A beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. We werent able to go inside, but we did look inside and walk around the property. If youre in the area, it is worth stopping by to look at if you like to see historic homes.

Aldredge House is a lovely museum home and headquarters of the Dallas County Medical Society Alliance Foundation. My children love playing in the playroom while I attend programs and volunteer in caring for the property.

I love the Aldredge House! Its one of my go-to recommendations for my clients who are looking for a unique location for portraits (bridal, engagement, anniversary, etc). The staff has always been lovely to work with and my clients have all been pleased with the venue.

Note that once you sign the contract, the southern charm and hospitality is immediately replaced with snark and open hostility. The duplicity that Ms. Twitchell, the resident event keeper of Aldredge House, possesses is no less than astonishing: expect to receive contrived niceties sandwiched in between strangely passive-aggressive snipes. Also dont expect anything unique or special. When asked if they have any specialty dishes, the answer was an emphatic no. When we asked for something unique, two weeks later, we received a menu where one of the dishes has been replaced with something equally uninspired. Its obvious theyre purely margin minded. If you request something special, theyll always push back with something distinctly lacking in originality - primarily interested in cooking Lubys like cafeteria dishes that are easy to cook in bulk. Dont let the fancy descriptions fool you into thinking the dishes will be special - its barely a step up above all-you-can-eat buffet cafeteria food.Oh, and if you want to try any of the foods, so you know what your $10k tab will be buying? Not only do they exhibit external annoyance at the request, but theyll be quick to let you know that youll be paying full retail price for every dish that you test. Theyre looking to nickel and time you every step of the way.Having an abhorrent attitude, seething in snark, just doesnt make sense in the event business. People are already stressed enough as it is without having to be concerned with the weight of such petulance.Stay as far away as humanly possible, unless you particularly enjoy uncouth pretense.

I seen this place in the news about wild parties here 01/25/18. With 8 Liqueur stores, and x2 .99 cent stores. I would think gun fire at night and police sirens from this Ghetto, two burned up homes, homeless, and racing vehicles are more of a concern for my safety not the noise! Almost each home is tag with spray paint from the ally way. This is not the animal house, but its neighbors homes mimic the movie for sure. I dont let my family into this part of town with out a gun! View seen from Google streets spells out Ghetto. One neighbors fence is tagged by Blood gang tag in red. I bet the home may be half off, how does it pass city codes? Pictures from behind the home. Bars on all windows...... including the second floor. Gulp first time in my life viewing security bars on a garage door. LOL
