Brought my kids here on Saturday 10/10. It was an alright experience. On Wednesday my daughter told me that she wasnt feeling well so I took my kids and I to get tested and we just got the results yesterday that me and my kids now have covid-19 and we are on quarantine. We had our masks on through the whole show as well. Im just leaving this here to tell everyone to be safe and always follow up with safety precautions.

Theres only like 7 luxury seats that recline in the theatre I went to. The rest are normal folding seats. And its always cold. Its a great theatre overall though. Its cheap too 4/5 stars!

I went to see the Premier of Chocolate Kiss movie an it was AWESOME

I give security 5 stars. But i give cleanliness 2 stars. over all i gave them 3 stars.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating for our school field trip. Very clean and comfortable place, and the service was phenomenal!

The aisles between the seats were wide enough that I didnt have to stand up when someone walked by, there was plenty of leg room. The theaters are small and there were no middle exit aisle so everyone had to exit by the end seats.The theater was not clean and the audience was loud and rowdy, at times I couldnt hear the movie.I wont be back.

I took my son in the middle of the day when he was sick. It was relatively empty due to the time. The staff were very nice and the theater was attractive with comfortable seating.

The manager was very nice to us he give us free passes to our residents we were so grateful the staff was wonderful and helpful to us

I have not been to this theater in over 2 years maybe even longer but the experience was very nice it was clean the seats were very comfortable and the movie that I want to see was great. I would recommend this theater to anyone and also the movie Queen and slim

One of the last movie theatres in the city of Detroit. I particularly like the fact that they have made a commitment to the city and made major improvements to their venue. The ticket prices are good, they have adequate selections for the concession stand and they have first run movies.

The Movie Was Great but the Facility was a Disaster. It was Smelly, Food All on the Floors, etc. But the Ladies Room was very Clean & Air Freshened...Possibly it could have been just Staff on that Shift or whatever the case but for my 1st time, I wasnt sure of a Return..

Great neighborhood theater

Ive been coming here for years even before the remodeling and I still love this spot..great atmosphere to watch the latest movies!

We were there for church service.. They rent out space on Sundays if was a great service

Only the front few rows are recliners, other than that I had a great experience.

Ghetto....plain ghetto! The ignorant little girl taking tickets got into a conversation that wasnt about her and tried to get loud. The drink tasted like the machine. I will not be going back to this theatre.

It was much better than anticipated. We went to see Capt Marvel at 155pm. There wasnt a lot of people there. The noise level in the theater wasnt loud at all, it was clean in inside and out. The staff was pretty alright as well. I would definitely be interested in seeing another movie at this theater.

Came for the first time and my card declined tried twice but I was broke and the ticket guy saw my daughter sad face which I brung her to see frozen 2 fully dressed in costume hair and make up so I was about to leave and he let us come it. I know it’s not a necessity bc it’s a movie my I’m so thankful bc he helped me not let my baby down .

Horrible smells n loud music over our movie n absolutely no customer service smh ruined my experience

This is the only movie theater in Detroit and it is excellent the general manager Johny is very helpful any takes care of everyone. The theater itself was recently updated and has very very nice plush seating the sound is excellent in the screens are excellent as well. Theaters also have reclining leather seats in the front that are super comfy...

Updated, remodeled, I am so glad that you are still on the Eastside in DETROIT! Very reasonable prices at the snack counter as well as admission. No trouble or disturbances, makes me come back, and bring others with me. We can have something great in the neighborhood just like back in the day!

The drinks made my trow up and the drinks made my tongue have a lot of black spit and a nasty taste but other than that it was okAnd wont be back

Rodnell and Brittany were so kind. I had an issue with my coupon and they resolved it for me with great big smiles and reassurance. I love this theater. Ill definitely be back. The food was great and the bathrooms and lobby were clean. Two thumbs up to this location. 10100 E. 8 mile.

Great theater. Great popcorn. Clean, helpful, staff and I feel safe when I take in a movie. I do not have to drive to the burbs. This one is in the City. The seats and decor are very nice.

The best looking and operating theater within Detroits city borders. This location has remained for decades, and the facility has had a notable upgrade since. The mens restroom stays well kept, motioned sensor facets and hand dryers stay functional. Of course ticket prices have increased from former years. But for this theaters comfortable seating alone, its worth that fee.This theater has a casual atmosphere of young black youths taking orders. Youll see white people here, old and young if this means something to some peoples sense of gauging the safety of an environment.

