This park is Nostalgic and fun. But no one comes here a lot these days but I love the park for how it brought skating to Dubuque and wish people would visit it more often.

We liked stopping in this area on our way to Milwaukee, nice river views, kids enjoyed running around.

This clean and well kept park area mainly features a soldiers memorial area, a ball fields area, a bike park with ramps, and a boat launch. The only item keeping it from 5 stars is its lack of a proper restroom facility (there is a Porta potty) by the bike park, and the sports buildings have separate facilities but those are limited use, not really available to park goers.

Typically very well cleaned, no smoking, family friendly park. No dogs unfortunately, but not many parks in Dubuque allow them. It is a great place to enjoy some sun, softball, snack/beer, and friendship.

Great hockey with the Dubuque Fighting Saints.

Long table seating with heavy benches. Husband didnt care for being close to other people. Also very cold at our table every time someone opened the front door. Meals were all very good and unique fare. Beers were tasty. Would definitely return.

Dubuque does a great job with their parks except most do not have seating or the seating is not in the shade. If you have a choice the Arboretum Park its probably one of the nicest. The park down by the river its cool and interesting but there is no shade.

Three ball parks, skate board park and a boat ramp all in one area. Fun for everyone.
