I have really learned to love this theater! It is a great gem in the city of Durango for families, movie goers and etc. The theater has undergone a renovation and now every seat is rather comfy and spacious. It has a fun arcade and a well managed and cheerful staff and always has boxes of free movie posters to provide to the public.

Clean and nice. Was nice to be able to go to the movies again.

Great place to enjoy a movie! Stadium 9 is equipped with individual recliners and each have a seat table attached.Recliners are spacious and you select when paying for your ticket.The concession stands offers combos starting at $14.50 for 2 large drinks and a large popcorn. $5 Tuesdays are a huge hit, be sure to get your tickets in advance on their website.Most movies begin at 2pm on weekdays and wknd shows begin around 11am.

The new reclining seats are nice. One button controls the leg rest (up or down) and one button controls the back (sit upright or lean backward). Ive gone to this theater to watch movies since about 1996.

Love the reclining seats and the tables! Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because I dont really care for the assigned seating. Other than that its great!

The new updates and changes they made to this theatre are pretty awesome. I have been coming here for almost 20 years and I am so glad they made some much needed updates. The reclining chairs with movable trays really help you enjoy the movies better (:

You expect movie theaters to be chilly, you just bring a sweater or jacket. No biggie. But I had a Goose down winter coat for negative degree weather, hood on with fur, and was still chattering me teeth. Everyone in my family was almost miserable. Dont upgrade to amazing reclining seats and then make the money back for those upgrades by cutting the heat. The seats are wonderful though! Movie was 10 minutes late to start in both the theater I went in and the one my kids were in. I finally went to the desk to tell the workers. They had no idea the movies werent even playing. ((insert eyeroll)) Its a great experience, just bring a coat if youre cold natured. Maybe one day they will turn the heat up a little.

Enjoyed the movie but you need need to turn on the heat. I literally wore my coat and winter gloves the whole time and was still cold! Even my nose got cold like it does outside on a winter day. Please fix your heat!! Thank you.

This is a grade A movie theater with incredible new reclining seats, massive screens, advanced audio and reasonable concessions. Also it is very well staffed operating well even at max capacity.

Always great to take the kids. The new recliner seats is very relaxing.

Had a great time at the movie. In #1 and there were reclining chairs, little table with cup holder. Was very comfortable and enjoyed the movie.

Nice place. Clean theatres. Screenvision preshow. Durango is very dog friendly. I have taken my service dog twice to movies here. All movie theatres have price increases, this is no different. Nice friendly staff, clean restrooms. Easy free parking. Snack bar. Small auditoriums, so shows can sell out quickly. On line ticketing, walk up ticketing, assigned seating.Tuesdays are discount ticket prices. ENJOY a good safe place to escape reality for a while.

I really like this movie theater and go often and the renovations have been a great addition.

Love the newly remodeled theater, but I do not like the new system of purchasing tickets on line. Several times we couldnt see the movie we wanted all the seats were taken.Put ticket sales back the way they were. So I can go see a movie when I want to !!!!

Went to see The Lion King and it was my first time being in this theater since the remodel and its awesome!! It was very clean and the seats were amazing!! Definitely worth the 12 dollar ticket price!!

This is the only option to see a movie in this town. The company owns the little theater here too, but the chairs are weird. Roomy, but your feet dangle. It is older, kids are nice that run the concessions. Anyway as for the Stadium 9 it just under went a renovation. They really are trying but it really is a chaotic mess on a Tuesday 5.00 night. The concessions area is a mess. An I mean mess. Napkins, popcorn, straws, everywhere! There is one line and your fed through that to get your tickets and snacks. Sometimes you will see the ticket area opened. Most times not when I am there. Kiddos were really trying to just keep up with the ppl.and there seemed to be no direction.

This is nice little movie theater and Durangos only multiplex. It is currently in the last stages of a very long renovation that has seen some massive improvements. The reclining seats are very nice. Once you are aware of the online ticketing system and the idea that you get to reserve your seat that is nice also.I deducted a star because it is expensive and the renovation is taking forever.

Its difficult to determine what city youre in sitting inside one of these complexes. I guess thats deliberate.

