I generally have the best time here. Brittany who deals with the VIP administration works superbly!! The jug administration young ladies are likewise inviting and consistently make the experience more fun. Beta gets probably the best names the business every month that its difficult to remain away.

So far I have not had a bad experience here. Wompy beats and loud music to sooth my soul.

First club I ever went to lmao it was so much fun. Went after I turned 21 and it was still fun. Drinks are fairly priced, bathrooms are fine and music is good.

Venue and music - 10/10. DJ’s were good. We went on a dubstep night and they played straight bangers for the most part. Sound system was great.Drinks and service - 2/10. Our server came by only a few times throughout the entire night. For the last couple of hours, she was ghost. The janitor/service guy had to give us pitchers of water.Drinks were not great overall. Mixed poorly, but were pretty cheap.

The music was on point. I felt safe everyone was in there section the new normal was a different experience but they were very strict with the mask just a fyi make sure you have one. The staff was friendly about everything will be back for sure want to check out the EDM night

Used to be the best club in the entire state but was ruined by the renovation, making the experience tailored to the VIPs and ignoring the local crowd. The music used to be the focus of the club with one of the best sound systems in the country. Now its all about the drugs, girls, and money. The new lighting system is only fully visible to the VIP booths and the DJ is now far away from the main floor. Go anywhere else and you will have a better night.

I always enjoy coming to Beta!! Great music, awesome DJs and one of the best sound systems in the country!!! What more can you ask for? Even though it has lost some of its spark over the years, it’s still an awesome club to visit if new in town or just to dance the night away! Check it out!!!

They moved the stage to the second floor. Now you just feel like youre in a pit off people and cant see the performer. Still gets 3 stars because their sound system is one of the best in the world. But they literally spent money to make the place worse. Beta, you have the money, you know what you need to do. Put it back to how it was and make the stage side just one big wall with no balcony overhead. Leave the balcony for the other 3 walls like every other club in the world.

My mother used to go here all the time when I was growing up, she knew all the gossip with what was going on when it shut down. But we never expected walking back in there and seeing it worse than it was before. This is the most disappointing club I’ve ever been in, I’d rather go to club vinyl.

Very unorganized Spent 97$ on a backstage pass and beta ran out of gold wristbands so they gave me a different color wristband and I was harassed all night how I wasn’t allowed up there! Was promised compensation but the next day when I called it was a different story DONT WASTE UR MONEY ON “BACKSTAGE” Lesson learned the hard way

Unfortunately, no longer a friendly environment. Renovations didnt change much besides the stage and everything else is VIP now. I still have not been able to see the second stage upstairs. Not sure if its entirely VIP now or I am just coming there on the wrong nights.

The last time I was at beta was for Pauly D who was about as skilled as a discounted wedding MC. Id been to beta several times previously but never witnessed more fights as I did that night. I never went back. Of all the places I hope the pandemic puts out of business Beta is at the top of that list.

Great sound system! Last time when Ive been there the DJ played the type of music I dont like. Service was good, the restroom was clean and the drinks were reasonably priced. Recommended for those who like techno rap or house music.

The venue books great djs, but the power hungry security and ridiculous rules kill any chance of fun. You cant bring in anything that lights up, guys who take off their shirt are instantly kicked out, and girls with clothing thats even slightly see-through arent allowed in. If I wanted to go to a formal event Id go to a ballroom, theres absolutely no reason for such strict regulations.

Have had many amazing nights. The security can be really tough, but when I lost my keys they were nice enough to go look in there lost and found the next week, mid-show. Just understand people this is an 18+ place so security has to be high to keep the doors open.

First time to Denver and my friends said we had to stop here! Saw some live music and it was dope! Bottle service was cheap too compared to Dallas! I can’t wait to go back! Awesome place!

Show time for elephante was 8 pm. It says 8 pm om tickets and websites all over. The venue was changed, but so was the time and there was no notice that the show was moved go a later time with doors at 9 and elephante not until 11 or later. So we didnt get to see the show or get a refund.

What happened to this place?! I used to spend so much time here prior to 2018 and now that the renovation happened, I won’t ever come back. My experience was terrible. The layout makes zero sense.

One of my favorite night clubs! Its classy without being super strict classy. There is someone in the bathrooms to help put a dab of soap in your hands, turns in your sink, and hands you paper towels. So you always have that super class feel but you can still come dressed in business causal basically. Dont have to be suited up or anything. The bartenders are super friendly and know how to pour drinks to your liking! Love, love, love this place!

I’m really being generous with this rating because I don’t usually write negative reviews. The constant policing of almost everyone in the crowd by security made having a good time difficult. Luckily, the music and sound system turned the experience around.

