This was my first time axe throwing and these guy made it fun and awesome! I am a very sweaty person and they brought me a fan!!! Pirate Tom was top notch! Boom! Kane was the best instructor! Next time I come to Denver I will for sure be back!!! Drinks were awesome!

Awesome!!! This was super fun and definitely much safer than expected. Our guy (whos name I cant recall...I know, rude...but hes ex military, tattooed, and bearded...and in some of the pics) was AMAZING and very fun and helpful.Our group had so much fun and I definitely hope to go back.

I planned a team building event for our dept. and this was the perfect venue. Not only was it a great time for everyone, the event staff were super accommodating and responsive. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Ive had a blast during every visit at dagar! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The set-up of the space is unique to any other axe throwing location, and we loved it! Great beer and art as well. Ill be returning for sure.

We hosted our company holiday party here and it was AMAZING!!! The staff was fantastic - very helpful and extremely funny. They were well organized and helped our group learn and then compete. We all had a blast!! Afterwards we all agreed this was our favorite holiday party weve ever had. Thanks for making our experience so fantastic!!

One of the best times I had in a while. These guys are great guys give em a shot and work on your throwing technique. Its been a while for me and I was super rusty. But with their guidance I was hitting the bulls eye in no time.

Love the axe throwing. even better now that they have a liquor license. great time always date night or group event. they allow you to. ring in food for group events. they set up and cleaned up which made it nice.

Had a great time. Just make sure and call if youre going to be late. Not because theyre uptight about it, but because you share throwing cages, the others end up waiting for you. We were about 10 minutes late, and I felt terrible. The staff didnt advise of this fact when we made our reservation.

Wow, what a fun place! My husband and I decided to celebrate our anniversary there with several neighbors and had a blast. We are already planning our second visit!

This place was fun for the most part. I think its a little overpriced. They could do better by offering more of a drink selection and also take cash. I could be way off base here but I thought it was illegal to not accept American Currency at any place of business. Again, I could be totally wrong. Last call seemed a bit early. We felt pretty rushed as we were finishing our beers and chairs were being stacked all around us. Staff was very nice and helpful. Its not their fault that the rules are a bit strange. I would like to go axe throwing again, but probably not here.

Axes and beer?! Yes, this interesting combination is executed well, with good local brews and good supervision of the axe throwing. Best with larger groups (5-20), this is worth making a reservation to see.

I set an appointment on Saturday for my birthday and we had Kyle who was AMAZING! Funny, great teacher, and knew what he was doing. My group of 7 was the perfect amount to practice their throws, figure out what was best, and made the entire two hours a blast with a competition. Good drink selection and the Art is really beautiful and a great touch to the laid back feel of the place. Totally perfect for smaller parties and made my birthday one of the best yet!

We had a blast throwing axes at Dagar. Greg our coach was amazing. Fun activity for parents who want something different to do with their adult children. ️

Such a fun place to have a group of people. We had about 15 people and it was perfect for that. The employees are very knowledgeable and made the night more fun. There are several different games you can play or just go one vs one. I will go back.

Our group had a great time axe throwing! Shout out to CJ for his excellent coaching skills that got even the most inept throwers in our group to stick the axe several times! CJ was also super friendly and helped our group have a blast during our two-hour slot. Additionally, DAGAR had a great selection of craft beer at the bar, and accommodated our groups request to put a specific football game on TV.

A group and I went here on Saturday- the experience was nothing short of amazing. We had never thrown an ax before but the staff was helpful, kind, and fun. Sarah (the person working with us) was absolutely wonderful. She had us play different competitions and was such a sport. I will definitely be back! Plus a huge plus it is a veteran owned company!

One of the most fun experiences ive ever had. If you do decide on going, ask to work with Kyle. He was an excellent coach. He was professional and made sure we all had a great time.

Fun and unique experience. Was in town for a bachelor party. Pretty neat area. Lots of lanes to throw axes. Every group is assigned an instructor or two to help teach and keep everyone safe. We learned one handed and two handed over head throws.We were in the longest lane and it was long enough for double rotation throws (if youre strong enough). After taking turns in groups of two we then split off and did games/group competitions (first to 50, short game where you need exactly 11 points, etc).They had a pretty decent drink selection too, energy drinks, beer, soda, water, and wine. Never too busy for there and a pretty laid back atmosphere. Other groups were having a screaming good time as well. Over all super fun.Be prepared to have sore shoulders after!

Did a corporate event here in early September. Really wonderful. Thom made setting it up a breeze and the staff were wonderful. Beer and wine selection is great (lots of craft beer), and the axe throwing was such a blast. Everyone came away in a great mood gushing over how special it was. There’s so little left in this world that’s unique and novel, if you haven’t thrown an axe you’re missing out.

