Thats ok I think a have a contact with only one employee and that was the cashier and he was nice but I was looking for something but I cant find and I wish find someone to question about

BEWARE AND TAKE YOUR FRAMING ELSEWHERE! I took in a professionally stitched needlework piece to have it framed and put down $377.33. After it was a week past due, I called the store and was told there was a problem and the framing manager would call me. No one called. So I dropped by the store and the framing manager told me that some of the framing items had shown up soiled and they had to be reordered, but she could do the framing right then and I could pick it up in a couple hours. I come to pick it up and the needlework was stretched all wonky/crooked and the mat was placed around it unevenly. She tried to pass it off as Well, thats the way it is and my friend and I both laughed and said, Nooooo, I dont think so. She claimed she could redo it the following week and they would call me when it was done. Weeks go by and I hear nothing so I call the store manager and tell her the story. She checked on it, and does actually call me back, saying they will have to reorder everything and I would get a 25% discount and it would be ready in a couple days and someone would call me when I could pick it up. Weeks go by and I call the store manager and she insists employees had called me multiple times (they hadnt) and then she confirmed they hadnt. So I made sure the store manager was there when I picked it up (52 days after I had dropped it off) and she tells me she is going to refund 100% of the framing for all the trouble. This time the needlework was stretched correctly, but one of the mats is still unevenly set so it is wider on top and to the side, but I didnt care, I just wanted my piece back and the manager gave me a refund.....but not the 100% refund she had promised. When I got home and looked at the receipt she had refunded $282.71, $94.62 short of a full refund. So may my story be a warning for anyone thinking about getting framing done at THIS STORE, especially for needlework. Go elsewhere. Anywhere else.

They are not doing shipping from the store even though they have signs advertising the service. Otherwise, the framing service worked beautifully. I got 3 x-stitches framed, and they are beautiful.

Really appreciate the in store staff and also the curbside pick up option. Staff was informative, helpful, and creative. Any substitutions for my online order were upgraded when they couldnt find the exact product I wanted.

I needed some supplies to make a special card. Nothing was on the website. I called the store asking for assistance and explained that I had limited mobility. I was met at the door by Chris, who proceeded to attend to my needs, he offered me a chair as he went about the task of gathering materials for me to select from. I was over the moon happy with the exceptional service that I was given. If you are ever in the store say hi to Chris, he is an amazing person!!

Was looking for a letter board letters organizer and I found this super cool beads organizer that worked perfectly for my letters. You can literally find anything and everything at Michaels. Fits perfectly in my drawer

There prices for pictures frames was about the same as other craft in shop! Silk flowers over price for a larger selection!

I was reluctant to post a review given the unprecedented times and stress these workers are undoubtedly facing. However, this is the second awful experience Ive had with Michaels. My curbside pickup order was ready two days ago. When I arrived at the store, I immediately called for curbside delivery (this is what we should be doing, right?). It has been exactly one hour at the time of this review. When I called for a status update at the 45 minute mark, I was laughed at by an employee.The previous bad experience was also with a curbside pickup. I waited 40 minutes and then got home to find that I didnt receive what was ordered.Update: After an hour and 15 minutes I decided to call it quits. I left and called the store again to request a manager. An associate answered the phone and abrubtly hung up after I requested the manager.A few minutes later, my wife received a phone call from a kind and helpful associate asking if we were still in the parking lot. This associate stated that she runs the curbside pickup program and received our pickup notice just a few minutes preceding her call to us. She was bewildered as to why she wasnt notified over an hour ago.

They were in the transition stage of seasons and having computer problems but they handled it well. I got what I needed.

This is one of the best organized and cleanest Michaels Ive visited. I didnt need customer service so specifically so I cant speak to that, but I thought the cleanliness was worth mentioning. Also, the person who checked me out was really friendly :)

I stopped by Michaels for planner inserts and found more than I could have imagined. Christmas items are all on mega-sale and the planner supplies are on sale, so I found lots of great deals!

I was looking all over for a stand up/sit down computer table. It was sold out everywhere including online. They happen to get one in and they told me they would put it to the side for me while I traveled an hour and a half to go get it! Thanks!

This place is never clean. Ive been in multiple times over the past few weeks and seen the same out of place merchandise just sitting on shelves. Today I asked a question about paint brushes and the associate said she didnt know and didnt think anyone else did either. She didnt attempt to ask anyone via their radios. The one plus is Michaels coupons are great for when you can find what youre looking for.

I placed an order online to pick up at the store in Durham. It was the closest store that had a table top easel in stock. I coordinated the pick up with a doctors appointment at Duke. Otherwise, I wouldnt have driven 90 miles one way.The customer pick up area was designated in a tucked away region with the frame shop Several customers and I waited for an associate to respond to a page. One lady finally left. She said she had been waiting for 15 minutes. Once the associate arrived, he was confused. I gave him my cell phone so he could read the purchase order number.He continued to look for a framed project. I told him the PO was for a table top easel. Oh.I would have given this a 3 star rating, but the cashier made up for a poor shop online, pick up in store experience with her enthusiasm, energy, and accuracy while ringing up my other purchases. She found all the coupons on my cell and applied them with efficiency. I received my military discount. I left the store feeling less aggravated.

