We only used 1 of the rooms for a Birthday Party, but loved the space.

John and Kenny and the rest of the people at Westgate do a great job of.making sure everything is in great shape and ready for you to play!

I go swimming there 3 days a week.. Miss Bobbiette is the best instructor. Warm , warm water. Perfect for me.

Hosted a surprise birthday party at Westgate yesterday. Rented a room and the indoor pool. The kids had a blast and the staff went above and beyond. Thanks so much Westgate!!!!

Must say it is a very clean facility. I took my son and one of his friends there today. And was told that I had to have on a swim suit even if I WAS NOT gone get in the pool. So to sit on the bleachers I had to have on a swim suit. But mind you it was a day care field trip and the employees was aloud to sit in side on the bleachers with street clothes on. If the rule is you have to have on a swim suit it should be that way across the board. I was fine watching the from the glass window because it can get loud in there. But felt like it was double standard.

What can I say this place is amazing, it’s got a pool, a workout area, and a gymnasium. I have to say out of all three I love the pool the most the only thing that has annoyed me is that I went with my friend and she didn’t have a swimming suit, but she still got in the pool as soon as she got in the pool a lifeguard nicely asked her to get out because she didn’t have a swimming suit, she didn’t even get a refund, even though she had only been in the pool for what felt like was only five seconds.

There is a nice pool inside and a b-ball court and a workout area for people. Its really nice to get away from home and have somewhere to go with the kids when its cold.

I work there and I think it is one of the best assets the city of Dothan has to offer for recreation to the citizens of Dothan. I am a security officer there on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and it is a very active facility. From walking trails to soccer, softball, to baseball to football, to workout room. Swimming pool, sauna, just to mention a few of the activities available, it is a great place to go for fun, recreation. And relaxing.

Good workout facility with low traffic for those who might get intimidated in larger gyms

If I could give it zero stars I would, first the uneducated woman at the front tried to overcharged us to get in, lol luckily I know how to count because if not she would of jipped us, and then when we got into the pool one of the other uneducated racist meth looking life guards stated that the kids could not swim in the pool because what they had on was not swim apparel, note this was after that they got into the pool, there were kids there swimming that had on the same thing my kids had on but they didnt say a word to them, so I asked her my money will be refunded right? She stated since they already got into the pool my money probably wont be refunded..., I dont know who she thought she was talking to but she quickly learned what I stood for, I looked her right into her eyes and told her My Money Will Be Refunded well of course they refunded me all my money the employees are unprofessional, racist who dont know how to count, stay away from this place.

What a great luxery to have this in the area. Free basketball time, free park time, and free trail time (bike or run, there are separate trails) They have a water park and an indoor pool.Also a fitness gym. No free bar or big plates, but enough machines and dumbbells (up to 50lbers) to get a great workout. Pay $6 for the key. When finished you get $5 back. Also has ball fields. This is truly a great inexpensive park (besides the water park, not sure rates on it)

Had a troop party and after let all the kids swim. We enjoyed the pool before today. Today the parents werent allowed in the pool area, not on the bleachers or around the pool. We had to watch our kids from an obervation balcony or behind a glass door, and this is due to our shoes and street clothes contaminating the pool area? Sorry, that makes no sense! There were plenty of upset mamas today and at least 1 less family as customers from now on. Never again.

Staff has been outstanding in the 4YO swim classes.

Decent if youre a swimmer or if your kid is wanting to learn martial arts (even then the sensei is really old) now the main thing that sucks about it is that the gym will remain open while the rest of the facility is fully operational, either the staff is lazy or the fact the gym is mainly the reason 76% of the people come out there to hoop is too much work for the recreational staff to handle

I love swimming in both pools, warm and cold. The staff is great.

We host an Indian Artifact show there every August & they have been wonderful to us every time. The place is always clean, well cared for, & the staff are great

Great place to swim but their showers are getting worse. Noticed black mold and Im forever picking up lots of hair in the drains and thats not just the showers.The floors need some serious, serious seam cleaning and bleaching all over. Ive heard swimmers say that they just rinse themself and take a shower at home cuz its so nasty. Ive noticed a lot of new swimmers lately and what kind of impression is Westgate in Dothan, Al. making to present and new residents. Clean up your act , WESTGATE and whomever is responsible ! ! ! Thanks for listening. Love to swim !!

Members should not have to pay for Public or Open swim on Friday or Saturday. Why buy a membership if you can only come on Friday night or Saturday afternoon but you are required to pay to swim?
