Spent a lot of time in the room that focuses on the timeline of Florida History.It begins in pre-history and spends a good amount of time here trying to describe what this region was like prior to the European invasions that began in the 15th century.This exhibit also does a good job of communicating a broad view of history that is too often ignored. You cannot give an honest accounting of any state in the South without acknowledging the outsized role that slavery played. This exhibit makes an honest attempt to do so fairly.
