We come here a couple times a year. Parking is easy. Lots of eating options close by. There’s even a pedestrian bridge leading to South Coast Plaza where you can park and eat. In the theater, we usually sit on the balcony which still has a good view. So many good shows come through here and we have enjoyed every one we have seen. My kids enjoy it too!

Loved my experience here watching Anastasia, the musical! My mom isn’t a huge fan of spending money so I knew that when the show was finally in town, I was going to buy her front seat mezzanine seats as soon as possible. On the first day of ticket sales, so many seats were already taken! We got lucky and snagged seats in the Loge section, seats 3 and 4.We are originally from LA so we were used to the seating at Pantages. I had to do a bit of research to fully understand the four sections of Segerstrom and ultimately ended up enjoying Loge due to the fact that we had front row seats. On my next show, I plan to stay at the orchestra terrace just because it has a more intimate feel but is a little further off center. The concessions here aren’t terribly expensive if you consider the cost of concessions at movie theaters and other areas (albeit they’re much smaller portions.) It can also be a bit chilly if you’re here for a couple hours so make sure you have a light sweater to keep you warm. There’s also always the good ol’ walk up and down the entire staircase during intermission!I didn’t get a chance to park here since my boyfriend just dropped us off but I am told you can park at South Coast Plaza across the street so long as you’re aware that it is far away to begin with. Other than that, I had an enjoyable experience here and plan to return fairly soon!

We purchased 4 tickets to a concert scheduled for July 2020 in the amount of $824.00, and it was of course canceled because of COVID-19. Apparently the concert will be rescheduled for next summer 2021, with no date given. I have made countless attempts through emails and phone calls to have my money refunded. No one answers the phone or emails. What terrible customer service!! I expected so much more from Segerstrom, we have been patrons for many years but will not be returning. They have my money!! Shameful

The musical Anastasia was performing here in the fall and I really wanted to see this musical. I grew up watching the movie and wanted to relive the music and story. The center is located nearby the Costa Mesa Plaza and it has a few parking structures. It is best to get early before the show starts because parking lines can get long. Before you enter the center, you need to go to security and metal detectors. You can rent out binoculars if your seats are far away from the stage. The cost is $8.00 and you need to leave your ID while you are in possession of them.My seat was E6 in the Loge section. You get a good view of the stage and do not need to get binoculars unless you want to see the facial expressions on the actors. The seats are comfy, clean, and the staff are friendly to answer questions or give you directions. The sound system is clear and the effects on stage are amazing. There is no need for big props or background changes. The effects were good to set the imagery and tone of the scenes. I was impressed by the center and do look forward to seeing more shows here.

We went there to see Cats musical and watch it from the lat row. Even though it was far up, the view was good. The performance setup + ambience was great. I would definitely come back. The parking as mentioned is $12 so a tad steep, but its close distance to the performance center. (There are two available on opposite side of each other - one has direct path to the center)

A world class venue designed exclusively for symphonic music, and ONLY for symphonic music. Easy access from the freeway, tram service to and from the parking structure, refereshment/cocktail bars on every level, SUPERB acoustics and sight lines and plush, comfortable seating. But the real jewel in the Centers crown is that, acoustically and aesthetically speaking, its superior to Walt Disney Hall, home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

A magnificent concert hall with superb acoustics. We attended a concert performed by a well known string orchestra and the sound was crystal clear without being overwhelming. The general management of the concert hall was also superb, with polite, helpful staff ensuring the smooth passage of customers to and from their seats. Car parking was ample, reasonably priced and close by, making the visit the highlight of our holiday to California. The immediate area surrounding the concert hall is also worth visiting for the contemporary architecture and landscaping. All first class..

We enjoyed a matinee showing of the nutcracker here. Finding the venue and parking was very easy. The parking structure was very convenient and we felt $12 for parking was fair. The concert hall was very easy to navigate and there was a large usher presence to help anyone with questions. The bathrooms show some age but were very clean and functional for large numbers of people. Concessions were somewhat limited but you can get a snack or a drink, we didnt go there for the food. We sat on the orchestra terrace and felt our seats were great! We will see future shows here.

Ive been several times to this venue, it is conveniently located next to the 405 and 55 freeways, which makes it really easy to access. Ive been almost all over the balcony area and lodge, the view is really good, I guess I could say that there isnt a bad seat in the house. So if you are in a budget, go ahead a buy one the upper view ticket seats it wont affect your experience. Parking is only 10 dollars.

Beautiful place to see a show. We went for fiddler on the roof. Only problem is bathrooms are far and crowded. Oh and the $30 double scotch. We were on the floor last row but a great view. Saw a ballet here and the theater was nice. It’s pretty big and I think serves a nice purpose for people who don’t want to go into LA. Parking was convenient, although a little pricey. One of the ushers we dealt with was a little rude to us when trying to ask about the handicap accessible seating; which is why I give it 4 stars. I would come back again if there was a show I was interested in.

This is the most beautiful performing art center in Orange County. I am proud to say that I am a frequent guest to this wonderful venue. I just enjoyed a Hamilton performance last night and so glad it came to Segerstrom.Segerstrom Hall is vast and each seat has a nice view of the stage. Balcony Row K had a great view from atop for $100 per seat. Not bad for such an incredible show with a cast of such talent. My dream was to see this show in NYC on Broadway; however, I am fully satisfied with Segerstrom Center of the Arts.Thank you Segerstrom, once again.

Beautiful event location. The main theater is absolutely stunning, great sound system, lighting board and curtain abilities. There are no bad seats in this theater. There are three complete levels and all of them are worth the price you pay.Ushers are very knowledgeable, very friendly and way beyond helpful.Bathrooms are clean and interesting. This is the first time Ive ever went into a bathroom that has a foot plunger. Its a very nice place for cultural events all around. I was in town and happened to see that there was a magician performing at 3PM on a Sunday afternoon. Tickets were listed as $50 per person on the Segerstrom Hall website, so my family traveled to the theater shortly before the show. Once we got there, we were offered tickets at $119 per person, and when we told them that they were $50 online, they gave us seats for $70 each; still much more than we were expecting to pay. The theater is quite large and our $70 tickets were near the last row, so the stage was quite hard to see. It would have been better if there were screens/televisions on each side of the screen to enlarge the performance at all times, but they did have a large screen for some of the acts.

The show was very entertaining (it included a funny skit that tied all the music together), they ended the performance with the title track to Star Wars (so awesome!!) and afterwards the kids did some crafts and tried some of the instruments. Overall I was very impressed. We want to go back next year when they play music from Harry Potter and other movies!

The design of the center is such that some seats have limited views, but these seats are not listed under partial blocked view. We asked steward, Dana, whether we could move a few seats down, as they were unoccupied and in the same category. He simply refused. My husband asked again, but he said no, they belong to me. We did not really understand what he meant, till later, we saw that he and another sterwardess were sitting there during the performance. Wish we could taken a picture of that.

This place was excellent! We went to see the opera production Madame Butterfly and the place was very well kept and clean. The Segerstrom center is a good sized place for almost any type of event whether its a play, concert, opera etc. The attendants are pretty friendly and they help you find your seat. No breaks to the restroom though if your attending an event and you have the urge to go during the event you may go, but you will not be let back in to the main auditorium until the intermission. My suggestion for you is that if you need to use the restroom you should go during the intermission. They sell coffee, alcohol, and other items at the concession stands at the venue.
