This is a fantastic park. There are several trails that you can run or bike. If you start on the upper parking lot and round down hill, around the lake, through the woods and back you can easily put in 5 miles. You can fish in the little lake off of a pier or in a small non-motorized boat. Theres a childrens playground and the park is dog friendly.

An asset to Cottage Grove, someone put in a lot of effort to make the park seem larger in area than it is, at times it seems small because it is close to the highway, but at times it becomes strangely quiet and beautiful. Thanks probably to the protection of hills and slopes, it stays predominately peaceful and open overall.

Well maintained trails. Plenty of paved and unpaved trails to walk. The new visitor shelter being built will put the cherry on the top!

Would have been 5 stars a year ago. Im pretty disappointed in the renovation effort and them shrinking the playground / turning a grilling area and nice trees in to a parking lot. Still a beautiful park with lots of walking trails and a calm, boat free lake to fish or kayak in

Great park. One paved trail. Multiple other trails ranging from a half mile to 4 moles or so. Plenty of parking. A nice play ground for kids. Good fishing dock too.

Ravine Park in Cottage Grove is beautiful! There are paved walking trails (baby stroller friendly) as well as unpaved hiking trails. Ravine lake is full of wildlife and native plants. Its a real oasis just 25 minutes from downtown St Paul.

Beautiful park that offers a variety of trails from dirt to grass to paved... wildflowers in abundance, and parking offered throughout giving a variety of access points

Really great renovations to the park and worth the wait. The trails need a bit more work. Some are still a bit overgrown and there are existing trail markers that dont match the maps. But the staff admit they are still putting the finishing touches on things.

Such a beautiful place to go walking

Very beautiful, I love going on walks here. They have many mant trails to go on which are both pavement and gravel, and the lake is right in the middle.

Very expansive space with what looked like really nice trails. We went for the playground which was great for the kids. They want to go back again, so it must have been good. Parking is $7 for one day, a little bit pricey, but if kids want to go more often we might spring for the $30 option.

I Love lie part 2 walkthrough or bike through. It has just been redone not too awfully long ago. Washington county does wonderful things with their parks.

Hopefully theyre planning to build another pavilion as theres no restroom currently. The lake and dock are a beautiful place to pass time or watch a sunset

This park was jusr renovated in 2018 and now has over five miles of skate and classic Nordic Ski trails. The trails are a good intermediate level with a nice combination of hills and flat stretches.

Grate place to go fishing. Fun local place to take the canoe out!

I used to love hiking there, and although I still appreciate the terrain and scenery, the quiet of the woods has been completely destroyed. There is a gun range nearby and all you hear is BANG BANG BANG from everywhere in the park. Too bad; they did such a nice job on the remodel.

You now have to pay to visit.

I am very unimpressed with the six million dollars that was spent on the renovation of this park. No updates to the bathrooms that is a shame. The new playground looks okay but I thought the old one was better with all the mature trees surrounding it along with picnic tables no more tables theres only one bench.

Newly opened after a year-long renovation. The bathrooms are closed because those arent done and half of the trails are not mowed and they should be. I was really disappointed after waiting over a year to come back to this park

Its nothing amazing. Pretty mediocre for the recognition it gets. The scenery on the paths were just OK. The paths were maintained pretty well though.