I love this store.I can walk around and get in a creative state of mind. The store also has decorative items already design for you.I did catch cashier ringing up 2 items twice. We all need to be watchful everywhere.I would have lost 12 dollars on a 200 dollar order. Busy putting items on counter looked up just in time to catch mistakes.

Nice selection of products, but categories are sometimes different to find and there are few associates on the salesfloor to help.

Store is dirty, cluttered and hard to move around with a cart. Carts are full of merchandise and sitting in random places throughout the store. Employees are not helpful, rude and act as if its a bother to help. Trash has been swept into piles and left and the appearance of the employees is equal to the way the store looks. The store needs to be cleaned up and maybe new management brought in in order to get it where it needs to be. I would rather drive a further distance to a cleaner store than go to the one closest to me. Very disappointed!

I want to give this place 1 star!However, that is not because of the store or the employees!! It’s because every time my wife goes in, she comes out with WAY more than she needed. Just need some foam for a school project? Leave all the discounted holiday items that she “just can’t pass up”!!So fine!! Take your five stars!! But I am not happy about it!!

Amy was a great help when items were out of stock! She was persistent and offered suggestions that helped out. Amy called several other locations and patiently waited on hold and found what I needed. Great customer service!

Love shopping here. Great coupins, and most of the frames and shadow boxes I use are generally BOGO which is awesome. Staff are always very nice too.

Definitely had a nice selection of back to school items. Also if youre ready for Halloween Decor they have it out now.

I was looking for paracord and leather crafting supplies. They had very little in paracord supplies and I didnt see any leather supplies.

Michaels has more home decor items now which is good. Still can find good sales going on all the time.

I am soIncredibly pleased with my experience at Micheal’s today that I’m literally writing this review while sitting in my car in the parking lot because I don’t want to forget to do it! Donna assisted me several times in finding items I was looking for. She was incredibly pleasant and helpful! She went above and beyond to make sure my online order was correct. I don’t enjoy shopping, but experiences like this make it enjoyable! Shout out to Dahjer (spelling?) for helping me get my stuff to the car!

Large location with an even large selection of goods. Usually well organized as well as clean. Lots of parking though this particular shopping center can get very busy and be difficult to navigate in and out on the weekends.

Micheals is my go to frame spot. I have shopped here specifically for frames for the past 4 years.I always use their 40% coupon they have available online year round and have saved loads of money. My only complaint is the mark up on everyday art supplies. Its ridiculous. Youre better off going to a small art shop to get what you need. Shop local but then again local cant provide those corporate deals.

God I love Michaels. I go here all the time for cr*p I dont need. Its great. Clearance rack? My kingdom cometh. I got high and tried to do one of those fake flower photo shoot challenges. Didnt turn out so hot but I did score some sweet unfinished miniature furniture for a doll house that I do not own. Bless this store. Hobby Lobby can get pillow stuffed in their self righteous back sliding door.

Michaels has a really good assortment of crafty things and ways to store it. I also have used them a few times for framing but it tends to be a little expensive so I usually wait for a coupon or do it myself. That being said the staff in the frame department are very knowledgeable and willing to help you out with cutting things to size.

I’ve shopped at Michaels for a long time, but I’m kind of partial to Hobby Lobby now. By comparison, Michaels has less quality, value, and selection. Still, it’s not a bad place to buy crafts and art supplies.

I used to work at AC Moore and yet I patronize Michaels because they also offer online purchases with coupons I CAN use on sale items & often, free shipping. At this point, AC Moore does not offer any of those things.The main complaint I have about both stores is that they hand out coupons like theyre candy and their coupons are a joke. They are only usable on things that are regular price. Its almost impossible to find ANYTHING in either store that is regular price.

Not just a crafts store, it is filled with excellent interactive science and art themed birthday gifts and holiday decorations and more. Nice people working there.

The staff is really great here theyre always so helpful. I call this store slime Central because it carries on my daughters slime needs. Im told they have some type of summer camp coming up for the kids Fridays are supposed to be free theres going to be a 30-minute class on slime.

Art support is waning

Michaels has pretty much everything you need for crafting. Its not always orderly but what you are looking for is probably there. As far as actual art supplies go, they dont have the greatest selection for professional artists. Checkout almost always takes longer than you would expect.

Best place to go make your own things and crafts. Create items for less than youd buy them from some modern art website. Inspire creativity

Pretty much the usual Michaels with all of your craft needs although not some of the more specialty craft needs. Weirdly today they were running a special in NC and Oregon that was nor what they had emailed in their weekly fliers. Admittedly the manager was kind and said that I could have the email deal rather than the in-store special they were running. Was accommodated although would have bought more if they werent trying some different sale campaign.
