The male staff we had during and on our boat was amazing, they were helpful, informative, funny and energetic. The staff helped fill our floats with air, they interacted with us when we were all doing the activities. They cracked jokes and got us to laugh and enjoy the ride. The young lady that was there was not as friendly, to me she seemed like something was wrong or she was irritated. But even with that we had a great time.

Best experience ever! Friendly service that went above and beyond several times. Capt Sean was great and took the time to explain any possible dangers (like inexperienced boat renters) and other topics. Parking was a little tough but they forewarned us of that. We would definitely take the trip again with them.

We had a really good excursion with them! I rated it 4 start only because when we got out to crab island, none of the inflatables are there any longer so our kiddos were a bit disappointed. That has nothing to do with this company though.....not their fault. Its just information I think that is worth sharing.I will say that our boat captain and his partner for the tour were great. They were very knowledgeable and caring and just great people to talk with. It was worth a 3-4 hour visit.

We had the 3 hour tour on 7/2 with captain Shawn & mate Shawn Slim our 1st time there ever and they were awesome as could be, played music, interactive with everyone on board, joked a bit, Im not a boat person and they made the day go smoothly! They were concerned with everyone for when we left as the water was very choppy and with the winds and riptide they wanted to give everyone warnings even when our time was done with them for the day!

Very bad customer service. I cannot reach these guys to ask a refund! Do not trust this company. We paid in full for crab island tour. However, we did not get the good service what we paid for. If you expect to reach customer service, don’t even try because they don’t answer!Edited: A day after the owner reached me. When I explained to my concern, an owner insulted me, told me that I am a liar. She told me that other customers were happy see I am leaving. I felt discriminated.. When I explained my concerns about being discriminated, she answered “ If I said I was going to vomit, would you able to be on a boat with me? Probably not. That is why we got your party off as fast as possible and why others were happy to see you go. No one wants to be vomited on! ” PLEASE DO NOT TELL I GOT NAUSEA ON THE BOAT BECAUSE THIS COMPANY WOULD ANSWER SOMETHING SIMILAR. This was just humanitarian reason that any person who could have faced on the boat. I feel emotional distress. I am extremely sorry.Note: I definitely would remove my review if I could reach someone in the business who listened my concern instead of insulting.

My husband and I had a blast! Super fun and we will definitely do it again! We were able to kayak and paddle board for the first time at the first location. We ate, drank, and chilled at Crab Island. All of the crew were very friendly and even interacted with everyone to make the experience even more enjoyable! We loved it!

Captain Shawn and his first mate were awesome. They made the boat ride out to Crab Island fun and entertaining. Capt. Shawn told us all out the history of Crab Island, why its best to charter a boat to get there. He also gave instructions on how to avoid incoming/outgoing boats that may have less experienced boat drivers to keep us safe.Once there, they were very attentive to everyone who was on the boat and would fetch whatever you needed so you didnt have to keep getting on/off the boat.Bring some cash to Crab Island if you are interested in purchasing ice cream, boiled peanuts, t-shirts, etc. Boats come by just like an ice cream truck selling snacks and goodies. Captain Shawn has the vendors on speed dial, and can call them over if you want something. I recommend the Cajun boiled peanuts. They were a treat!We had an amazing time and will definitely do it again.

This tour was absolutely amazing and worth every penny! We got to do so many things! The inflatables was so much fun and it is just you and the people on the boat that get to enjoy it no one else, which is amazing as I thought is was open to the public!! It was an amazing experience for me and my boyfriends first time to destin!

We really had a good time at Crab Island and we were able to book a shuttle on the same day which was very convenient. They were friendly and informative.I like how they stayed out there with us the whole time. We were able to take breaks and chill on the shuttle which is covered and comes in handy on a hot sunny day. I would definitely book with them again.

My family and I booked the Crab Island Shuttle boat. The Captain and his staff were very friendly and attentive. It was our first time going and everyone on board enjoyed themselves. The prices are good and the barbecue was delicious.

The crew was great. The shuttle did not have a glass bottom. I believe in the description it said catamaran, the boat we got on was a small pontoon. Crab Island was the biggest disappointment. No where could you buy food or sodas or anything besides renting floaties or a kayak. The advertisement and expectations of Crab Island is nothing compared to reality. Very dusappointed. Everyone i talked to on the boat was just as disappointed.

This was the 1st for my entire family. To do kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boat, the obstacle course and Crab Island. We made the most of it and enjoyed ourselves and had an awesome time we will do it again. The only thing that was disappointing was the time frames. Person who did our reservations told us 1 timeframe for each Island, then the boat crew member gave us a different time frame of each Island but still didnt stick to the time, so we didnt really get to enjoy crab island. We wanted to relax, and eat. we were hungry and couldnt get food in time. We felt rushed because we didnt stick to the initial time frames given. Wish we could have explored Crab Island! As we were unable too!

