Sunderbruch Park is arguably the BEST place to mountain bike in the Quad Cities, and riders come from out of town just to ride here. The trails are many and varied, and maintained well thanks to QC FORC. There are two main beginner trails (Comlara and Farmdale) that are connected to each other in a loop, but the best way to get to them is via an intermediate climb, Kickapoo Up (its a little steep, but pretty short).Once you are on the main beginner trails, there are many intermediate and black diamond trails that branch off and return to the main loops. The signage is clear, but it isnt too difficult to miss a turn and end up on a trail that you didnt expect, so pay attention! One of the best, in my opinion, is Jubilee, which has a cool wooden berm section and is still fairly mild compared to the expert trails. There is plenty of parking in the main lot, and I greatly enjoyed riding here a few times now.

For those interested in mountain biking, this is the best place in the QC. The trails have plenty of variety for all skill levels. There are trails that are technically challenging and some others that are fast and that flow really well. There also are some really fun features like the wooden berms. Jump line was pretty disappointing, but it’s tricking to build jumps in a forest and keep them constantly maintained with all the rain we get so not surprising that it isn’t in great shape. All in all, it’s a great place to visit.

This place is pretty cool for “mountain biking”. I think for an Iowa trail it’s not bad. The entrance was confusing, it was open but they had a closed sign. Open per all the trail websites and people there riding. There was also some mouthy local riders that didn’t like that I rode an already made side trail. I didn’t leave a race yet was hollered at from a distance. It would have been a better experience had those two boys stayed home; however, it was a blast! Would recommend to any novice or intermediate rider.

My brother and I were looking for a decent place to ride trails and send some jumps and this place checked both of those boxes. It has trails that appease everyone from super technical, straight downhill, mellow and smooth, and even has a small but extremely fun jump line equipped with all different levels of things to jump. We were reluctant to try his place because of its lack of mountain bike representation, however I am thrilled we decided to try this place, I just wish it was a little bigger. Hopefully, I can open this place up to others that may be hesitant, you won’t regret it!

They have a new park designed for 13+yr olds like American Ninja warrior. Its a great idea and Im glad the city did it but wish the wood chips were a different playground material because some areas have very little landing cushion left.

After mountain biking in the mountains of Colorado over the summer I though there wouldnt be much excitement at these trails but I was wrong! There is a fair amount of trails with ranging skill level obstacles for everyone to enjoy. I would not recommend these trails for under 10 and I would also suggest wearing at least a helmet. At the bottom of the runs near the parking lot there is a new feature of an outdoor ninja warrior training park that was a pretty fun way to mess around with the group. Plenty to keep you entertained if your willing to give it a shot.

This was my first time walking through this park. It was worth the trip. There is so much expansion of green space and right in the quad cities. I felt like I was deep into the country. Due to drizzling rain we didnt take the dirt trails but found the asphalt path to be challenging due to several steep areas along the 2 mile stretch. Well be back when things dry out to check out the more rugged terrain.

Very nice first 1/4 mile main trail. We didnt go any further because i feared my little one would make me carry her the return trip. I have heard this is a great park to walk on and it did not disappoint. We just need to make another spontaneous return with a little more prep so we can walk the whole park.

Very nice and fun clean park. Kids love it they like the coarse and keeps them going. Some of it is a bit advance for them and have to keep an eye out and sometimes help. I have to 5 year olds that love it. The boy like to pretend he is spiderman and do all the lil obstacles he can. Then u can always walk the trails . The mountain bike part is a bit advanced and hard bit good excercise.

Really nice park for hiking in the woods, walking the bike path or biking. Marked trails through the woods for hiking and biking. Its possible you might see deer, turkeys and small stream wildlife along the creek that runs through the lower East side of the park.
