What a magical gallery! Full of beautiful Native American art treasures. Owner Lois and one of her colleagues Joni were very kind and took the time to evaluate a couple of vintage pieces I brought in. If youre visiting downtown their gallery is a must stop!

Ive been in the Native Craft business for 30 years. My wife and I often go into stores like this in other communities, just to see whether they are on the up-and-up. Often they arent Mudhead Gallery is a rare exception. I can tell authentic goods from fakes and their inventory is first-rate. I recognized several pieces by artists Ive known personally for years. Prices are reasonable. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. You wont go wrong shopping here.

I have Sold/bought with Mudhead:-Absolutely delightful experience each time I’ve come in.-The amount of pieces and choices and colors, styles, themes, sizes, you name it... are endless.-Very professional and fair about cost-these ladies were SO patient and looked with me while I combed through almost everything to find something that really spoke to me and I fell in love with.- I would recommend this store to anyone but certainly for those fond of turquoise, gem, silver, Native American themes

I love this little shop. I went in looking for a new piece of turquoise jewelry and couldnt believe all the other amazing items this gallery has to offer. The staff was very informative and courteous from the time I walked in the door up until I checked out (love my beautiful new turquoise ring!) I like the location and variety they had to offer- great place to purchase gifts in downtown Denver.

I came here a few months ago on vacation due to my landlord back in Florida knowing the owners she told me to check it out since I was looking for a unique turquoise ring. I was so happy the moment I walked into the gallery, absolutely beautiful pieces, I found a beautiful turquoise ring from the 70s that I currently wear everyday! I will be back for a visit in December and will definitely be stopping by for another piece!

I and some of my art students went in here on our way to Robischon gallery. These are high school students who are all advance students in the National Art Honor Society, so they are very well behaved and smart about gallery etiquette. When we walked in I asked the woman behind the counter if she could tell us a little bit about the her gallery, her response was We dont do school tours. I said that we dont want a tour, just a little bit of information. She said All of the information is on the website and handed me a business card. After I stood there in silence, she finally offered up a little bit of information. It was really obvious that she did not want us there and we left. Here is some advice that one of my art professors told me: Dont ever discount anyone, the art world is a small one. Even though we did not buy anything today, my students (and I) will remember how you treated us. Young people are the future of art and they are vital because they are future customers of the arts. Fortunately Jennifer Doran at Robischon was really welcoming to us. I will never step foot in your gallery again and will let people I know how we were treated in your gallery.
