Peaceful place for a meal.

Lovely Riverside Park for a picnic, or kayak rental

The Parks and Recreation Department staff are extremely helpful in this location. You can rent most everything you need for the day here. The bathroom is also well maintained. The river is very calm here for those new to kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding. The river itself is no where as clean as other rivers in the area, but Im not swimming in it or eating anything out of it.

Quiet place despite being alongside busy 29 business. Canoe rental, boat landing, nice pier, restrooms, picnic table, and portals and pogo stops!

Little wayside park with picnic tables, boat launch, and canoe/kayak rentals. This little spot also had one of the best kept, cleanest public restroom I have ever seen in a public park.

Great kayak/canoe mount and boat ramp. multiple tables outdoors for eating. all around great park.

This is a beautiful and nice park but plenty of of childrens exercise swings and walking trails and offer up a lot of outdoor sports activity areas I will return to this park its very nice got a lot of shade very pleasurable place to go relax and just hang out with family and friends.

I love what the city has done with the spot! Its a great embark site for river activities. We need another after MLK to Dan Daniels and Anglers. If you havent kayaked, canoed, or other, what are you waiting for?

Quiet and enjoyable scenery.

Is a great place where you can rent a canoe or a kayak, or bring your own and get in the river, or if youre not into river activities, just come to sit and relax next to the Dan river.
