Ive already had. Even though he didnt seem to know where the hole was to begin with so I dont see how I WOULDNT end up with a second hole. I finally told him to stop, asked him how long I had until it closed up, he said maybe a day or so, and I said Id try my luck and I left.I got the ring back in when I got home. Turns out, Kenny was trying to push in the ring about half a centimeter south of where the piercing actually was. He wasnt even close to it. And instead of admitting he couldnt find it he was content to re-pierce my nose in a completely different spot. Im glad I walked out.Im sorry for how long this post is and Im sorry to write a bad review, but I just want to share what happened when I went in there. From my experience, it didnt seem like they knew what they were doing in there. My nose hurt more when I left there than when I got the piercing originally.tl;dr: I cant speak for the tattoo experience, but if youre thinking of getting pierced here or a piercing replacement, Id suggest going elsewhere. It may save you a lot of pain.UPDATE: Im responding to the owners response. Frankly, I dont think you read my entire review, as you addressed random details and not my explicitly stated concerns. Whether or not you felt I was exaggerating about the lamps, my point was that the lighting was not good in the room. I did not insist on getting a new ring, but I was told by one of your professionals that it would be alright to change the ring if they did it. I understand that my piercing was sore because it was new, but it was also sore because your piercer did not know where the hole was, and was trying to force a ring through unpierced skin, which was the point of my original review. I appreciate the fact that you took the time to respond, but this is the exact response I was expecting, as all other poor reviews are met with you seemingly blaming the customer for their own bad experience. I wish you and your establishment growth. I only paid $10, I dont want it back, but hope that one day you may actually receive your customers concerns as a professional.

I chose this place because of the reviews however I called before I decided to come got a rough estimate on what I would like to get done they quoted me a price and I decided to go to this establishment once I arrived at the establishment the woman told me that the price she quoted was for away from their price that I would have to pay for the work that I wanted to get done and then she told me that I could not be seen today because the owner was closing the shop early because of being short staffed and over booked and this was after I called and told them I will be there in 30 minutes ... totally unprofessional and I’m very unsatisfied..... I was never apologized to nor scheduled to be seen on a later date

I went to this shop a few months ago to get a tattoo and nose piercing in the same day.. They were very professional and made me feel welcomed.. Went back a little while later because I was having trouble taking the nose ring out.. The guy that was there literally refused to take it out for me I guess because I wasnt spending enough money for him (only paying $10 to take it out and put another one in) I felt like the girl behind the counter was basically begging him to do his job and he still wouldnt do it... Needless to say despite the great work they did with my tattoo I wont be going back.

Ask for Dre’ he does amazing work never been disappointed. The shop is easy to get to and clean.

Me and my husband already had each others name on our body and we wanted to do something different. So we decided to go to this place on our wedding night to get pieced. This guy name Smoke done me and my husband first body piecing (not ear piercing). He did an wonderful job and take pride into his work. No rushing and showed us great customer service. Never go here!!! They give you the wrong jewelry and wont correct their mistakes or give you your money back. The sad part is that when a person works at a piercing shop you would at least think they should know the CORRECT jewelry to give you. They dont deserve a star or customers for that fact!!!!

I have gotten 5 tattoos and a piercing between 10/2015(2 tatts & septum piercing) and 7/2018 (3 tatts). I have never had to wait long. The skills are amazing. The art is awesome.The pricing is reasonable. I am looking at some of the other services they offer. I want a few more tatts too... So here I come. I highly recommend!!! See you there!!

I called the shop and wanted to get my daith pierced and I asked about the price, Danielle was very rude and told me it would be 100 dollars for it and I went online and the price was 40 per ear. I wouldnt go there knowing they cheat customers

Only at one star I still have good things to say they were awesomewhen my bbf got her nips done so we decided to go back and get bff tattoos done and being a owner of 8 and her 13 +we know exactly how they are supposed to heal and hers didnt heal like the others an mine healed as a real scab. Please do your research on tattoo shops cause not only did she pay for two it wasnt worth it at this place. Now I have to pay to get it it redone somewhere else because someone elses went to deep on my 9th tattoo.