I came with a group of eight people from my work. Greg was our instructor. He kicked two of my group out of the cage after one throw. Said they were too drunk because one had a wobbly throw and one tripped after pulling the axe out of the hit target. He was being extremely over cautious in my opinion as they had each had only two drinks and given that they serve alcohol at the facility. No one in my party was rude or argumentative to his extraneous rules. Dont go here if you want to have fun.

Cool set up and great place to bring friends

One of the best axe throwing venues Ive ever been to! A big emphasis on safety while maintaining a fun atmosphere, sound dampening features making it much easier for socializing and as we learned from our host, Ryan, completely staffed by military vets! Loved the painted stump targets rather than painted 2x4s, this really makes for a different feel when you land the target. Great selection of beer at the bar, and if thats not enough just head downstairs for the after party.

Took my husband for his birthday. Staff was very knowledgeable and fun to work with. Definitely better than bowling. Only complaint is they never pick up their phone. As I thought I left my credit card and was leaving for a business trip and I called 23 times during operating hours and sent emails....still waiting for a response three days later.Highly recommend for a date night

We brought a pretty large bachelor group in and had a blast! Our instructors were extremely knowledgeable and assisted the group through out our time. The bar was awesome and location is perfect. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to do something outside the box.

Absolutely amazing! Im the least athletic/coordinated person ever and even i nailed it a few times. Ariel helped our group out and she was so sweet and so funny - she was the best! Axes, metal, and drinks- what more could you want

Pretty fun. Get there early because when your time starts, it starts. And if you want drinks (beer and wine only), it doesnt matter. The bar staff was SLOW!!

Pro Tip - Dont reserve a lane for any more than 4 people. They charge an additional $40 per person even though its still just one coach, one lane. No extra services or products provided to justify additional fees per person. Youll play less and pay more. As a group of 8 we collectively paid close to $400 (tips included).

Axe throwing is on point and the beer selection is worth staying for.

Im going to start out with a negative since its super important. If you are trying to book shorter than 72 hours out you will more than likely not receive a response. Why? They are so booked that theres no point in responding to you. Dont go unless you have a reservation confirmed. Make a stop at the brewery downstairs or dinner at Ophelias if you have the time. Alcohol is allowed since they do not let you out of their site while you are throwing axes. Very fun for large groups or date night. They have an ok selection of alcoholic drinks and lounge areas.

First time axe throwing anywhere & Im glad we checked this place out for the Sunday Scaries Competition. I look forward to bringing our larger friend group and out of town guest to this very convenient location with great staff and affordable prices. One memory I wont soon forget!

A great time with a fun, safe environment. Throwing axes relieves stress, and was picked up surprisingly quickly by our whole group after top notch instruction. Even the Canadian member of our party was good at it. We had an East Coaster who had a tremendous time, but struggled with accuracy at times.Instructors encouraged a fun and competitive environment, and our group had a blast. Even the East Coaster with his accuracy issues :)

Great date night! Good for groups too; us and two other couples merged into one team after the 30 minutes of practice. Will definitely do again once they get their liquor license!

Great place for a team event. We had a great instructor who had us all hitting the target within minutes, and kept us entertained with competitions throughout our two hours. Even without a liquor license, its easy to go to Jagged Mountain to get drinks in between rounds. Would definitely recommend!

This place was great! It was cool thing to do with friends. The staff was friendly, focused on keeping us safe, and did a great job in ensuring we were having a good time. At one point our host disappeared for about 10 minutes and later came back with pictures of zombies that he printed off for us to throw our axes at! It was a nice goofy touch!

It was so much fun, and everyone can do it. The two hours were over before we knew it. We will definitely be back soon.

I had a really great time! The owner is really cool and had us sticking to axe and scoring points in no time. After a few minutes we started a tournament and had a blast competing. He explained all the rules and kept points throughout. He cheered everyone on and made sure we all had fun.Cant wait to visit again!

Who knew throwing an axe could be such fun! Helpful staff guide you through the basics and once you get the hang of it lead you through games as well. Only down side is you reserve time in advance and it can be a little pricey.

We just hosted our work party here and it was fantastic. The staff was super nice and friendly and learning how to throw an axe was exciting. Totally recommend this place for anyone especially groups looking for a fun, new experience.

Pretty fun, nice price for 2 hours of throwing. No food but they encourage ordering in, and the bar has alcohol. Wish we couldve had a private booth, but when you do the drop-in they stick you wherever theres an opening. Coach sat on a stool outside the booth and barked instructions, she helped us improve our form and that was about it.

We had an office event there and it was great! We rented two lanes (4 throwers at a time) and had our people rotate through the lanes. The staff was great and had different challenges and team competitions to keep us engaged! Highly recommend.
