I have been here on multiple occasions, and each time I come up, I find more and more that I like. This distillery is run by the kindest of people, who are skilled in their craft, and are happy to answer all that is asked. They produce some delicious spirits that, again, they will educate you on, as much as you may have questions. I could buy other bigger brands.. but I would rather get theirs, as I find it to have a better profile and flavor.

Awesome microdistillery. The operation is generations old in the NW GA area and you can tell. Such good bourbon and other spirits as well.

The best and most authentic distillery in the United States. I visited from Wyoming and I was blown away. First off, the hospitality is second to none. Also - they truly follow the old-time authentic way of making spirits. Open vat fermentation and natural yeast! And now they are running 24 hours a day to make much needed hand sanitizer. They are actually putting themselves at risk to do this. They not only make the best spirits but THEIR SPIRIT - their heart, is with their community! Thanks for the tour - cant wait to get back! Easily the most authentic distillery Ive been to, between tastings and price of product, plus talking to the family that owns it while you enjoy, great experience.

I have never been here, tasted their liquor of interacted with them. As a business operator in the area, they produced hand sanitizer which has helped keep our employees safe. We are an essential business, with customers that distribute everything from food to medicine. It has been very difficult for us to get our hands on the essential supplies to keep our employees safe. Thanks for helping us with the sanitizer! Its been a giant help to us!

A diamond in the rough. This place is awesome. We came from Washington state, never been to the South. Raymond and his son showed us Southern hospitality, they are 2 of the nicest people I have ever met. Stop by here, you wont regret it !! Excellent product as well...

The dude who poured our tasters was awesome! Made the trip for us. We ended up buying two bottles. You can do main stream distilleries all you want, but it’s ones like this that make you appreciate the art of whiskey. Loved this place and will be back in the future.

Visited these guys yesterday during the week and found a warm and inviting atmosphere. Chuck was more than happy to spend time explaining their unique and delicious products and giving me a bit of history about their brand. The detour off of the interstate is well worth it, and I highly recommend you support this local GA business.

The Dalton Distillery makes real Georgia moonshine with a recipe that’s been in the making for over 100 years. It uses produce and grains grown in Georgia. You can visit the distillery between 10am and 5pm Tuesdays through Saturdays. Tazaray is a sunflower-based whiskey that is absolutely delicious and produced here. The crew also makes a straight corn whiskey and a cinnamon corn whiskey. Come here to celebrate the spirit of the Appalachian Mountains and how some things never change.

Great place! The moonshine is sooooooo smooth here. Also, the guys working there are great. They’ll answer all questions and show you around. Great local business!

Dalton Distillery employees and manger took the time to show my 8 year old son, 60 year old dad and myself the inside workings of this small batch distillery. Worth a stop on the drive south. Beware of the Italian Moonshine! Stop here for the leg stretch, stay for a while for the people, enjoy the moonshine!

Only place to find Sunflower moonshine. This is real shine...not the fake stuff for tourists in Gatlinburg. Nice bunch of folks too!

Best moonshine all around! You need to come check it out. They also sell the only sunflower whiskey in the world! FREE SAMPLES, GREAT SERVICE, and THE BEST DISTILLERY AROUND.

Mr. Raymond is a gift, he tells a great story and makes a great drink. Well worth the visit. So glad he has passed on his gift to his son.

I dont even drink and I like this place, but thats mostly because of the friendly staff. The tables are absurdly small and the chairs horribly uncomfortable. My girlfriend loved their selection of alcohol and I was glad they had cokes handy.

Stopped to do the bourbon tasting and get some green moonshine. Very friendly owners. Great tasting liquor.

Do yourself a favor and tour this place. If the stories they tell dont make you happy, well theres always the moonshine! Also, they make gluten free whiskey here! Ask for Tazaray!
