The line to get in and the line to get out were both so well managed. We got in and out very fast. We were at the top of the balcony but there really are no bad seats in this theater!Please be aware if you are on the taller or larger size that the seats are very tight. My husband is only 5 8 and his knees rubbed. We had a great time!

Very nostalgic theater. Beautifully designed building. Our family recently went here to watch hairspray put on by muse machine. The production was amazing and really enjoyed it. We sat in the balcony and the view of the stage was perfect. The seats are a little tightly packed but thats expected since its an old theater.

Always enjoy being in this theater. The interior is beautiful. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They have a variety of great performances. Its an outstanding local historical property. Everyone should experience attending an event at the Victoria.

Weve been here a couple times with random tickets weve won on the radio. Enjoyed every one! The theater is a beauty and has some really cool history that you can see upstairs. Nice seating and it shows that the staff genuinely care about the productions and the well being of the audiences enjoyment and overall experience.

Lovely theatre, just the right size. Almost every seat is a good one. Parking is kind of a bear so give yourself time to find parking.

My Wife and i just watched The We Shall Overcome Production- A Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. featuring Damien Sneed and it was Absolutely Amazing!

Went to see the musical Menopause and it was fabulous. The theater is beautiful and I love the size of it. Not so big that you feel lost in the crowd. Parking lot across the street.

I love the Victoria Theater! I like the cool film series they do during the summer, they have all sorts of movies that they show for $6. The venue is very cool, I love all the details in this amazing building.

I usually go and see the old classic movies over the summer but I came this night to see the ballet in October. Older theater but has a lot of great history behind it.

This is a beautiful venue. They dont make them like this anymore. Its like a work of art with amazing good details everywhere you look. Due to its age, it is small and the seats dont have much room but I think they are more comfortable than most. There really isnt a bad seat in the house and the prices tend to be more reasonable than many other area locations.

The best theater in Dayton! Always friendly staff and great shows. The seating seems intimate and enhances the experience. I love the mix of formal and informal shows (especially the Cool Films series) that make the theatre accessible to a wide audience.

Nice theater. Even from the back you are not too far from the action. it is an extremely intimate experience with the actors on the stage.

Classic Albums Live - th Beatles Abbey Road was AWESOME!! Full evening of expertly performed music. Cant wait for their next installment.

Beautiful place charming with great staff.

This place has to do something about the seating! We sat through a 2+ hour concert last night, with no legroom whatsoever. (Im only 5 9 tall, not a giant). Seating (at least in the balcony where we were) makes economy-class airline seats seem spacious by comparison. I dont think I would ever attend anything at the Victoria again because of the cramped seating. Its simply unacceptably cramped for 21st century people who are taller than people were in 1866. This really detracted from the enjoyment of the performance.

Excellent venue for entertainment. The staff is professional. Ideal location with plenty of good and reasonable parking.

Historic venue. Cramped seats in balcony. Very talented teens in Muse musical but wished orchestra did not overpower performers half the time.

Stage level seats gives the best view but the balcony seats does not. Seats are comfortable. The bar next door is the best.

We always look forward to dinner and a movie night with our friends. Victoria theater is a true Dayton classic. You will feel transformed back in time. Dont miss the balcony and the box seats are a treat to sit in. The staff was spectacular.

Ive loved the historic Victoria Theatre since my first visit as a little girl 43 years ago. I took my granddaughters to see a Magic School Bus performance and they loved the show & theater.Excellent, helpful theater staff made for a perfect visit.

I attended a Ted Talk there a few months ago. The facility is perfect for that event (even if it is not what it was originally made for). Parking however, is difficult when you would rather not pay for it.

Excellent dancing. The night was broken into 20 minute segments. There was a little something for everyone.

Very nice theater. Only thing that was a bit off was all the cashier left before the event was over and could not buy a sovereign cup for my grandson.

It was a great venue. The play Annie was fabulous and the actors really were great. It made a great experience for my 5 year old granddaughter.

Beautifully restored historical theatre in the heart of downtown Dayton. It offers a variety of programming, all of which is excellent. The last few productions I have been to have had issues with the sound...not sure if its the technician, the equipment or most likely a combination of both. Otherwise it would be five stars! This review refers to the Victoria Theatre; the VTA also manages the Schuster Center and the Loft Theatre.

It is beautiful and reminds me of the 1950s when I was a child. It was called the Victory Theatre and I went to see Cinderella and Dumbo. Great memories.

A great, just the right size seating for approximately 1,150, 1919 theatre updated 1989 with terrific accustics. There are 300 performances a year: dance performances - a Dayton traditional since 1937 - touring Broadway plays and musicals, operas, family shows and more. The theatre with beautiful plaster no longer found in modern buildings can be rented. All not for profit so prices are reasonable. Enjoy!

Always a pleasure to be in the well-kept charming Victoria Theatre. OK... maybe here is a little known fact... Really appreciated that at the recent TED X Dayton.... the sound system broadcast the sound so I could still hear it on my way to and from the Ladies room--- as I left and re-entered while the program was going on and felt like I did not miss a thing. COMPARE THIS to a few years ago at the same event... I spent the intermission in the LONG Ladies line. Able to spend my intermission with refreshments the year!! Thank You!!!

This is without a doubt one of the most incredible venues to see a band anywhere. There are no bad seats for viewing and the sound is amazing. If you pay attention you can get offers for Cheap Seats. $10 seats is a great deal.

Bring cash if you want something to drink. They charged me twice for 1 drink and the people get frustrated when you pay by card. The elderly people working are super nice and helpful but lack some training in the use of things connected to wires. Beautiful building and rich history

The Schuster Center and Victoria theater rival anything that Chicago or New York offer. The Broadway series are professional productions with top broadway talent.

The Victoria is a beautifully restored, well equipped live theater. Amenities and staff are excellent. Besides theater they recently added a National Geographic presentation series which is very popular. It has a 92% renewal year over year. We just attended a presentation by Col. and astronaut Terry Virts who narrated space pictures he took on a space mission to the International Space Station. Very entertaining and informative.

Classic ornate Art Deco theatre with gold leaf wall decorations, beautiful chandeliers, plush seats, and, of course, a ghost or two!

Fascinating presentation on Mars from one of the people who worked on the rovers. It was funny and interesting and I learned a lot.

Great dayton theater, usually smaller shows than what is shown at Schuster, but that just means better seats!

The cool movie series is wonderful. Great to see shows on the big screen. Princess Bride is one of our favorites. The pop and popcorn prior to the show was a nice touch.

Nice old style theater but only comfortable for a few hours at a time. Seats are designed for very small and thin people.

I occasionally get tickets to come here for small productions. I like the venue.

Classic little theater. Had a great time everytime Ive been. The only downside was the the chairs are a little close and could be a little more comfortable. Other than that cant wait to go back.

The Kansas concert was great, the seats were made for seven year old kids, four feet tall. Ugh, if you dont mind smashed kneecaps, it is beautiful. Well try different seats next time.
