Great escape room! We had such a good time in the tiki room, there were lots of props and puzzles so its a good idea to have as many people as you can (max 8).Bring your A game because this was a 4/5 on the difficulty scale simply because of the number of puzzles and different things youll be collecting and working on all at once. A great place for birthdays or team building events.Cant wait to try the other one too!

We went today for the first time and we had an absolute blast. Best part of it that its close to home. If you havent been here you must go!!!!!!

We did the Tiki Island room, and it was so fun, we made it with just 36 seconds to spare, and the people running the place were so friendly and kind! Well definitely go back in the future to try other rooms!

This was the first time I have ever done an escape room. We were in the speak easy. Lots of puzzles and gave good hints. Made it out with 1.85 seconds. Will be going back for the Tiki room. Super excited.

Super fun! My friend and I have been to a few escape rooms together and this is definitely a must go. Tiki Island was quite challenging for only two people. Thankfully, we got a lot of hints from the amazing host. Otherwise, we would not have made it. So, if you decide to do Tiki Island, have in mind that the more the better (really). Especially, because there are a lot puzzles to be solved. Just can’t wait to do the Speakeasy room.

Did the Speakeasy room, I was a first time escape room and it was so fun. Really cool set up and puzzles. Challenging for sure, but they gave us clues and extra time. Would recommend!

Had a great time doing the speakeasy room as a date night with my wife. The owners went out of their way to make sure that everyone had a good time and felt accomplished for having cleared the room.

Took my daughter here to play Tiki Island... AWESOME.This is an extremely well thought out puzzle room that will not disappoint. I will definitely be going back to play the speak easy room.The staff were very nice, professional and helpful. Everything you need to know is explained before the game starts and if you need it they will help you with little clues.

Great atmosphere, challenging puzzles. Definitely made me feel dumb a few times, but in a great way. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and helped make our trip a great anniversary date. Check it out if youre in the area!!

Super fun for everyone especially if you like games! Limited space, so I wouldnt recommend more than 6 per group.

This was a blast! We had a good number off people and the room was so dynamic and there were so many levels to the escape. I would recommend for anyone whether its your first escape room or your experienced it was fun for everyone

I highly recommend EscapeQuest. We (my boyfriend, his 10 year old son, and I) did the Tiki room and were so impressed with how interactive, creative, and well-thought-out everything was. Wed never been to an escape room before and were surprised at how difficult it was, which was a good thing because we were genuinely challenged! The owners gave us riddles and tips to help us keep moving, which was greatly appreciated. We all had a blast and cant wait to go back and try their other room.

Tiki Island was a fun escape room. We took children ranging from 8 years old to 13 years old and they all had a lot of fun and participated in the escape. A lot of puzzles to solve that keep you busy for the entire time.

Outstanding. Never tried this before, we were all 1st timers. Went with wife & daughters and we had a great time. Highly recommended. I dont think youll be disappointed.

Great escape room. We survived the volcano and had a lot of fun with the family. Even the little one was able to help without the room seeming too easy. The staff is a friendly, happy bunch who are great at keeping an eye on whats going on in the rooms. Definitely would come back.

Group of 2 did the speakeasy room. It was awesome and the staff was really nice!The only flaw is that the pricing on the website is misleading. When you look at the room summaries it says from $12 but it is actually $28 per adult.Website should have a separate pricing page and a FAQ page.

Great activity for a family or group of friends.

I loved it! My group and I did the Tiki island room and we escaped with 1.37 seconds left. The staff was awesome as well very nice and welcoming. I also LOVE the fact that the facility is barefoot friendly! (I hate shoes) my group and I will definitely be back to try the other rooms!

We came to this room for redemption for other escape room that we already went too. We had a blast! I highly recommend this facility and the Tiki Room! There was great puzzles that were logically thought out, and we were all engrossed the whole time! Side note to EscapeQuest, Ill pay good money to get a copy of this tape of our family trying to solve this room!!! I know you can not provide us a copy, but if and when you change up this room PLEASE sell me a copy with audio!!! We were up for hours reliving moments in this room! Laughing our behinds off!!!

We did the Tiki room with 6 people. This is our 3rd escape room and by far our favorite. The introduction is a short video then the host gives a few instructions. There are lots of puzzles to solve and a method to organize your objective. If you want clues, they give clues at the pace you request. Well be back!S and S

The room was very well put together. The clues were challenging yet solvable. It was a great team building exercise that put all our individual problem solving skills together for one epic hour of entertainment!

