I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Culver City on February 17, 2019. Although I found the samples of animation art provided in the Wonderful World of Animation beautiful, the venue was void of proper lighting. (How does one expect to run a visual business in the dark........ Possibly trying to save a dime or two?) As I leaned into each piece of framed art to see its content and was about to exit the display, it appeared that there was one step down. The exit area was extremely low light. No guard rail. I stepped down and proceeded to fall to my knees on a concrete floor, smashing my head into the solid wall. I currently have two extremely injured knees, a small fracture to my wrist, and bruising to my head and headaches. My neck and back are stiff from the fall. I will now miss work and any other personal activities planned for the next month or so.Shame on the owner/owners for their lack of consideration for the potential customer and their cheap methodology to running a business. Put some small lighting on the steps so that no one else experiences the same fate. However, I believe I am not the first to fall. Owners are playing roulette with a potential lawsuit. Maybe they are just use to them - just another day.... Stay Away from this gallery during the day. Hopefully the owners provide light during evening and night showings. Hopefully.......

So fun to look at all the original sketches and whatnot! Small but fun place to go if you like animation.