Ive been to shows earlier in the day to avoid the travesty of the late night crowd. Unfortunately today, I decided to be brave and see a show after 5 PM.... NEVER AGAIN. Peoples commentary during the film was loud and obnoxious and the amount of uncontrolled, unsupervised teens was astronomical. I had an awful experience, and had to alert the staff on multiple occasions that the banter in the theatre was louder than the movie itself. This theatre really needs to cut down on unsupervised teens. They go from one theatre to another causing havoc. The staff was responsive to my complaints, although it didnt stop the issue from constantly reoccurring. Overall, not a bad theatre but they need to come up with better ways to control their patrons.

Fairlane Mall Theatre gon have to get it together. Seriously. Its absolutely ridiculous. Sticky floors by the drink machine. Littered popcorn EVERYWHERE. Management and employees just looking on. Hands down the BEST movie theater in Detroit to date! Clean, friendly service and safe! Also way more affordable than any theater within a ten mile radius! If I had one wish though it would be to repair the parking lot and improve the outdoor lighting.

I dont ever review places, but this one was so bad that I had to. Despite the numerous people who were talking, with rambunctious children making a lot of noise, it was still somewhat tolerable... IF it not were the overwhelming bass of the movie next door. It was so loud that I couldnt even hear the movie I was watching. Save yourself money and go to a theater that actually believes in sound insulation. This one totally sucks so hard!

They have invested a lot in this theater to provide popular, main stream films to the local community. Owner is very community focused and always friendly service.

Worst experience ever !!The stuffs were rude and full of attitudes. Not helpful and grumpy. Had to do long wait to get our tickets even after purchasing the tickets online (Fandango)The movie hall was smaller than my living room. Seats were dirty and extremely uncomfortable despite the name of being “luxury cinema” Better pay & watch in YouTube rather than coming in here and spending money for this small untidy hall and also deal with the unprofessional people.Never coming back!Wish I could give 0 ️

I’m visiting with my family and we just came to see Lion King and we walked out less than halfway through the movie. Advertisement was misleading, place was not clean and only the first 2 rows of seats reclined. We could hear everything going on in the movie theater next to us. There were teenagers sitting in the row behind us and using their outside voices, singing, narrating the movie, crunching on their food obnoxiously, and kicking the back of our seats. I’m not sure why this place has a 4.2 star rating, it should have 1 at the most: Save yourself some time and money and don’t come to this theater. I will for sure never be attending again.

First of all its the only theater in Detroit. Ive been going to this theater since day one. Its clean the and employees are very helpful. And you can rent it out thats fantastic. I went to an opening of a movie release written and directed by somone I actually new. All I can say is keep up the work and PLEASE PLEASE DONT LEAVE THE CITY OF DETROIT EVER

Beware a night at the movies may cost you alot more than you bargained for, Tonight my son drove my truck to the movies,came out to find our truck has been broken into... with security in front of the the our truck.I dont know what to make of this really sucks

The Bel Air Luxury Cinema speaks for its self. Always Clean, nice sound system and comfortable seating, thats why everyone goes there and I keep coming back, I love it and you will too!

Ghetto... but the security guard was nice and helpful due to I was given the wrong time movie tickets, and the wrong number. But i was accommodated. And the young man apologized. Also, while the movie was going had a lot of kids, who kept bumping the chairs. Kids that were loud in the back and cursing. And people on their phones and turned their flashlight on their phone on. But other than that, it was decent for it to be in Detroit. No issues.

Besides the loud teens this place is okay. My chair didnt recline in theater 2. Three 2and an 3rd does not work period.

I love this movie theater. The food is always fresh and the staff is always personable.

Its very clean, with friendly staff and comfortable seats. However, theres always a cop car sitting outside of it (2 if its a busy night). The popcorn was stale, Im guessing because it wasnt busy. But it was a Friday night at 7pm when I was there last, so Im surprised they werent busy. Otherwise, everyone was very accommodating and friendly and I enjoyed my experience.

Very few customers tonight and the concession area had more popcorn on the floor than in the popper.I want to support local neighborhood businesses, but this place need some workers who take pride in their work.