This place was under construction, and the new stuff looked great, seats were awesome. After spending about $150 on fixed and snacks for a group of 9, the popcorn was super cold, the butter was somehow incredibly salty. When I asked about making fresh popcorn I was told no. Could be a top notch place with better (really any) customer service. I would not go back.

Has a semi fresh remodel, watched Tarentinos latest (3 hours of wasted time, dont bother going). Air conditioning was not working made it sweltering and miserable, just to top off a lackluster showing. Most of the time, the place is tolerable for comfort, last night was unbearable

Seats are great and purchasing tickets online and picking them up individually is awesome because its extremely fast and easy. But the customer service needs a little more effort especially making theaters food, (popcorn, hot dogs and nachos) were a bit dry. Taste like they were sitting there for quit sometime.

Remodel was definitely needed. Seats are so comfortable. We drive from Aztec to watch movies here. Can always find seats unlike Farmington.

They just redid the seats, they are comfortable! You have to choose where to sit before going into theater, which I dont really like. Good spot to watch a movie.

This place is extremely unprofessional. The staff were standing around as i was waiting to get service even though they saw me waiting. They were also standing around when they could have been doing something like cleaning. The floors behind the registers were dirty full of popcorn. Staff needs to trained a little more to keep the area clean. The popcorn station was also messy. Clearly staff needs to be more productive than stand around and talk. Also employees seem to be high schoolers.

Eeh, nice chairs, but they charge a ridiculous amount for WATER. yes. Water. The thing that you can get from anywhere in the world for free. Except of course, this cheap theatre...

Very nice has a bar. But the service of people is not all that good. But they do have recliners in the theaters.

One should not find bloody tampons on the floors. One should not find dirty counters. This place has recently had renovations. Cmon

Great seating! Nice theater, but 3 starts for charging for kids 1yr and older instead of 2 or 3yrs and up like every other theater. Im not going to pay $9.50 for a 1 year old when theyre just going to sit in my lap the whole time anyways...

Excellent experience nice big recliners in the theater with trays for snacks and drinks. Very clean theater. Make sure to buy your tickets online before going in so you can choose your seats.

Excellent new renovations, including VERY comfortable electric leather recliners with a small swing out table. Go on Tuesday for only $5!! Choose your seat before you go in on a tablet at the register.

Great theatre. Staff are really nice and food service is always fast. Always has a wide movie selection. Sound quality is perfectly loud and picture quality is amazing. Seating is comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms are always clean. I would highly recomend this cinema if you want to watch a film.

It was a little dirty and the womens bathroom smelled like cat pee Little disappointed but very comfortable seats like the size of the theater staff was wonderful very helpful towards each other great teamwork going on that I noticed and great attitudes towards the customers

Grat place to watch a movie with the fam.

The theater itself is fantastic! the recliners are comfortable and clean..the assigned seating is cool to pick from too.Some of the patrons could learn a lesson in theater edicacy, but thats not the managements fault. All in all its a great spot for a small place

This was my aunt and cousin’s experience word for word, but I had to share.“I had the rudest experience yesterday at this theatre. I took my daughter and her friends (7 total) to see The Lion King for her 11th Birthday. Bought our tickets online and went and ordered snacks for everyone. We paid with cash for some of it but had a balance due of $24.75 and paid with my card. After the card didn’t go through I was told “oh ya our card reader is down” I replied “isnt that something you should tell people before ordering?” He agreed but I was then told by the manager (Michael Romero) that all of my girls had to now return their food which they had already started eating he said if we don’t like it he will just refund our tickets too and we can leave. (We spent close to $100 on movie tickets plus another $45 on food). The girls started crying and were very upset, my daughter said her birthday was ruined. I offered to go get cash after the movie or wait and see if their card reader started working at some point and I could pay when it did and he would not reason with anything other than them giving everything back so he could throw it away. I told him he has no heart to ruin her birthday and he agreed he was cold hearted “sorry” call corporate if you don’t like it. I asked him for Corporates number and he refused to give it to me and said I can find it myself on line. I went and asked the guy at the ticket window for the corporate number and he offered to keep my ID and I could go get cash after the movie (we already missed 20 minutes of the movie at this point). After the movie the card readers were working, we happily paid and all was well. The “manager” was still extremely rude didnt speak to us and no kind of apology.”

