Great spot for a 150 person sized event. Historical and well taken care of building.Worth a visit.

It is a great place and has a history of having great performers.This was the fourth time I have been there for a performance like I saw last night, and I liked it.

We visited the playhouse as part of a Detroit Experience tour. The history of the building & its continuous use is very interesting. This Detroit Experience tour was one of many offered & we intend to use this service again! Sean, our host, was very knowledgeable!

The Players Playhouse is an amazing building. The architecture and artwork is enchanting, and the rich history of the building and the players that have acted at the Players Playhouse just adds to the experience. All of the current players are fun and charismatic. As expected with amateur players, the quality of the players differ. However, can Ive never had a mediocre, let alone bad experience. If you ever have the chance to attend one of the plays or events, take it! I know Ill be back.

Great place to see a show. Private venue allows you to bring your own (quiet) food and beverages to enjoy at table seating while you enjoy the play. Beautiful building, next-door (free) parking.

Beautiful building, fun, the men only rule is a bit dated. My women friends wont attend even when allowed, they feel men only is too close minded for this day and age. Time to get with the times and rewrite the rules
