There is a great frisbee golf course here with 12 baskets. During the summer there are free concerts held at the bandshell in the park. The veterans memorial is very nice and a peaceful place to reflect. The large lawns are also good for running with dogs or playing sports.

Tremendous tribute to local and all veterans. Very humbling and emotional to walk through and look over the names and quotes.

Very large park with walking path that can connect to Rocky Butte Park across the street as well. The recently built memorial is a calming space with large tributes to some great quotes from American history as well as honoring veterans of Americas wars. Also on the grounds is the Bandshell which hosts outdoor concerts and a nice frisbee golf course.

The place is dedicated to the US martyrs of the wars starting from the Mexican-American war, WWll ending with OIF. There are dedicated stone plates for all the US heroes names engraved in there for each of the wars. The monument cant be missed and surrounded by green park topped with a US Air Force jet fighter from an older generation which made the place attractive to the passing by and visitors.

I love this park and their events, is good, clean, and a great park to spend the afternoon with family!!

Recently painted bandshell, lawn is kept up excellent, weekly community concerts, frisbee golf course, and the new memorial and memorial community building. It is a great addition to the community and a very nice memorial to those who served from the local communities.

Restroom were locked at 6:00 p.m. ! Otherwise really nice Park.

We ended up @ the park right next to this one it is called optimist park and has 2 great playgrounds for kids and lots of trees. Love it

Beautiful memorial, the Parks and Recreation group did an awesome job with this. Use to be just the Bandshell and Jet, but with recent donations they recently erected pillars to remember local veterans
