Love coming to this park and enjoying the people watching. It does help to come here in the mornings as its not as busy. But it is well maintained and the Park Rangers to a good job keeping people in check.

Zen park!! It’s thee biggest park w the tinniest gym. New gym equipment but not much space or machines. They need to expand it much larger so not so crowded during peak hours. Beautiful lake outside

What a great place! Its one of the more dated rec centers, but its still clean, inviting and has enough amenities to keep you busy. And theyre doing some work to make it even nicer! Love going here.

Best place to waste a Saturday

Really enjoy the wash park rec center. Yoga classes.. boot camps.. all are great. Nive filks at front desk... and the value is phenomenal. Check out cyber Monday membership special coming soon

I really enjoy working out here. The staff is friendly and the equipment is always kept in good working order, including 4 TVs in the cardio room. Can get a little busy during typical busy fitness center hours, but its manageable. Most people keep to themselves, and are very respectful of others.Has a great swimming pool and large locker rooms. My only wishes are a bit longer hours on the weekends and a few more open gym hours.

I love this Park! Clean, lots of variety in walking, running paths. I enjoy the flowers, and the pondsAccessable bathrooms. Nice recreation facilities. Good playground for families to bring kids. Just go!

Nice rec center with a gym, workout faculty and pool. Gets crowded during busy hours, but so does every other gym. Would recommend.

Amazing quality facilities for a public rec center. Annual and shorter term memberships are very affordable compared with nearby private gyms. Weight and cardio areas have all needed equipment. Locker rooms are a bit dated and not always super clean but acceptable.

I have been a member for three years. I use the pool the most. A great place for a walk and picnics. Great staff, the grounds are beautiful and well kept.

I love this place! they have a limited number of equipments, however, people are usually great about moving around in a rotating system, and check in with each other for whether a machine is free. There is a pool, an open gym, and many classes that are offered here. In the summertime, they have yoga out in the Wash Park boathouse. The staff are friendly and very helpful!

Great place to work out staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. They also to give you other rec centers for classes for your 14 year old to take for using the weights. That way they can go and use the weight room without an adult. They have to be 15 otherwise if you dont take the class.

Staff is super friendly. Nonmember check in is smooth. We just needed the gym for basketball practice on a Tuesday night. Wasnt crowded at all. Gym floor wasnt dusty/ slippery which was nice. They blocked half of it off, so people dont take up the entire gym. Cant speak to the rest of the place. Kind of a maze to get there, was my first time, they do have a lower parking lot in case you cant find parking right by the entrance. I remember thinking at first that it was a tiny parking area for a rec center, but go down a bit and park by the water and follow the path up to the rec center. Plenty of water fountains and bathrooms have lockers and showers too.

Great staff. Pickle ball lessons every tuesday at 1130. Clean facilities and youre in the middle of Wash Park. Would recommend

Horrible experience. Took my kids to open swim and Griffin the lifeguard was incredibly rude to me and my kids. They split the pool in half between the deep and shallow ends and require the kids to pass a swim test, 2 lengths of the pool, to swim in the deep end. My kids have been swimming for years and are very strong swimmers. They have passed this test at this pool many times previously. Griffin said they were struggling and would not explain any further why he wouldnt pass them. After speaking to another lifeguard, he said they had to complete the swim test in freestyle. Griffin could not have been less courteous and ruined my childrens experience at this pool. All he had to do was explain that they had to swim the lengths freestyle instead of breast stroke and they would have passed. Management had no real interest in addressing the issue after talking to them. If you are a family looking for a pool to take your kids, avoid this facility.

This is an adequate rec center and I generally use it for most of my lifting.Pros:-Adequate staff. Some, like Justin, are very friendly and welcoming. Others couldnt care less when you come in, but they do their jobs well and keep things clean and orderly-Newer and well maintained equipment-Full size pool if you swim laps-Convenient location-they responded pretty quickly to complaints when they did away with the 2.5lb plates and bought new onesCons:-the weight room is very tiny for the amount of use it gets-there is only one power rack, so only one person doing military press, squats, deadlifts, bent over rows etc at a time. This quickly becomes an issue on busy nights-the locker room does not have separate showers, unlike other rec centers-they charge regional pricing for this location, and Im really not sure why. The pool does not make up for the lack or room and equipment in other areas. The Central Park rec center is more what I expect for regional pricing.

Great neighborhood gym. I would give them 5 stars if the had dumbbells that went up in 2.5 pound increments instead of 5 pound increments and I wish their hours were a little more generous on the weekends.

Beautiful area. It can be very busy. Great place to run at kindda. People are inconsiderate with their dogs here. Fun for kids. Trail around all of wash park is 2.5 miles not a long run.

Its Wash Park babay! The equipment alright, nice facility overall. But that water fountain....that water fountain the truth!!!! SHOUTS GO OUT TO HALEY!

Nice facility with friendly staff. Very affordable, even for non-Denver residents.

There is a lot of people getting their fitness all dialed in, but everyone is really respectful and kind. I would suggest that you try to avoid the common busy times.

Serious lack of common decency.Its January 11th, blizzard snowstorm outside. I just got done playing basketball. Its 8 oclock, closing time. My phone died, Im asking if I can use the charger to call my ride. The one sitting on the desk. You guys say no and tell me I have to leave because its closing time. I have to leave with no ride into a blizzard. So I leave and am standing outside in the blizzard and the manager and workers are just sitting in there for 10 to 20 minutes while Im out in the blizzard with a dead phone and no ride. Finally they leave and walk by me saying nothing.I come to this gym every single friday for a year now, im a great customer. You serve the general public, every once in a while wait 2 minutes so a customer can get a ride home.

I cant figure out why this facility warrants the regional price. Its small and old. But the staff is really nice at least.

Strange there are negative reviews. This is a great place to work out. Lots of serious athletes.

Nice local rec center, not huge but it has just about everything. The yoga classes on Saturdays have great instruction and, if youre as bad at yoga as I am, are less intimidating because of the wide variety of skill levels present at each one.

Great place to park while you’re hanging at the park. Not sure what else they have to offer but I’m sure it’s great!

A wonderful park for bringing out the whole family for a bbq picnic! Its surrounded by beautiful Victorian homes. Has a boathouse to rent boats and bikes from!

The staff here is excellent. Beyond what I could have hoped for.Sometimes the place is busy, but it is always clean and functioning!

A bit dated for weight machines but aerobic equipment is decent.

Quite nice swimming pool, but the pool lines are only open to their full length at certain times.

Great location, decent weight room, nice gym, friendly staff.My only complaint is with the scheduling, which (as with any Denver rec center) often doesnt match whats listed online and still uses manually updated PDFs. For example, open gym might actually mean the gym is occupied by youth sports without any mention on the schedule.
