What a phenomenal gift these gardens are to the community, tucked away on Bogue Street. We spent several hours just meandering among the numerous plantings.. Plenty of shaded benches are discretely mixed in to allow for you to ponder all that youve seen. There is a magnificent childrens garden that children of any age will enjoy. See if you can find the bridge of a pond, or the butterfly chair. Or perhaps the vegetable garden.

One of the best places on campus and is a hidden gem. Best time to visit is during from spring to fall when they plant a variety of flowers and other plants. The place is secluded and has many benches to sit and relax. You’ll also see some birds and hear them chirping. There is also a playground for kids and a public bathroom. You’ll also find plenty of Pokemon and 3-4 gyms.

Fabulous as always. Great place to have a summer lunch, under the Wisteria. Also enjoyed the Radiology Garden and waterfalls at the Clinical Center.

Orchestrated arrangements of matched flowers and shrubs. Absolutely gorgeous garden to hang out and chill. Inspiring for those engaged in MI gardening. Superb concentration of pokémon and their stops. Fantastic to bring kids - dedicated section for discovery and learning. Worth easily 1 1/2 hours. Dont miss the part south of the railway tracks. Yay!

Really nice garden. We stopped by after lunch and spent about an hour wandering around.I think we saw almost everything. You could easily spend two plus hours exploring more closely, but we had our 8 month old niece with us and it was a little hot out.

This place is a second home to me. I bring people here all the time to show them the wonderful garden. The water orb sculpture is the best, I could play with it for hours. Bring your kids over to the kids garden!

My wife and I recently had our wedding reception at the gardens conservatory. It was such a magical location and perfect setting for a semi-indoor/outdoor reception. Hayley from MSU was wonderful to work with and we could not be happier with how things turned out. I would recommend getting the outdoor tent, very worth the rental and wouldn’t not go over 125ish guests if you intend to do anything inside.

We went to see the butterfly house at the horticultural gardens, unfortunately it was closed today due to lack of volunteers. The garden is loads of fun and you can catch butterflies (let them land on your finger). Outside they have numerous flower areas, my favorite being the hastas. There were only small shoots on a few early starters at this point in the season, but it is nice to see them all the same.

These are the best gardens on campus. There is so much variety: there is the annual garden, the rose garden, the 4H garden and more. There is a small green pond. There is a spot for a wedding.
