Every fall my wife and I drive across the state to walk on the beautifully constructed and maintained Trestle Bike and Bridle Path in Coventry. My wife has had trouble walking recently so I look for places where I can push her in her wheel chair and there is no better place than the Trestle Trail in the fall. The path is very flat and incredibly smooth. It is usually filled with families walking, biking and roller blading. I like to take photos and there is plenty to shoot on crisp fall days.
Excellent bike path, the west end of the Washington Secondary Bike Path. Excellent sights, clean, well maintained and not busy early in the day.
Great place to take the kids for exercise
A great trail to hike as you are always alone, hardly meet anyone and it is so peaceful that you can hear all the sounds fo the neighborhood. Even though you are next to civilization and lots of it, you feel like you are in the middle of the forest walking the Appalachian trail. I highly enjoy it and highly recommend it.
Got a new bike and got to explore a part of the bike path. Hope to explore more of the area.