We have done several Escape rooms and this is one of the better ones. The puzzles were challenging but not ridiculous and there was a variety of puzzles to keep us interested. We got out but only with a few minutes to spare and this was with several season escape room veterans.

This was our 1st time going to an escape room. We had a lot of fun! The owners were very friendly and made the experience even better. I was nervous about be “locked” into a room but there is the option to step out of the room if needed. Just knowing that made me feel more comfortable and never felt any clostrophobia and didn’t have to leave at all. We were all so engaged in completing the mission!! We definitely want to go back!!

My wife and I went here yesterday (8/27/17). Ive only done one escape room and she was a newbie. We had a BLAST! Its so fun to do, even with two people (very challenging). Id recommend an escape room to ANYONE, its so fun and gets your adrenaline pumping and your brain firing on all cylinders. The owners were SUPER kind and it was a very nice clean place. It was only $28/person, which is super average for escape rooms (WELL worth it). Good luck!

I’ve been wanting to go for a while and we decided to go on a whim and I’m sure glad we did! It was the 2 of us, and I was worried about being paired with other people (because of me being just socially awkward overall), and we were paired with 3 strangers. I thought it would be weird, but not at all!! We all clicked, and beat the room; it was SO much fun. I definitely want to go again for their other room (and the next one they’re making). Super great value, it may ‘only’ be an hour but you don’t even notice the time (except for the count-down aspect). Made you think, use all of your senses, and get to know really cool people to have a genuinely good time. I would, for-sure, recommend doing this!

I had the chance to speak to the owner of this location and his passion for this industry is unquestionable. I highly recommend this location to anyone and everyone looking for a unique and exciting escape room.

Lots of fun to problem solve /find clues. Very immersive and exciting scenarios. It was a little off-setting that the host/clerk was walking around barefoot.

I had only been to one escape room before visiting EscapeQuest in Crystal Lake with some family members. Just the previous day we partook of an escape room experience and it became apparent after about a half hour that we were either really dumb (still debatable) or there was no way to for us to have progressed out of the first room without clues that weren’t inside the room. That was confirmed by the employee when questioned before leaving. So my expectations for this genre of entertainment had been lowered.#However I was pleasantly surprised with our trip to this establishment as from the moment of our arrival the experience proved to be head and shoulders above my previous escape room experience.My niece is a level 5 local guide and we informed the employees of this fact immediately so that they’d not be caught off guard should she need to shred them to pieces in her review, as she is merciless when it comes to sub par experiences. It’s frightening to watch her pick apart any aspect of an experience that doesn’t meet the standards. A poor review from her could cripple a business in mere days, or so I have heard.#However, the two employees who greeted us at the door did not cower when they learned that the stakes of this particular evening were now far greater than possibly any other evening before. They immediately put on their game faces and showed great confidence in their product.This experience could not have been more of a polar opposite of my previous escape room experience just a day before. The rules and basic concepts were explained to us via a short video in a comfy room. The guide who I believe designed the room we were to experience was helpful in answering all our questions.Our escape room experience was Tiki Island. I’ll not divulge all the secrets of the room, but I can assure you that it’s very well done in terms of story and the puzzles had the right amount of difficulty to keep you working the whole time. I think my niece’s google reviewer accreditation might have influenced them to give us more time and hints to ensure we finished the room, which was probably wise of them.We were there for roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes and that whole time I felt engrossed in the puzzles and search for keys and clues to facilitate our escape and ensure that the volcano did not incinerate us via death by molten lava. More importantly the puzzles required a fair amount of cooperation and teamwork, which made the experience more enjoyable. It also created tension in our group as we each thought we were the smarter one at one time or another and I’d say it’s fair to say there were moments when the pressure of the game had us ready to strangle each other. I’m unsure if it was the fact that we were likely being filmed that prevented a family brawl or if we had matured enough since the last argument to know better… but ya, no official fights, we kind of just teetered on the edge of a few major ones.However after the pressure was off and we departed, we spent most of the night laughing and reliving the funnier moments of the experience over some well traveled Tecate.I highly recommend this escape room and I’d imagine it’d be a good team building experience for coworkers. I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about the experience and I found the employees cheerful and their sense of humor was greatly appreciated in both the design of the room and their hospitality in dealing with us. Don’t hesitate to visit this place, it’s worth every penny.

Ive now done both rooms. The decor for each fit the theme well as did the puzzles & riddles.My group got out of the Speakeasy just in time (22 seconds).
