Was apart of the YAC summer show and was an amazing experience and I want to comeback next year

Lovely theater with friendly staff. Priced right for the almost there, already there and long past Medicare-aged attendees.Saw Fireflies, a four character romantic comedy, well-directed and well-played. A very delightful evening.Support local community theater!

As a first time theatergoer, I was thoroughly entertained by the amazing women and gentleman who were the best cast for this hilarious performance. Great attention to stage appointments and great musical and background details. A fun time for all in attendance. And kudos on the improvements to the venue. Well done.

An interesting variety and breed of both homegrown and earthy , developed and sophisticated characters, of whom so choose to inhabit these Halls to breed life into the plots beset upon them. Nice people, spoken otherwise. Of this Im rather sure.

Went for a Sunday afternoon performance of Man of La Mancha. It was our first time, so we werent sure what to expect. We were very pleased. Very nice venue, right next to the river, inside is well appointed, comfortable, intimate space. Acoustics were great, and the performance was wonderful. Looking forward to their next production.

If you ever find yourself in Daytona Beach one evening wishing you had something entertaining to do, I highly recommend attending a community theater production at the Daytona Playhouse. Situated immediately off of Halifax Ave (between the beach and the inland waterway), the playhouse is easy to find and very convenient for visitors and residents alike.

Great facility and high quality performances! We saw The Sleeping Beauty and it was hilarious and entertaining!

Loved the play.. We saw Funny you dont look like a Grandma..It was well put together production. Enjoyed the story line and the actors did a great job. It was a musical performance. One of the actress first play but you never would have known that if it werent in the program. She did an excellent job. It was funnier to me as a grandmother most of the play really hit home for me and was spot on. Our youngest son and his wife are due in April. Her parents are first time grandparents so wish they could see the play or read the book. Keep up the great work Daytona Playhouse.Very comfortable seats.. Nice restrooms. Snacks and a raffle to help continue thier mission. My first visit but will be a repeat visitor.

We watched the play .Funny You Dont Look Like a Grandmother. Situations were hilarious ,the songs poignant the actors brilliant. A great night.

My husband and I always our experiences at the Playhouse. The prices are reasonable and the productions are always entertaining. The remodeling and new seats are great. The ease of online selection and purchase makes that process seamless. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS...... like my kids high school plays, some of the actors speak their lines at normal conversation speed. (much too fast for the acoustics of a large room where the words tend to blend in route) it was particularly annoying in the most recent production where the intended accents only exasperated the issue. it was noticeable when numerous very funny lines drew little or delayed response, I believe, because of the too rapid delivery. This is a legitimate concern to my continued patronage, but also easily corrected with proper direction and follow up. This is intended as constructive criticism......DP actors and support staff work hard to entertain and I applaud their dedication and professionalism. .....it could always, just me me

Hilarious, thought I was going to bust a guy from laughing! Music fabulous! Very very good! Clean, greeters very nice, actors very excellent!!! Loved it!!!

On Golden Pond production was well done with some humerus moments, but it was basically slow and dry...

The Playhouse is year round now offering quality musicals and non-musicals in a newly renovated theatre with special events at various times. Major sound issues the first half of the performance that seriously impacted the quality of the continuity of the acting.

I want to see the play Disaster there and it was fabulously funny. I enjoyed myself so much. I am relatively new to the Daytona Ormond Beach area and this was so fun.

Quant little theater, with friendly staff!!!We went to the reenactment of the War of the Worlds Radio Broadcast back in the 30s. Show Date: 10-29-2011. The show had an interacting audience parts that keep our 4 year old interested while I was able to enjoy the broadcast.I greatly enjoyed the entire show and of course Johnson sisters singing.If you get a chance break away and take time to visit this theater.

Beautiful and newly renovated theater which showcases amazing local talent in a variety of shows, plays, and musicals.

You are missing out if you have never been here! Her rendition of Alice in Wonderland was incredible!

A true community theatre: organized and operated by all volunteers and actors who are devoted to bringing the performing arts to our community and its surroundings. A jewel in Daytona!

Daytona playhouse is an intimate theater, I saw The Wall pink floyd. Concert- off broadway feel. The show was truly amazing. The place is small, but they put an excellent show. Gotta check it out. Shows are $20.00 per perdon, online, or in person.

An awesome, fun experience!

Could not hear MOST of the play. The President Danny Crile would not refund. This is the worst play experience. I spoke with an usher who said there were headsets in the locked office. Why go to a play if you cant hear. I think there WAS a sound system problem on the right side of the theatre. I had third row seats. Who is going to step it up and refund me! They said their system is fine but there are Two posts on Facebook post Bad sound system. We sat in the 9th row. 2nd post sound system bad. Could not hear a good portion of it. . IF YOU DONT LISTEN to your critiques and fix it this Playhouse will fail. Jennifer
