Nice place to hang out. I have attended the Jazz festival this year, and it was great. Attendees are on the older side, nevertheless plenty of college kids came with their dates/ partners. There are plenty of seating available upstairs in addition to the ground floor gallery.

I love this place! Its a quiet spot with local artist displays. Theres seats, wifi, and free coffee, water, and tea for students to study at. Elevators and stairs are available but I recommend taking the stairs (if you can) because theres art plastered all over the walls. Arguably the best part of this gallery is when you get to the rooftop - you can see all of downtown Davis from up there! This gallery overall is a gem of Davis and a landmark place that I recommend everyone to visit.

Always a good collection of local work. Several almost hidden areas; feels like ascending an old house. Some of the areas are stuffy and difficult to stay in the summer, but make sure you dont miss the roof. Sunset views from the trees right at closing time. If during the day, you can enjoy the coffee shop and chairs outside by the huge cat and dog.

Always nice to get a free cuppa coffee or tea and sit upstairs for a bit

Amazing atmosphere!! I came with a group from LA for CCACA, and wow, everything was hands down amazing. It is all breathtaking; from the rooftop sculpture garden that overlooks the city, to the paintings along the staircase walls,then the balcony overlooking the first floor gallery and even the art on the restroom walls.

I liked the jazz night. Jazz bands come to perform live on some nights.

It brings me joy to explore this gallery. Always interesting pieces on display and the building itself is a thrill.

While I enjoy original art of many kinds, this gallery has never shown me anything I have found terribly interesting.

The gallery is really lovely and CCACA was excellent. It went smoothly (more chairs/better location for demos would be nice) but John is a bit difficult to deal with. Just the vibe from him all weekend really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Wowww this place a gem among gems in a college that can lack a little... Flair. I came through for a conference and this was the establishment I could find with great wifi, absence of people, free coffee, friendly staff, and fabulous art to get lost in. Dont forget to check out the rooftop ;)

The staircases are the best part of the gallery

The displayed art is excellent. I sit and look at each display.The gallery is very comfortable. The cafe has coffee and tea with other selections sometimes.

Absolutely brilliant collections, and an all around wonderful atmosphere. I came to UC Davis a year ago and didnt expect to find anything like this at all. The free beverages are a very nice compliment as well.