Love the $5 dollar Tuesday and recliner seats. Moved from utah where they had all this and glad Durango is moving this route as well. Love all the updates, 4 stars because we went to see a movie after concession renovations and the quality of popcorn wasnt worth the price I paid. It was very cold and not fresh, very disappointed, our tickets also directed us to the wrong theatre.

Went to see Spiderman whole on vacation, clean easy to find, small parking lot. Staff were friendly and fast, popcorn better than average,

Reserve your seats online ahead of time if you just go in to buy before the show no good seats are available. You choose assigned seats and get lazyboy style seats with full recline. The FRONT ROW seats we were stuck with we not too bad because of that. They need better food and beer to really make this place great.

This place got the best reclining seats in a hundred mile radius.

The recliners were amazing but it felt like it was 85 degrees in the theater.

Chairs were comfortable. Theater seemed tiny. Nobody asked us for tickets (bought online), we just walked in and sat down (8:45 Friday night, Grinch). Theater was a little dirty, popcorn tasted old.

Thos place was nice! The seats, staff, and even the organization! Highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Have been living here almost a decade and yes this place does get packed on certain days and of course when newer films come out. Renovations do add to the place. But what kept me from giving it 5 stars was assigned seating, (especially on $5 dollar days) and no more icees (slurpy things). Wasnt sure if I could pick my seats online so I called but my call went unanswered. No time open signs visible or information via Google. Found out because of school (being in session), they open at 1:30pm on the week days, and 11am on weekends. Just saying signs to make that clear would be great.

Although the movie was great, and my children love being able to attend “free movie Tuesdays” in the Summer, today we had some unfair costumer service. Upon entry I was told my bag needed to be kept behind the counter in which I was forced to carry my classroom first aid kit, file of emergency contacts list, and several children’s water bottles in hand to the theater. I was not allowed to take the 6 mini snack bags of popcorn (from school) into the theater for my students to snack on while watching the free movie. My children were not bothered when I told them they would have to wait till we got back to school to have that snack (They are all super well behaved amazing angels). My only issue with how today went was that while sitting in the theater several other movie-goers were pulling out their home snacks and candy from their totes and diaper bags. I feel as though this movie theater should have a better system in place when enforcing “no outside food” and “not letting a teacher carry her bag into the theater with vital student information.”

Amazing chairs and popcorn!

Very nice seating, good sound, and great picture quality for the price. The night we went there the theater was dirty. We didnt get our 3d glasses and had to get our own. Then we could get anyone to service us at the snack counter after the movie was half over. We will go back only because it is the only one in 50 miles and other than subpar customer service we enjoyed our movie experience.

Very nice after the recent improvements!

It seems like every time I go something with either the screen, projector, or audio is wrong. The last movie I saw only had the front speakers working and very little bass, movie before that a speaker was blown, before that there were two stains on the screen, before that was a tear. The new seats are a definite upgrade, but a big part of the theater experience is the A/V set up, which they have very much fallen behind the times in.

Loud construction on the roof during the movie. We got a refund after an hour and a half. Why is construction going on while the theater is open?

The new recliner seats are great. The movie A Dogs Way Home was enjoyable for myself and two friends.

The took the arcade out and now have to purchase tickets at concession stands.

I enjoy watching movies here. This is the only theater in Durango that has more than two screens, so this is the spot for watching movies. The theater downtown seems to have problems with the audio, so I prefer this theater. This isnt an old theater, but isnt new either. You cant choose your own seating, they have typical high back red movie chairs, and the screens arent curved. But they have A/C, and they get the job done. In the summer, there are usually free family movies during the day, which is great for families with young kids.

Really enjoy the renovated seating. Very comfortable!

I had such a terrible experience here before the remodel that it was hard to go back, but the new setup is nice and the staff seem more attentive.

They are always sold out now with online tickets and less seats. The website charged regular prices for $5 Tuesdays. Brought it up to staff just to have a bunch of teenagers and one manager pass the buck to coorporate with the rudest attitude.
