We stayed for a short amount of time but the place is cozy, the host was very friendly, the wines that we sampled were delicious, and the dog walking freely by the seating area was adorable.

Was supposed to open at noon. Arrived about ten after and no one was there. We were getting ready to leave and someone showed up. Waited probably two minutes to get out of the truck and then went to the door. Waited another five minutes and they never unlocked the door. He obviously didnt want our business.

I have been to Coal Creek Winery many times. The owners are open and friendly. The wines range from very sweet dessert wines to very dry reds, like the Norton. There is something for everyone at Coal Creek. They have an outdoor patio for relaxing with a glass. Snacks are often available. Enjoy a tasting, share a glass with a friend, and bring home a bottle (or several) of your favorite(s).
