Ive been here like 5 times since I moved in RI, had all great experiences but I just hope they could have(or allow) some quiet pray area I can pray or meditate anytime. Last time one of the volunteers said I have to have a reservation to pray here (Which is kind of nonsence) I acutally lived in the temple for 3 years in my life in Korea and I never even think about making a reservation to pray! I just wanted to meditate. And of course I always donate as a buddhist after I pray. They should make this place open to public. I hope!

I saw this crate in a yard at a recently purchased defunct funeral parlor. In the 70 sFrom my window I had in recent days watched these various hippy type people kind of hovering around this bald old man who in my guess was Korean..I recognized the writing!I had been checking,checking...checking.It made me wonder...who is this guy?I thought we killed quite a few of those Northern ones...trying to join the Southern ones, with those horrible guns we had on our battleship.Little did I know that this gentleman would change my life as much as he has, from just so few words from his sitting with me and George for so few minutes. He was just a bit older than I ,and when you had lived so much more of a life than the youngsters. He and I just communicated with our eyes..Just do it still rings in my ears.Put it All downNow I wonder beloved Teacher... Where is our leader??..To many ZEN Masters...To many Chiefs..Not enough Students..I thought it might be Se Hoy ...now there only 2 people, I , Personally would (toss a hat into a ring)??... to choose a true leader in the tradition taught by Dae Soen Sa Nim.People over 65 need some American Style applied to their lives...Just like David K...had to have a 50s style Haircut...He (S.S.) was such a wise and loving man who I still truly miss.,...his teaching is still with us...not neglect it all you Zen Masters.Maybe in the meantime some Korean monk is needed to save all people from suffering...........................F Op s The Crate with the Rivets?..it was Not a new Boiler...It was a Bell ,which He (SS) scared the hell out of me one night when in was just dozing off..I have forgiven him for that.Lemme see ..how many times has that bell been Moved...Katz!!

I have not been there yet, and I really would like to visit. What worries me is I am not so young any more and there is no way I could sit on a cushion on the floor. If that typeof seating is all that is available, I will not be able to visit.