The staff was great, helpful, nice, informative, funny. I think the best thing for me was the jealous faces of all the envious other guests that couldn’t join in on our private party inflatables, paddle boards, and glass bottom kayaks.Funny story, I can’t swim and have never done kayak or paddle boarding so when my paddle board drifted far away from the group the staff came and rescued me. We saw sea turtles and dolphins. Would LOVE to do this again!

Great tour! The captain and deck hand were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They both acted quickly to treat participants that were stung by jelly fish and come up with an alternate plan once everyone had decided NOT to return to the water! The snorkeling, paddle boats, kayaks, and other water toys were a great addition to the cruise!

The weather was ugly but we had a great trip! Guys were very knowledgeable. Will definitely take the trip again in the summer.

We originally booked another crab island boat but they ended up booking us on the wrong day. We saw Crab Island Shuttle Boat docked nearby, asked the captain pricing & what was included & they worked to get us on the next shuttle out (30 min later)! They were very helpful & understanding with our last minute fiasco & we ended up having a wonderful time! Definitely recommend.

We stumbled upon this place walking by and decided to find out about their services. We booked a shuttle to Crab Island and the staff in the office were so helpful and informative. The boat captain and his mate were also very informative and great about taking care of us while were exploring Crab Island.

Captain Shawn & First Mate Sparkplug were a good pair together and should always do their adventure cruises together.Overall it was a good time. The captain and first mate are really what made it a good time for us. Crab Island has changed a lot and is really a family place to park and just sit now. So bring stuff to do with you. We got a little bored after awhile but that had nothing to do with the crew or company that was just our overall expectations for crab Island. The good humor and accommodating personality of the crew is what made the trip fun for us.

We had a great trip with Capt Sean and first mate Sean. Capt Sean went through all rules and the best way to stay staff out at Crab island. They were both overly helpful and knowledgeable. We had some weather come in towards the end and Capt Sean kept is updated and made sure we all got back to the dock safely during the storm. We will definitely book again if we come back to Destin

It was a great experience. They took us to Crab Island, let us do our thing, then took us back. If you are not wanting to rent a boat for the day - this option is for you. Great for kids. We did the 9am which is was great so I didnt get sunburned at all. Theyll blow up your floaties for you too.The only thing that deterred me from doing 5 stars was how the crew was treated at the end. I felt sorry for him b/c he was struggling to dock the boat and instead of just helping him the captain seemed a little insulting about him in front of everyone which didnt help the situation. I felt super bad for him b/c at the end of the day the guy was a really nice guy and the captain couldve eased up a little in my opinion or ripped him a new one on the side. I work in construction I know what its like to get my a** chewed out in front of everyone so I am not a snowflake by any means just wish this guy hadnt been insulted in front of everyone. I did see the comment below about Becky -not sure if this was the younger girl who answers the phone - girl you gotta work on your phone etiquette...

My family and I made a reservation to go to crab island. However, the company took us to dirty beach instead of crab island. There were a lot of dead fish. So we were so frustrated. We pretty much wasted the day, the beach they took us by far the worst one I have ever seen. They have very bad customer service, I tried calling them to discuss but got no answer.

Captain and First mate were very informative and friendly. Enjoyed the trip and hopeto come back next year.

The shuttle was nice and so were all the employees! Crab Island wasnt that busy when we went and there werent many vendors. Water was also not that clear and pretty mossy. I did rent a paddleboard, which was fun! Hopefully next time there will be more options for things to do and clear water.

Me and my my friends had a great experience! We are definitely coming back and thinking about making Destin our annual girls trip! The shuttle was very informative and the people were so kind we had a very good group. Everybody had so much fun. I can’t speak for every one else , but compared to the pictures lol we had a ball.

Very bad service! Unresponsible customer service! I and my family reserved a boat tour for crab island. The crab island was not standable and the captain decided to take us the beach accross the Destin Harbor. The beach was so dirty. My wife got nausea and got sick. We had to go back. These guys could predict that the island is not standable. We cannot reach to share our concern after the event!

We expected better. The pictures show multiple trampoline and there were only 2 on site when we arrived. The water was green and looked dirty. We didn’t get to the center of crab island so we spent most of the time we had walking through the water to get food, didn’t get to enjoy it much. For the price, it wasn’t worth in in my opinion.

Captain Shawn was real nervous you could tell. On the way back on the 4th of July he crashed into the bridge and my partner hit the corner of her eye and is hurt. The other Shawn was very fun and entertaining. I felt bad for him because he was being talked down by captain Shawn. Without the other Shawn we would have been screwed. We are not sure how we are going to proceed. But be careful. The instructions of where to go were confusing and because someone was late or I’m not sure we lost a bit of time but we paid for and the ladies that work in the bldg were not friendly at all.