Great experience! I ordered bottle service on a Friday night for five individuals. Cover was included in the service. Finished 1/3 of the bottle and they issued a receipt to return within 30 days. Came back the next day and was treated as though we had just purchased the service. Same bottle we left, cover was included again, fresh mixers, and they happily charged my phone for me. Over all, a great customer service experience.

We had a great time at this club!!! The DJ was fantastic, the drinks were reasonably priced, and most importantly, the staff were friendly and courteous. We will definitely be returning to Beta for dancing and drinks in the future!!!

Should take a class on how to properly kick people out. They will use physical force for no reason. Beta is small, awful, overpriced, and far from the true music scene of Denver. Though they have many great DJs come through the atmosphere does not match the caliber of talent. Do not recommend at all.

The crowd eased in as the DJs progresses. The two floors and additional DJ stage was awesome because you could move through to a different sound if you wanted. Overall very cool place to end or begin your night! No drink specials when I went though.

Pricey cover but worth it if you want to dance the night away. Guaranteed to stomp your feet at this venue. Offers two dance floors and second tier table service looking onto main dance floor. Service and security always seem to be operating smoothly. Outside courtyard area is big enough to get fresh air when you need it.

I saw Knife Party here and overall I had a good experience. Being an audiophile I was very impressed with how their speaks on the main stage performed. Even though it was blasting you could still hear all the layers very well. This place also has another stage in the back upstairs and is worth checking out.

I always have the best time here. Brittany who manages the VIP service does an AMAZING job!! The bottle service girls are also very friendly and always make the experience more fun. Beta brings some of the best names in the business each month that its hard to stay away.

Im not happy with how security handles situations. I had my 12$ dollar drink half way knocked out of my hands (same incident happened earlier but I was nice about it because it was an obvious accident) but this second time was 100% on purpose, and it was right in front of the security, this guy shoulder checked me hard enough for half of my (12$) drink to hit the floor. Since it happened just be for this, I was already mad because it was a (12$) drink. And I said f u. The security guard thought I was talking to him and he threw me out. I tried to explain to him the situation but he didnt want to hear anything about it. Im not happy with the way the situation was handled. There should be no reason why a word gets someone completely kicked out from having fun, especially when they did nothing wrong!!!!!My intentions was not to talk badley to the security staff that are at beta.For him to throw me out, from having a great time, turned into me losing money that I rightfully was spending to make them money.Please re-evaluate youre staff.Thank you.

Top Notch Denver Electronic Club! This place has only progressed with age! The music is the very best in all EDM styles. The bartenders are always great, the dancers are always great, security is the best in the scene. The management & all the great people of Beta are what makes this club amazing!

I was having a great time here and really excited to wear my new led shoes to dance with But as soon as I turned them on not even on a flashing color, one of the security guards came up to me and said there were no outside lights allowed which I just cannot understand why. Really big bummer and because of that I will not be coming back to this establishment.

I went to see jauz and was having a great time until one of the employees who was off and just at the club for the show decided to barge in front of my sister and I. So of course we both say, hey this is our spot and argue saying to go back to the back because we didnt want him in the way and the front was already crowed enough, but still he insisted he gets priority because he worked there. We refused to let him pull more people to the front and so he leaves and then I was pulled aside and told that your employee said I had hit him in the face.. I touched his chest at the most when he was walking by because it was so crowed. Your employee LIED and got me kicked out of a show I paid $108 for. This isnt the first time Ive been to a show at beta but it might as well be my last if Im going to kicked out because I didnt listen to one of your workers who wasnt even working that night

My favorite club in Denver. Great Techno, Tech House, and House DJs on Proper Sundays. I usually avoid Friday and Saturday nights because Im kinda old and dont like bad EDM or annoying whippersnappers. Thursday is good sometimes. Saw Destructo on a weekday a couple years ago.

World class sound system. Ten years is legendary for a nightclub. Denver dance music would not be the same without Betas influence over the past decade.

Oh man, great DJ and unreal sound, but they crammed WAYYYY too many people into that small space. It was uncomfortably close, I was drenched in stranger sweat after 15 minutes of trying to dance (not possible).

Beta is really fun place. The lights and EDM music are excellent. A few points to be aware of--1. They do allow sub 21 year old in to certain events. Pay attention, dont buy someone a drink who isnt supposed to drink. 2. AVOID any night they sell out. They pack people in and you really cant dance 3. Ladies, ensure you know who hands you a drink--make sure its the bartender or a friend. 4. Awareness: Police are on hand at the end of the night 5. The drinks are stiff--a plus!

Drinks are pricey, crowds are usually good. Sometimes you have to nudge people out of the way as they get in your bubble. The lineups and sound system is amazing! My home away from home!

