Twin Hills Park holds a lot of memories for me and my family. There have been so many changes to the park and many other parts of the area. This park is handicap accessable!! I was last here at dusk and dark so that is why the photos are dark. They have two sides. The side by the college area has a walking path around it with a gazebo to walk out and view the pond. It may have a play area for children but I am not sure on that. It does have a pavilion to host parties or social gatherings at. Now on the other side of the road they have a pond, dog park, game fields, and a park. The pond is pretty neat complete with a poorly lit bridge they could do so much better with. People do fish in the pond. There are many many many ducks around both ponds! The children love to feed them! At the childrens park it is one big splash pad in the summer and a huge hit with many places for social gatherings. Pavilions are plentiful and swings are just up the hill by the slighty wooded area. There are not lights up by the bigger swings! I have posted photos of the park. There are two game fields and basketball and tennis courts to play on. The trains cross right behind the park management building. The seats for football and soccer games are concrete, so bring a padded chair or blanket! The dog park is fairly new. It has a training/agility area on both sides. There is a shaded area to sit at as well. These are my favorite parks to bring my children to at any time. We will definitely be back plus it is free!! Has plenty of parking as well!!!

A great area in a small town that hosts a lot of activity areas. There is a small dog park, rest area, picnic tables, a small foodball field, kids play area, basketball and tennis courts, all surrounding a small lake. There are lots of turtles, coy and ducks there all hoping for visitors to drop food. Please be careful to clean up after yourselves so that trash does not blow into the lake. There are a couple trash cans but they fill up quickly. A generally nice community property.

Sun was present. Lots of nice people. Soo many beautiful doggies large and small and they all got along famously. My service doggie has had cabin fever , hes been sad and has not been eating. This evening, he ate all his dinner. GooD Boy. Thank you crestview for providing a place where we can still allow our furry members of our families to blow off some steam during this pandemic.Thinking out loud.....what if our retired seniors who have legitimate service dogs were to get a little monetary assistance with vaccines. That would be a great help.

Lovely large park in Crestview. Plenty of parking and lots to do. There are a couple of ponds with ducks and geese. Feel free to feed them but be sure to do it down by the waters edge. The trail around the one pond is a half mile. Combine that with the exercise machines and youll have a nice little workout. Looking for a spot to hang out with your friends and let the little ones play? There are pavilions with picnic tables and grills located near the restrooms and a younger kids playground.Just want to take a break? Rest your bones on one of the many benches around the pond. Bring the dogs and take them for a walk around the park or socialize them at the dog park. Please make sure to pick up after them! There are sports fields as well. Since Im not much of a sports person, I dont know what the seasons or sports are that are played there. Im sure you can find something about that somewhere else. Swimming is not allowed in the ponds. Fishing is allowed for the under 16 crowd and only those 16+ when fishing with an appropriately aged kiddo.I visited a couple of weeks before Christmas and the park was decorated with lights and greenery. Happy holidays!

So normally I love this park.. Butt on this trip it was very unpleasent. So we decided to go for a walk with the kids before going to work. My 2 year old have a hold of the keys with her while in her stroller we walk up to the dock and she wants to get out to look at the turtles in the turtles in the water with her sister. So my husband lets her out of the stroller and neither of us realize that shes holding onto the keys. Next thing I know she put the keys down on the dock and she shuffling her feet so before I can reach down to pick them up I watch her tiny foot kick them straight into the water at the end of the dock. This is when my heart hit my stomach and I felt like I was about to puke. See my car is a push to start and we only have one set of keys so without this key it would cost me $250 to have someone come out and unlock the car and then reprogram it to a new fob. I called several places for this price while pacing up and down the dock. So I decided that while I was waiting I would try to call my ex and see if he could bring his scuba diving mask. Luckily he answered the phone and brought the mask and a towel so I could try to go in and get it I tried walking along the dock to the end and my feet and brand new shoes for sinking in and I couldnt go any further. Next my ex goes in and try to get to the bottom but cant see anything and has anxiety so he has to stop trying. So finally my husband climbs over the railing and just jumps off the end of the dock. At home he cant find anything sitting on a flat surface directly in front of his face so I had absolutely no hope that he would find the key. I directed him to exactly where I saw the keys go in and after just two or three times trying he finds them. Even though the keys were in the water for quite some time the fob still work and we were able to get back home.

This place not only has a park for the children to play, it also offers quiet areas for adults. It features areas around the park for picnics with the little ones & separate areas the adults could have a quiet couple picnic as well.It offers tennis courts, basketball courts, and a football field. It also has a gymnasium with separate parking. The park has two ponds, where fishing is permitted with a license. You can feed the ducks at both & the park on the playground side has a boardwalk style bridge that crosses the pond. It has a nice walk trail around the one pond (which is paved) for those who are interested in power walking, or just a casual walk with with your little ones.It now also features a dog park area for giving your pooch some training lessons, or a quick kennel visit.I definitely recommend this park as the nicest one in Crestview.

This a nice city park with a couple of ponds, a childrens play area, an enclosed dog area, and a paved walking path that goes around one of the ponds. Using that path, as well as other sidewalks and park roads, its possible to make a loop route that is just over a mile around the whole area. There is also a gymnasium on one side.

We went to the Crestview Childrens Park (playground/splash pad) which is part of Twin Hills Park. It had covered tables where we were able to eat lunch and let the kids play. I called and left a message with the parks department because my only complaint is that the restrooms do not have handles on the inside to be able to pull the door all the way closed so you can lock it (deadbolt).