Captain was very friendly, and professional. He even helped to save a different boat while we were docked at crab island. He played music that the group was comfortable with, and came to check on every single passenger aboard, several times. I would highly recommend this service and I will personally be using them again!

I have been to Destin for years and have never been to Crab Island and I this year I decided to go. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Shawn and Shawn (hope i spelled there names correct were awesome tour quotes. They got us to and from safety. The stayed with us for the duration of the 3hrs, got snacks and floats if we needed them had an air pump to blow them up, music, and were just pleasant. Crab Island was beautiful but bring a float or youll just be standing around. A+++++++++

We had a great time and perfect for kids! It is pricey if you have a big family and the price for a 2 year is just as much as a child price so it’s like $60 but with that being said our family had a blast and this was a must to do with a big family like us!

Shawn and Mike who run this boat were great! It was my first time to Crab Island . i was alone and a little nervous about going somewhere new. They made everyone on this trip feel good. They are fun and yet professional guys. With the permission of captain, Mike let me fly him in acro bird ! Some people choose to stay by boat and dance to fun tunes, some adventured to inflatable obsticals. We also saw dolphins while going to the island. Also if you have questions their operator girl is easy to reach by phone.

We had the best experience with Lexi and Shawn! They kept us safe, made us comfortable, and even joined us for a tiktok.

The captain and first mate (Lexi) were great! Although there was a terrible current that was obviously out of their control, we managed to have a nice time.However.... Becca in the office was one of the most miserable and rude people I have ever come across. I work in a tourist-filled location and am nothing but nice to people who come to explore and expect to be treated the same. She was unpleasant from the start, had a terrible attitude and said unknowingly in front of one of the girls in our group that we were some “annoying mother f’in tourists” which we are NOT as our group is from Pensacola.

We had the best time! This was the most affordable shuttle and we got discounts at the little shops. The guys that run the boat are really great! They are very helpful with anything you may need! Bring an ice chest with some drinks and you’ll have the best time, too!

We had a small group since it was after Labor Day, but the captain & co-captain didn’t shortchange our visit. It was a very chill experience out to & back from Crab Island. Bring snacks & beverages if you want since things are pricey out there. It was fun for them to call the ice cream boat and have treats delivered to us while we were relaxing in the water near the boat.

Shawn and Mike were great. My wife and I took the 3:30pm boat. Seemed to be the perfect amount of time for us. Take a cooler and 6-pack and you’ll be all set. - cool story about the boat’s flag too. Definitely explore the Harbor’s boardwalk when you get back. Awesome Experience!

It was a great boat trip! Shawn and Mike were hilarious and super accommodating. Wish we could have been at Crab Island longer than 2 hours but that’s on us not them! Bring some snacks, water, and a 6 pack and you are set! The kids loved it, my Mom stayed on the boat the whole time due to recent hip surgery and she even had a great time!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Booking was a breeze for starters and everyone was so welcoming at the dock. The captains went above and beyond on to accommodate everyone and make sure all the guests had a great time. It was just the right amount of time to enjoy all Crab Island has to offer!

The glass bottom pontoon boat is perfect, with storage under seats for your things. The Captain and first mate were knowledgeable and offered a brief history of the surrounding s. I enjoyed snorkelling for 2 hours. Rates were very affordable! Will be back again.

I would highly recommend this cruise! I actually run a different boat on the Harbor But love the service they provide. Captain and crew are very safe and give you the run down of how crab island works. They also give you great tips on good Places to eat and visit in Destin. There are a couple different excursions that take you to crab island but this is the most affordable way! Its great for all ages. If you are looking for an awesome way to get to crab island I would definitely check out this company!

We loved the shuttle boat! We wanted to take our kids to the water park and you have to have a boat to get there and we didn’t want to pay $300 to rent one for just 4 of us so we did this instead for half the price! Mike and Sean even have discounts to some of the stuff on the island which made it even more worth it. They take you out to crab island, stay the whole time, and then take you back. It was just the right amount of time to wear our kids out. :) Highly recommend this for anyone with kids!

Highly, highly recommended!! We loved Mike and Sean, wouldnt want to get out to Crab Island any other way. Do not pay the big bucks or rent your own pontoon boat when these guys can get you there safe and sound. We are already considering booking another trip with them before we go back home.

We absolutely LOVED the Crab Island Shuttle Boat!! Capt. Sean was concerned with the safety of his passengers at all time! His first mate Mike was also amazing! I lost my Apple watch while playing in the water at Crab Island, on our way back to shore someone called to say they had found my watch! Capt. Sean and his first mate Mike offered to get my watch on their next trip out and bring it back to me! We met them on the dock when they arrived back from their next trip and Mike had my watch and a smile! He also texted me earlier to say he had it! NOW THAT IS GREAT SERVICE! they went above and beyond! We had a variety of passengers on our trip...a large age range...and all of us had fun! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Crab Island Shuttle! If we go back to Crab Island we will only use them!
