Great tour through history of the area. Our hostess filled us in on facts about Dickson and shared local lore. After our tour was complete, we experienced the train room, with a scale model of the town and 2 knowledgeable & friendly Veterans (thanks, Rick & Ron!) who helped construct the train & town layout. A very interesting experience!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Learned alot about the Hotel and the history. The train display was awesome.
Small town atmosphere. Friendly staff. We spent 2 hours in this quaint museum and learned so much about Dickson. Definitely worth a visit!!
I loved this place because of all the interesting things I saw there.
The Clement Railroad Hotel Museum is an excellent local museum. The museum tells the story of the hotel, the town, local families and the surrounding area. Our museum docent was Sissy. Sissy is knowledgeable, patient with questions and personable. The museum and Sissy combined for an enjoyable experience.
Only takes a few hours. Great information about the history of the railroad in Dickson.
Awesome museum..Today s honorees. Ralph Emery and Ray Stevens.
Awesome place for Dickson and surrounding area history.
Great place to visit. Lots of Dickson County history. Great place for small gathering
Great museum.I was there for a presentation on Jack Hinson.I will be going back to see more.
We got there a little early so we had to give ourselves a tour. Other than that it was really cool. When we were going to leave there was a really nice old lady who was very Confederate in nature, who offered to give us a tour. We did. It was great. Well do it again. Probably not. Too far away.
Went here with my wife and our 4 year old son recently. This is a nice museum with a very friendly staff and a great tour guide. You can self guide your tour if you like too. Displays cover the history of the town and area with a focus on railroads. Interesting architectural details in the hotel where the museum is housed. And there is a fantastic interactive model train and town display on the second floor. If you like model trains, it is worth the trip for this room alone.
Great spot for some local history. Train room was really impressive. The local club does a hell of a job. Tour guides available. But they will charge the same amount if there isnt a tour available. I think it was $20.
Very informative place. We enjoyed learning about Dickson Tennessee and the railroad. The displays on the former governor, Frank Clement, were very educational. Fun few hours.
This was an amazing little museum full of great info about Dickson with a very knowledable and friendly tour guide. It was fun for sure.
Learned alot about the County as well as some personal family history.
Great place to learn about the history of Dickson, the surrounding area and TN in general. Admission price is very reasonable and they do offer a veteran discount.
Interesting museum with good history
Great place. My little one really enjoyed the Train Museum!
We traveled over an hour to visit the tour only to find out that it was closed the entire week of July 4th. It would have been nice if they had updated their website to let people know that they were going to be closed.
Beautiful place with tons of historic knowledge. Nice for an educational experience during a quick visit to Dickson.
Excellent guide & we thoroughly enjoyed the history lessons Beautiful town!
