Loved how much this has grown over the years. Very nice that the local veterans are remembered. Im excited to see what they do with the building they purchased for the museum.

Very nice Memorial alot to see

Very well done memorial for those who have served. Interesting displays of an Apache helicopter, M-60 Tank, 155 Howitzer, naval jet the 105 Thunderbird, and an army ambulance. Other displays too.

Very nice Veterans Memorial in Dixon. Has several military items displayed such as Tank, Helicopter, Fighter Jet, Ambulance. Some are painted on opposing sides to represent differant US military branchs.

Its a nice little stop. A place to walk around, consider our Veterans sacrifices and give thanks. I dont like the military hardware around on display because it represents war, destruction and killing but it is interesting to view the hardware up close and seems to be a requirement of making war to purportedly keep us safe and free. The bigger truth is hard to face but worth thinking long and hard about. Its a fine place to do that too. Imagine if we spent just half as much making peace and helping people as we do in our military. Who then would hate us? How much better would the would become after only a decade of all that goodness like Jesus said,we should practice.

I love military history and this park is it.

I love this park. Its not a playground, but my 5 year old still finds it interesting when we go have lunch in the pavilion area. I wish Dixon would bring the fountain back. It was nice to watch.

A somber reminder of what was and is still today the price of what freedom cost.

This was awesome to walk around read facts and see all the names of heroes! Plus there are Pokemon Go stops and a gym here. So learn some new things, pay respect and get some xp & exercise.

Very cool this Veterans Memorial Park features a cobra helicopter, a tank, a full size jet fighter, and an older ambulance. Definitely worth the stop.

We stopped for a visit over the 2015 Labor Day weekend. They have several military vehicles and aircraft on exhibit and it is a wonderful place to see in honor of our veterans.
