Love it here! So peaceful and relaxing. Loads of fun things for the family to do and a wonderful, friendly staff thats always ready to help you. The cabins were clean and well serviced. The cottages are the same, and we will definitely be back again!

I absolutely love this place. The local natives are so warming and the peace and serenity is to die for. Second time here and will certainly return without a shadow of a doubt. A definite recommend, especially if you love a great golf course.

Live here, lot of recreation to keep you busy. Weather is good enough to play golf in the winter. Living expenses are very reasonable.

I have been here for a little over month now and its amazing how nice people are ..I love living here..also been catching fish havent had time to golf yet ..so much to do here ...my opinion LAKE TANSI is the only place to be

The beach cabins were well equipped and comfortable. We were in a cabin where the beach faces west so the sunset was beautiful. Would stay again and again.

We loved it here, beautiful views, beautiful patio and our own boat dock. Stayed here for the 4th of July week with a group of people, all using the luxury cabins, we will try to make this an annual occasion. Under $200 a night for a 2-bedroom 2-bathroom cabin on a lake is a great deal. Fully furnished with Linens, dishes shopping close by. Boat rentals and pontoons available, paddle boats as well, all rates are super reasonable.

Absolutely loved our weekend trip from va!! The lake, the pool, the beach, the cabins everything was an absolute delight. Definitely kept the kids occupied all weekend without an hassel! I gave it 5 stars because its definitely well deserved!!

The Lake itself was nasty and needed to be cleaned up a little but the set up and volleyball playing area was fun and the Nicks Italian Ice Restaurant are was delicious.

Beautiful place, so many activities for children as well as adults. Plan to visit here more in the future.

Our second time here and will keep coming back. Rained last 2 days but last time rained for about 10 minutes the time we were here. Rental boat very good at a good price.

Nice, quiet place with large, roomy cabins that have back decks overlooking the lake. Their health club has everything you need including a pool, racket ball, tennis, and basketball courts. There are also personal docks behind some of the cabins and if all that werent enough, the place is a renowned golf resort that also features a decent-sized man-made beach on a corner of the lake. Your time would not be wasted simply hanging out in their cabins which feature very nice stone fireplaces, large flat-screen TVs, dishwashers, ovens w/ stove tops, microwaves, and multiple bathrooms. Highly recommended; Tansi is a wonderful place to get away.

Stayed at cabin for two nights, very roomy, lake in the back. Good location to get in some fishing and golf.

Quiet and relaxing!!!

We live in the Tansi Community and rented a cabin in the lake last weekend for a girls weekend. Off season prices are excellent, cabins are clean and well maintained in a beautiful peaceful lakeside setting. Great restaurants here in the community and only 10-15 minutes into town for more choices.

This was a beautifully, well maintained place! It was our first time here and we had a really great time. Except the ranger followed us around the whole time. I suppose if youre not a regular they dont feel comfortable with you on their course.

So much to do. We live in Crossville and spend most of our time in tansi

We stayed here about 6 months and really enjoyed the weather. The people are nice and we really liked that the police were so close. Kids can really have a good time here.

P.O.A needs to get after the places that look like trash. Lawn at least 3 ft tall. Lots of empty run down places not being attended too.

Weve lived here for 2 years. Good amenities, great place for kids and visiting family. Nice outdoors experience in many neighborhoods with lots of wildlife. Near really nice State park. Lots of golfing opportunities.

Teed of weekday morning, myself and my wife. By the third hole we were at a pace of over five hours. Asked the people in front if we could play through as several holes were open. They were members, refused, and called the clubhouse. The manger came out to us, verbally harassed us, and told us to play at this pace, or leave. We left. Will never go back.Talked to others at the local resort we were staying at, and were told thatThey were not surprised, that was common. There are several nice, and hospitable courses in they area. Skip this place !.

Golf course is in very good condition, especially considering the lack of rain of late.

Mediorce festival show we participated and not sure will return. Made very little money.

Some areas of Tansi are nice, but other areas not so nice. The POA needs to enforce their Covenants. Roads are very bad in most places. Tansi security is the best. They are very friendly and always keep a watchful eye out for people. The Rec Hall can really use an overhaul. Theres really not much to do in there if there is not an event planned. They need to put more things for kids to do in there.

Beautiful place with waterfront views, everyone was very pleasant, so much to do on an off the water. Cant wait to go back.

Terrible the worst place I have been to , condo smells like mildew , the place is falling apart , no towels at the one pool that’s opened and not allowed to drink a beer by the pool when your on vacation??

Older buildings but, they are making small changes. It was very clean. The area is VERY BEAUTIFUL and clean.

Good entertainment, good folks! Ive been making great memories here for 30 years. Beaches, restaurants,golf, Thunderbird recreation center, outside and inside activities. Indoor pool, outdoor pool. Come check it out for yourself.

Wonderful cottages, wonderful lake, wonder staff. They were helpful in so many ways. My family had a wonderful time even though it was for my Dads funeral and interment. All the relatives were very inpressed with all accomodations. I LOVE TANSI LAKE. WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK AGAIN.

They have really made this place quite nice to come and relax. We like to bring the kayaks out on the lake and tool around.

Nice place to stay - Cabins are well maintained. However, it is difficult to contact the rental office. They rarely answer the phone. Would be better if you could reserve a cabin online v/s calling. Antiquated website, since you cannot reserve online. Their reservations options on the website needs attention and upgraded to this century. Once you get a cabin, they are nice - but getting one is an issue.

We are members out at Tansi and to have a birthday party at the indoor pool with a room is 240.00!!!!! Really. FYI your pool isnt that great. Faiefield is much bigger and nicer and it is less than 100 for a room and the pool. Crazy.

The Cabin #5 was perfect ! It was clean , Cody warm, all amenities the only complaint I can offer is the wifi is terrible!! For those who may have the need to use this service while on vacation there. I would certainly look for an alternative. I ended up having to go into town and use the public librarys wifi service to handle some business affairs that unfortunately popped up. Otherwise this location and facility could not have been better!!

Highly recommend you skip this course if golfing in the area. Just moved into the Middle TN area and teaching my boys ages 8 and 9 the game of golf and wanted to take them to what was supposed to be a nice course. Booked a tee time and prepaid and drove 2 hours to get there and we were ready to play. Went to check in for tee time and was then informed that the kids were not allowed. What? Since when is that not ok? I play professional golf and have played all over the US and have never been treated like this before. They have payed with me at Pebble Beach, Torrey Pines, Harbour Town, Summerlin and many other professional courses nationwide. Was hoping to play all the courses in the area and join as a member to support my community as I just moved to the area but I guess Ill have to look elsewhere. Mountain Ridge Golf Club in Monterey was very happy to have me come down and play a round and even let the kids play for free! Going to play the Country Club in Cookeville today, they sounded very welcoming for me and my sons as well. Been here 2 weeks and dont think Ill be returning to Crossville.
