Thoroughly enjoyed the production we saw. Great cast. Wonderful show. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the venue. It started when we arrived and tried to find a place to park. Randomly closed streets with no signs or directions had people circling like vultures. Once we got in and got seated, I immediately realized that either this theatre had the tallest patrons in the world, or the seats were some of the most horribly pitched I had ever encountered. Ended up curled in a ball peering under the armpit of the person in front of me.All this pales in comparison, however, to the absolutely horrible theatre manners displayed by the patrons, and tolerated, (perhaps even encouraged), by the management. People were still being seated 20 minutes into the show and they were not discrete. They bumbled along loudly, stopping to stand and look around with no regard for anyone else. The end was worse as people just started leaving 2 or 3 songs from the end.I wont be back.

The Peabody Auditorium in Daytona is in serious need of a makeover. It has its good points. It is intimate. Most seats have a fairly good view of the stage. And the lighting and sound are good. The ushers are in serious need of training. We were lead to three different doors before actually being lead to our seats and then they were still off by one row and somewhat insistent in leading us down the wrong row. I understand that many of the ushers are retired and perhaps in need of a little help themselves. They need less individuals and more team players. Practice, practice, practice...

Great venue! We saw the play Beautiful there and sat way up in the back 40. The acoustics were great and we could see the action just fine. Only gave it 4 stars because of the parking, a bit of a free for all. I would just suggest to leave a little early as its kind of slow going on your way into the lot and to find a place to park (no parking attendants). Getting out was a breeze though!

From the valet service to seating, the staff at the Peabody Auditorium was fantastic! Comedian Jo Koy was phenomenal! A two hour, hilarious tour de force. A great show well orchestrated. The sound was well sorted out. It was like there was a jam in that auditorium. Well worth the price of admission.

We have been to the Peabody Auditorium several times for dance competitions. The auditorium itself is very nice. However, the dressing rooms provided for the dancers are very small, HOT and there are not enough tables or chairs provided to be able to get ready comfortably. Dancers and moms are sitting on the floor. This is my least favorite facility that we compete at.

I was asked to go by a good friend and we had a delightful evening. Ive enjoyed events at Peabody Auditorium for years, including the annual production of The Nutcracker Ballet. Last night was Johnny Mathis in concert. Although its really not my taste in music, it was really good. Partly because the Peabody is such a great small venue. I have physical limitations myself but thanks to the staff and ushers it was a really nice evening! And its my understanding that most of the concert staff are volunteers. They were very helpful and seemed well organized

Not a bad place but it is very rude to seat people during the show. If the ticket states no late seating why do you seat people after the performance has started. Stop doing it. It is rude to the audience and the performers.

Nice overall experience. The building is fairly well kept, despite being 100 years old in 2018, the seats are comfortable and give good viewing angles. Interestingly, the bricks walls are exposed from inside giving it quite a unique look. Concessions were also well priced: $1 for snacks and $2 for drinks.

Great show, very crowded. The dancers were fantastic. Theres not very much waiting room in the front if you are there early. Very noisy and crowded until they open the doors to be seated. It wasnt clear what was in the food you could purchase. Those of us with food allergies or dietary needs stood clear of all the snacks available which meant all five of us were pretty hungry by the time the show let out. The nutcrackers for sale were a good idea. In the waiting area there are places to take pictures, but the crowd was so packed it was difficult. The costumes and sets were really nice and the guest dancers were some of our favorites. Also the tiny little girl dancer who was one of the toys in the red box and a snowflake later on was a wonderful dancer. I would recommend the Nutcracker if people are looking for holiday events.

Went for a comedy show. Sat 7 rows from the stage off to the left when looking at the stage. Seating is antiquated very little room and shared arm rests. I thought it was a nice venue and easy to get to/get out of and park. We were in balcony and had fair views of the stage (very tall person in front of me). Chairs were fairly comfortable but it looked like some larger people were really squeezed into the seats. The only complaint I have is that we were packed in like sardines. Way, way too tight. If they ever redo this place they should consider spacing out new seats a little to give breathing room.

It is par for the course considering it is a venue in the Daytona area. Sound, lighting and seating are antiquated. Liquor is beer and wine served along side with twizzlers and candy bars.