For concerts they charge you a fee to purchase a ticket at the door so always buy online. The drinks are way overpriced so I’d recommend pre-gaming to save some money. A little crowded but generally a fun place to be.

I would never recommend this club to anyone. If they had a satisfaction guarantee, I would have gotten my money back. Don’t waste your time or your money.

This place created many fabulous memories over the years for me and my wonderful friends. We are all older now and have not attended in quite some time, however I heard this will be Beta’s last month open. I really hope this is not true. Even though it was a dance club, it absolutely provided a magical atmosphere for people who wanted a release or to relax from the studying for finals or maybe even getting past that last tough relationship. They played mind altering music, provided delicious drinks, and introduced new unheard artists at times. I met so many wonderful people at or going to this place and still cherish some of their friendships to this day. If you close down, I will never forget the memories I’ve had and if you do happen to remain open I will probably never visit again in order to prevent being that creepy 29 year old. Such a cool Venus! Its has that underground feeling that make the night seem different and cool! I was surprised that the table girl actually made my drink for me! For $180 dollars for a table 2 red bull 4 bottles of water, a decent size bottle and tones of mixers great deal!

We went here for new years 2015. Jam packed. Go early so you dont have to wait in the line for half an hour like we did. Easy to find, great ambiance. The band was not my favorite but was alright. Could do better on a new years eve to handout swag and other fun stuff like other night clubs do in Denver.

Loved this club. Super-friendly staff all around. Reasonably priced drinks and good pours. Great layout. Security was not overbearing. Diverse crowd. Not pretentious. Overall, a very positive experience.

Been partying here for years and it never gets old! By far the best nightclub in Denver, this is the only place youll find top electronic artists for a reasonable price. There is always something going on and definitely a place to check out while in Denver.

I just gotta say thank you to the bathroom attendant (I wish I could remember your name! Sorry girl) Evie and Slim, the staff here really does care if you are comfortable and safe. If someone is making you uncomfortable they will do everything to make sure that you stop getting harassed and help you. Last night a man would not leave me alone and tried to follow me into the ladies room when i was trying to get away from him, a woman (Evie) stopped him and when I got into the bathroom I told the attendant and they got it taken care of and escorted him out. I go out to dance and have fun, not to be harassed by someone who cant take no for an answer. This venue and the people made sure that I was able to have a good time and feel safe. I couldnt be more grateful!!!! Thank you so much guys seriously!!!!

The music is always so great here, the sound system is top notch quality. The only issue here is the people, if you want to be close you WILL have to hold your ground, as the venue is quite narrow. The security doesnt mess around here either, if they suspect anything of you they will kick you out. Dont act stupid and you will have a fun time here!

Exceeded my expectations. Had no issue with multiple charges, rude security, or other issues mentioned in other reviews. The staff was professional and attentive. The production was amazing with great visuals, lights, and lasers! Definitely recommend coming here (especially for artists that you enjoy). Also please wear deodorant.

I have been here only twice but i have had a good time and havent had any drama happen during it. The only thing is the drinks arent mixed well but that is at most night clubs. The music has been pumping both times and play alot of good songs.

Great club, great national acts come through. Typical club/bar pricing. Two great dancefloors. Bottle service and attractive bartenders.Nice outdoor space, porch type seating and an open area as well. Dont lean on the bamboo people pee and vomit on it. Me and a friend were having a good night, just being loud and chatting up everyone in the bathroom. We were tipsy - not drunk, and as we left the bathroom a security guard walked up behind us and told us we were too drunk to be there and kicked us out. We went down the street, changed clothes, washed the stamp off and walked right back in just to catch the rest of the artist. Just dont talk loud or have a good time and you wont get kicked out. Will be going elsewhere now.

Excellent venue. Acoustics are fantastic and the atmosphere is something like a mix of a standard club and a concert venue.

Hugely overrated. Sound production is trash. Drinks were weak. My girl had one drink but got kicked out for being sick to her stomach (not from her one drink) while there had been many people clearly obnoxiously drunk harassing people in the smoking area who were not bothered. The bathroom attendant had to listen in on her bathroom trip to even know she got sick so the place is perverted. The only person in the building who did a good job was the DJ. So yeah great place to go if you like your music sounding like youre in a tin can and enjoy creepers listening in on you while you pee. Theres way better spots in Denver.

