4 out of 5 based on lower level acoustics, its no Boston Symphony. Very old regulars makes a sleeping experience. No personality. Pretty place, just needs some life and character!

How can we be so lucky to live in a place where traffic is manageable people are still engaged with one another and we have a great venue that attracts some great talent.I love the Britt in summer but this is a great venue when the weather changes. I look forward to the opening of the Holly as this valley has room enough for two venues.Keep the talent coming. We are blessed to have a venue that brings great talent to our valley. We are blessed that we have a population that appreciates that talent.

The concert was nice. Some people were dressed up in formal attire, and some were in jeans. The music was good... African themed, but not African music. Drinks are really expensive since it’s a captive audience.

The concert was terrific. It was great to learn that the valet parking is discounted to $10 for the disabled. Normally $25. The light show with the Chris Botti concert was great. If coming from the south toward Bristol, take the exit before Bristol. Much easier.

Excellent acoustics & optics; atmosphere is that of a classical concert hall-quiet & appropriate to the occasion. Beverage bars on main & tiered floors, adequate time for intermission. Comfortable seating arrangement. Parking: self, handicapped, valet, street.

Loved this venue! It felt grand and intimate at the same time and the concert reverberated perfectly within the theater. We saw the Christmas concert with Albert Schram conducting the Pacific Symphony, along with Jackie Evanchos beautiful voice. What a wonderfully entertaining concert- full of glee, humor, Christmas caroling, and talent. What I noticed is the intimate, formal yet very inviting/contemporary - single row chair-seating in the higher tiers. Our company sat together beside the stage and felt like it was a private concert. Fab! :)

Beautiful venue and the musicians of the Pacific Symphony are spectacular! I go to the symphony several times a year and have never been disappointed. My fiancee had never been to a concert before but bringing her there she has now fallen in love with the breathtaking performances and is always enamored by the beautiful modern yet classic venue.

Augustine Hadelich, violinist with conductor Michael Francis and the Pacific Symphony had Pagannini applauding from his grave. As conductor Francis put it Hadelich plays like hes on a high wire in stilettos and is perfect at making it look and sound effortless. It was a jaw dropping evening as a whole.

I live near Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall so its cool in that sense. It has the feeling of a dive bar but for a place to be a dive bar, Pabst Blue Ribbon has to be under 3 dollars.I was impressed by the human turnout. I was there at 9 PM on a Monday and it was quite full. Nevertheless Ill be coming here often.

The show was great. My son, wife, and i loved it. They have a thing called bacon candy that you have to try. Its so good but you wont want to share with anybody so make sure you get one per person. The tickets are a good price so that the kids can see some opera.

I went to an orchestra concert last weekend. The concert hall was beautiful and the sound was great. The staff were friendly and there were enough number of them. The bathrooms were clean. The access was smooth and the security people were also friendly. Water bottles full of water were allowed to be brought in. Overall, it was a nice experience to visit there and to enjoy classical music.

I love this place. I love going to see shows here. My only complaint is I wish that they would set a dress code for the evening shows. When I go to see a ballet I do not want to sit next to somebody who is wearing sweats tennis shoes and a t-shirt.

This is our favorite venue for music and theatre in Southern California. The spectacular architecture really makes every performance an extra special occasion. Plan to arrive at least a half hour before any performance to park and get to your seat. Its a large complex with many different performances happening simultaneously.

Review №82

This is a beautiful Hall and the best chance to see top notch talent if you dont want to drive to La. However, in my opinion, the Acoustics are horrible and the seating is uncomfortable. I have complained about the sound system for years, and as my hearing continues to deteriorate with age, I have continued to attempt to use their headphone system. I tried again for the recent Wizard of Oz concert, and both the regular system and the telecoil system for my hearing aids were failures. The Head Usher was very nice about it, but I could not enjoy the concert. Compare this to my recent experience at the La Mirada Performance Center. There, the headphone system worked perfectly, and I could enjoy the West Coast premiere of Murder on the Orient Express. As a comparison, the sound system out South Coast Rep works perfectly, too, where we enjoy Christmas Carol annually. I hate to sound like a cranky old man, but I really wish the experience for this Hall was much much better. My rating is an average between my wifes opinion and mine.

I do enjoy going to Segerstrom for events. I went to the Renee and Henry concert hall for the first time for Ludovicos concert. Though the music was absolutely amazing, I found myself so cold that staying there was unpleasant. I wasnt alone, as each time I went outside , I heard others mention how cold it was and how they were going to write a letter expressing their concerns.Overall I do enjoy this venue quite a bit..

Ive gone to both Renee and Henry segerstrom concert hall as well as segerstrom hall multiple times and the venues never fail to provide an elegant experience for whatever program you are watching. Recently, I bought tickets for my family to see the iconic Tis The Season! show and it certainly enhanced our holiday spirits. The choir and organ produced some powerful sounds that touched your soul. We sat in the promenade side seating on the 5th floor and while the views werent bad, I would try to get seats more towards the middle next time. Please be aware that it is important to be punctual to your program or else you will not be able to enter until that particular piece/act/etc is finished. Renee and Henry segerstrom concert hall is one of the most beautiful venues Ive ever seen and I strongly believe every OC resident should experience an evening here at least once
