Ive only been there for softball games. Its a nice park. My only issue is that two of the three fields are quite far from the parking lot and the only disabled parking is in foul ball territory. But its well maintained and a pleasant place to visit. They used to have a concessions stand but I havent seen it open in a while

First Memorial Day ceremony in Des Moines. Great day.

The park was open, spacious and clean. I was there during the day, but I could see plenty of lights around, so as long as they work, the place would be well lit when the sun starts to sink.

Very well maintained ball park. Four fields, nice clean bathrooms, decent parking lot.

Fields here are in much better shape than at the Field House park. But the planes are directly overhead and very low and loud here - both noise and air pollution are harmful, so sad to me to see kids playing right under the belly of planes. Almost impossible to hear when a plane is overhead.

Steven J Underwood Memorial Park has great softball fields to play on. The grass is very well maintained and the dirt portion has stood up well against the elements. As in most ballparks, the right handed batters side could use some more dirt. Overhead plans landing at SeaTac will drown out voices.

Easy to get to from the freeway. Clean. Not enough parking to accommodate everyone attending the tournament. Could really use nets around the fields. Foul balls were a constant nuisance!