Different music on different floor, great DJs...Girls going there are so nice and friendly and crazy in a good way. I have been coming to beta for approximately 5 years consistently and never had a problem until last night. I paid over $100 to see Jauz and never got to see him because I was kicked out by the power hungry security for “being too intoxicated and pushing people” which are both not true. I had bought 2 drinks from their bartender and was in the front waiting for jauz to come on. I was dancing and then out of no where a white security guard with dreadlocks approached me and asked me to leave. I understand that beta nightclub will most likely side with their security, however this is utterly ridiculous. I am offended and so disappointed how they treated a loyal customer of over 5 years that has probably spent thousands of dollars there total. If you want to have a good time, dance and see your favorite artist DO NOT COME TO BETA NIGHTCLUB, you will get kicked out and they will blame it on being too intoxicated. By the looks of the other review from last night at Jauz, another person got kicked out for the same exact thing to allow a staff member and their group of friends steal their spot in the front. Beta your security is unprofessional and unethical. I will NEVER be coming back.

Great experience. This is one of the top rated venues in America for a reason. They have excellent shows bringing in some of the best talent from around the world and the crowd is generally very respectful and nice to each other. Drink prices are to be expected (most under $10) and there is a free water fountain up front on the main level. They have 2 stages and a large outdoor patio area. The place can get super packed towards the end of the night, but you can always get a good view of the show. Favorite place to go in Denver for nightlife!

This place has got potential for a good night. Unfortunately it was trap night when I went which is purely anticlimactic EDM. I’m sure they do proper music however.

My personal experience was great, it was a fun event (Saw Getter last night) but one observation I made, which is totally unacceptable, is security was extremely strict on the male population, but the female population, particularly the ones that were half dressed, got away with literally everything. There were girls snorting coke in front of security, drinking alcohol even though they had the under 21 marking, yet the security didnt do a thing. but the men that did that got booted, and I noticed a few guys get booted for seemingly no reason. The fat black security guard up to the left of the stage in particular was really, really guilty of that. There were security guards (one in the bathroom, one monitoring the 21+ section, and the 2 at the door come to mind) that were really friendly people, but the solid majority of security needs to be re-configured.

Sweet spot and location. Make sure you pick the right night for your musical tastes. Only improvement would be the hospitality of staff and drink selection!

If you are into electronic music, then by sheer volume of the quality talent they bring this is a tough place to beat. Every Thursday thru Sunday you can expect some major headlining DJ to be moving people on the dance floor. However, that also means crowds... and this isnt that large a space. It can get hot, rowdy, and downright uncomfortable. If your are a live music junky then you should be pretty used to this already though, if you are looking for a place to hang out with some friends and have some space to dance and enjoy yourself, there are better places.

Excellent sound system great staff, will always love going to beta. Have seen many great djs here and had many memorable knights. Highly recommended to all who enjoy EDM and dance. The sound system is so good you can feel the bass going through your whole body.

Wow, this place is too funny. Classic boom boom boom nightclub with a nice sized dance floor. However, it also has a completely separate dance floor on the second floor that has a separate DJ. They did an awesome job with the two separate floors because you cant hear the other floor when you are on one.

The sound system and lighting are amazing! The talent they bring to town is outstanding. The crowds are chill. The drinks are fair for LoDo and the security guards dont have a superiority complex. Best place in town for EDM.

Best Sound System In Colorado by far. Possibly one of the best in the Nation. Great Music most of the time. Sometimes crowded and obnoxious, but most of my experiences have been great.

Always a good time here. The soundsystem is one of the best in the country, and theres usually always someone in my music library playing here.

Bought 4 tickets to Bear Grillz and the staff gave two of my wristbands to the people in front of me instead of the 4 people they were actually for and then refused to give me two more wristbands. Was not given a refund due to their incompetence either. Hilarious.

This place is great if you enjoy being overcharged every time you make a purchase on your card. Seriously has happened 3 times to me and multiple times to my friends. I dont know what kind of pathetic crook of a owner or manager over-looks/allows the bimbo bartenders to steal from customers like this, but it is definitely uncalled for and illegal. If some world-class techno or house act attracts you to this pathetic excuse of a club, either bring cash or save your receipts. I saved mine from last night, since I knew this would happen. Betas sound is only rivaled by its amazing staff. They make everyone feel like family and put on the best shows with world class DJs.

Hit or miss. They bring in good acts but lately shows have been ruined by others that have attended that get way too carried away. Since there isnt much security around the dance floor, people get carried away and pushed around. When the crowd is good, its a great place.

The sound system in this club is phenomenal - not just loud, but very high quality. Beta seems to attract way more up and coming, as well as established DJ acts than anywhere else in Denver. Most nights, the show really gets started around 11, as in, thats when the dance floor fills up. And its probably in your best interest to plan on drinking beforehand at another nearby bar, as the drinks at Beta are a bit pricey.Ive never had a bad time at Beta - Its like a playground there!
